OnDuty has given us great service ever since we moved to the area a year ago now. We needed the batttery changed and were told that the receiver I believe needed to be changed. They changed it for free and at the same appointemnet I requested! No hassles as there usually are with company appointments. Mr. Huerta was also incredibly friendly and patient. Showed me how the new application worked, set up the zones, and showed me how to call fire or police dept from the keypad. Keep up that great customer service!

Ive had Onduty for 6 years so far and we transferred service to our new home just now. Javier Martinez was GREAT! He was very professional. The equipment was neatly installed and he took the time to explain all the features of the alarm and app. 5 Stars all the way!!!
I been having my alarm with On Duty for over 7 years and Mr. Khiem Nguyen installed everything when I bought my house and everything works great. I just opened a restaurant and asked for Mr. Khiem Nguyen to come again to install my alarm service with On Duty. Mr. Khiem Nguyen was very professional and knowledgeable of his works. I would very recommended to everyone to have Mr. Khiem Nguyen to install your works.
Great service by sales specialist, Sam and excellent work by field personnel Khiem who made it happen.They had difficulty in accessing existing security box and they rerouted all cables and setup the home security fairly quickly.

On Duty is NEVER on duty! Apparently they only work Mon - Fri for security. You are on your own for the weekends. You get the joy of no one monitoring calls every weekend and the option to leave a message or to go through for emergency support (option 2). Emergency support was ANOTHER mailbox to leave a message. We left several and heard from no one. Totally unprofessional. Be sure to get in writing their support and monitoring.
We had a great experience with OnDuty when we purchased our MHI home. They were polite and friendly. Once we closed they sent our a very nice gentlemen named Jerrod to hook up our system. He also explained about the pest control services and let me know we would receive a discounted rate if we had both services. We chose to give their pest services a try even though they are different then what I was used to. I have been very pleased to say the least regarding all the services they have provided. I did have an issue with the billing at first but I called the office and spoke with Karen in accounting and the matter was explained and cleared up immediately. Over all we have had a wonderful experience.
I just them for alarm monitoring and pest control. They are always professional and polite. Zelon was the alarm tech that came and trouble shot a problem I was having with my system and was very knowledgeable. He gave me all my options so I was well informed. I will recommend this company to anyone who is looking for alarm services.
I am very UPSET that On Duty runs such a crappy business. We were building our house with Coventry Builders and went to the Design Center where we were put in contact with OnDuty for our wiring, pest control, and security needs. We were super excited and the sales agent we worked with was amazing. We signed a contract with them to be our pest and security providers. It took our house 10 months to build. We totally forgot about them being our provider. They never contacted us to keep us informed about the process and what is next. We closed on our home and they took 4 days to contact us about being our vendor. Security is my husbands priority and they never contacted us in the timely manner. They finally called and we already had security in place than they proceed to tell us we had a $1,300 cancellation fee and that if it is NOT paid, they will send it into collections! This is ridiculous that this company did not contact us in a timely manner nor did they keep in contact with us to keep us informed about their services. This is a LOW DOWN company and I wouldnt do business with them in any way!!! I wish I could score them a 0 because I would!
Wouldnt recommend them, poor customer service. Called several times to discuss alarm issues, never could get anyone to respond. When someone answered, they would transfer me to a message machine, and this went on for a couple of weeks (never did respond to my messages). Finally when I spoke to someone I refused to hang-up until I was able to get someone to help me. The person who answered told me there was no one there (they say the same thing every time you call), but I told her I would hold until there was someone available. She said Id be holding for hours. I told her that was okay, because I had been trying for days to get someone assistance. I was on hold for about 4min when someone else got on the line and finally provided me with some information (which by that time was how to cancel my account).If you think Im just a disgruntle person, try call them and getting some information. You may be able to easily setup an account or get new service, but try calling them after you have any kind of service. I promise youll have issues getting someone to assist you with anything. They are always to busy to address your issues. The service is next to DirectTV service, and if you ever had that, you know exactly what I mean...
I use OnDuty for an Alarm system with monitoring as well as cameras. They are professional and provide excellent service. I know they are one of the largest privately controlled Security providers in Houston.
Signed up for service (Pest and alarm monitoring) and told them we were renting the home for a year. OnDuty techs came out and were helpful, signing me up quickly. Pest service was good, even though they skipped a quarter and had to be reminded. Paid to get cellular service for alarm system, but did not seem like monitoring service was the best...weve had Smith Thompson in the past and received quick calls when the alarm went off. Never one from OnDuty. Here is the real issue. We decided to use OnDuty as they were recommended by the Grand Mission subdivision. Both services started on the same day, with the Pest tech coming out first. Contract was for 1 year, no problem. Alarm tech came out same day and got us fixed up as well. Signed contract, no problem, assuming it was for the same term since billing would all be done together. We move out of the house after 10 months and send the proper termination forms they provided. We end up getting billed when the next quarter charges arrive. When I call to get that fixed, Im told they have no record of my July termination. Due to computer issues, I cant provide the best proof, so they apply my termination to Oct instead. Ill just need to pay the early termination fees for my 3 YEAR term for alarm monitoring. I asked where 3 years came from and was told Its on your agreement. I read all the agreement and see it states a 5 year term in fine print. I explain the reasoning behind thinking both services were for the same one year and ask why they are saying 3 years if the contract says 5 years? Im told...Our mistake, but I wont tell anyone and we can leave it at 3 years for you. Take this a as a lesson learned. If you can arbitrarily change the term from 5 years to 3 years and that not be listed anywhere, why not change it to one year and we can call it even? Very Poor Customer Service to resolve the issue on top of deceptive practice concerning contract terms. I would warn anyone else to go with a different provider due to the way this was handled.

