When I walked into Sally Beauty looking for three particular items the manager greeted me at the door. The manager showed me several items that I requested except one they didnt carry but apologize for not having it. I purchased the items that she showed me. She was very knowledgeable, helpful and customer friendly. It was a great experience. π
Staff is really friendly and help you with questions. My wife had a few, and they helped her with the things she needed.
Iβve always loved Sallyβs. I took a friend today to get some dye for her hair and was told if we wanted a bag for the stuff she bought it would cost 15 cents!!! So now you spend your money in this store and you still have to buy your own bag. Itβs not the price that matters itβs the principal that you have to buy a bag for the products you buy from their store. Sadly I will not be going back to Sallyβs again.
Before you buy a new product, do your research. All hair reacts different and the workers are just there to sell.
During this hectic time, I was so relieved when I discovered Sally Beauty was still open. This Sugar Land location answered my call immediately. Ashley was incredibly helpful over the phone while ordering- she answered my questions and the recommended products to substitute what was out of stock worked great! The hair mask she recommended made my hair feel AMAZING after bleaching twice in a week. Thanks again, Ashley! I will definitely be returning to this location!

Its got a decent selection however Im a professional beautician and can say I know for sure the people who work here dont have a lot of product knowledge so be sure to ask an actual cosmetologist to figure out what you need first! Thankfully I know what Im looking at but if youre not familiar ask your hairstylist first before attempting anything on your own hair by yourself!!!
They are so rude. Too many quality people looking for a job. They need to replace the bitter lady working ther.

Asked the employee about some hair dye/products and not only was she rude, but she didnβt know what she was talking about. This is the only location Iβve been to thatβs disappointed me.Update: Returned for dye to do my roots hoping it was just that one employee; however another employee checks me out. She tells me I can get another ion dye for free, so I come back with another one and she charges me full price anyway? I didnβt need another $7 bottle of dye, but I only chose it because I was told itβd be free.
Place is good but the recommendation of toner was very wrong. Luckily the manager who is really nice said if it didnt work I could get my money back. 4 stars for the inconvenience of having to go back.
This is a great place to get hair products for professional or private use in addition to the staff being very knowledgeable and friendly
Great customer service
I have visited this location several times. The last time was the last time. The customer service is always been bad, but this last time there was only one person working there, the place was in shambles and she just complained and complained about her employees and how she was going to close the store down during open hours so she could get caught up on the work. I like Sally Beauty and Ive given him a lot of money over the years, but I will not return to this location. This is Sugar Land Texas it should be a top of the line store
Really, really rude and very non customer service oriented staff. Today, she wouldnt even let me use her trash can without a fight. Combine that with a hard as nails, never bending return policy and I wonder why I ever shop here.

WOOORRRSTTTT SALLYβS EVER!!!!!! I came here on a Sunday looking for a product and they had a bunch of boxes in front of an entire wall of shelves blocking so many products! The lady told me to come back the next day as the boxes would be gone by the time I returned. I returned the next day and two women were just shelving items with all the several boxes STILL blocking the entire wall of shelves. I spoke with one of the ladies telling her I needed a product behind the boxes, she and the other lady were completely unhelpful and uncaring, then basically told me they were not going to move the boxes and they didnβt know when they would be gone. All she said was βjust call next time so you donβt waste your timeβ. I canβt imagine how much profit they are losing everyday with these boxes blocking SEVERAL items that customers come in to regularly purchase. BAD BUSINESS!!!
I normally love Sallys, but I wont be returning to this location. Customer service is extremely lacking....plenty of people working, but none willing to help. Very disappointing.
Im normally not the review writer, but today I decided to stop by this location for a few beauty & hair care items. What Ive noticed is, this store is always clean & I find myself leaving with more than what I stopped in for..... I dont care what day I stop by, Them ladys sure can suggest a sale on the product Im purchasing.

Customer service here today was dismal. I only saw one lady and she was incredibly rude to a customer in front of me in line who was asking about hair dye brands. She almost yelled at her that she didnβt have time to answer her questions because she had βeight boxes to unpackβ. That customer ended up leaving instead of purchasing her items. What I needed was behind the counter and when I asked for it the lady behind the counter gave me a disgusted look and said, βyouβre still using a Chiβ? I was so rattled by the way she talked to the person in front of me and then felt belittled because of my choice of flat iron so I left. I went and bought my flat iron at Ulta instead.

Purchased what I thought was a sealed starter kit for acrylic nails. Got the kit home, unzipped the bag (Without removing the zip tie) and both the clear and white powder jars had already been opened, the foil seal was broken on both.I went directly back to the store, told them what happened and their response was that it was shipped directly from the warehouse and kept in the back so nobody could have opened it. I guess Im a liar who wasted my gas to get one over on them 30 minutes after I purchased their product.I asked them to exchange it, they said thats the only one they had. I asked them to exchange just the jars of powder out for ones that were still sealed, they said they wouldnt.They offered no apologies at all, and after buying something so unsanitary from this store I will not be returning. They have lost my business for sure.
First time shopping at Sallyβs. Iβm not going back again. Terrible service, both ladies were very rude, ugly attitude, not answering my questions and when I paid for my products she didnβt bagged my stuffs. Sugar land should have the best customer service. Very disappointed π‘
Great place to get hair products
As a professional hair dresser my hrs are very limited as to when I get to visit the shop to get things I need for keeping my clients happy. I walked into the store 1hr and 40 mins before they close and they have all here trimmers and clippers saved in the back. And the girl with the green hair was extreamily unhelpful. Its very inconvenient to start saveing merchandise almost 2 hrs before you close. Also they disconnect the phones later at night so that they dont have to help you and they can get out faster

This is an OK sallys. They may need to train more on product usage and customer service. On a couple occassions, I felt the staff was very rude and unhelpful. My advice is to remove individuals that dont want to work. Consumers expect direction from the attendants there, and sometimes they dont really care to provide it.