We have had On Duty for Pest Control and Alarm for 8 years. While they dont have the smoothest operation (although that seems to be improving), and I have had some issues with tech appointments (canceled last minute), for the most part, they have been accessible and reliable for both services.
Onduty Systems is a great company. They just completed the installation of a system in my home, complete with cameras and full blown security.The installer was very friendly and showed my how to control the system from anywhere in the world on my cell phone. I can also see my cameras on the phone.Very helpful and friendly. Was contacted the following day by a lady who wanted to follow up and make sure everything was to my expectations. QUALITY!
Weve been using On Duty since we moved into our house over 10 years ago. If I could rate their Pest Control group separately I would give them 5 stars+ Theyve always done a great job but the biggest factor in why the Pest Control is so good is the gentlemen that comes to our home. He is amazingly good and his customer service skills are off the chart. As for the Alarm monitoring system, initially it was excellent our service was connected to the landline phone we had at the time and if the alarm went off we would get a call within 30 seconds. We cut the cord on the land line several years back and changed the system to a cellular/wireless system. Now if the alarm gets tripped it will literally take minutes to get that call. Thank goodness weve been the ones to accidentally trip the alarm but if someone were to break in, they could probably do a grab and go with plenty of time before the police were even notified. In fairness Im not sure if any other cellular notification system is any better. I would recommend Onduty. They must treat their employees well, as their customer service is excellent.

Ive had them out to my house several times trying to get my system working correctly taking time off from work and they showed up without all the equipment the first time so I had to take another day off work. The second time they still were not prepared. Today I realized my alarm is not connected to the windows and they wanted to charge me to have it fixed outside of regular bussiness hours l,its a good thing burglars only work during regular bussiness hours. Piss poor service and piss poor technicians,the whole company is just a bunch of clock punchers who want to do as little as possible as soon as they have your money.
OnDuty Systems is one of Houstons best Fire System Installation and Monitoring services. They do all the systems at the Houston ZOO!
During the design selection process with our home builder we were entered into a contract for service from OnDuty. The service was to start after we closed on our home. It took 7 months to complete our home. OnDuty did not contact us directly until after we closed on the home upon completion. After closing OnDuty called us to schedule first service. We requested cancellation but OnDuty said there would be a large early termination fee. I asked to clarify why as the first service had yet to be performed. The phone representative stated they still would charge an early termination fee. Refusing to allow cancellation without an ETF while still before first service ever performed is completely unacceptable. This is the behavior of an unethical company and I will forever go out of my way to recommend against doing business with these people.
This is a terrible company. My alarm kept beeping in the middle of the night and waking me up and they couldn’t fix it. Do NOT use them.
BEWARE!!!!!. Avoid On duty if you can. I got locked in based on agreement my HOA has with this organization. Very poor service. Fraudulent Organization with Poor service. Avoid at all cost.
Upon the move into our new home, OnDuty was the only contractor to show up on time. They were very professional. I use them for my pest control and alarm service. Very friendly people to deal with.
