Im from out of town and really needed some ballet shoes for my son. The lady there found the perfect pair for my son he was spinning around with a smile. Thank you for your great customer service and having the product needed for my son. 😊👍🏽

Not really sure why there are so many bad reviews... I guess people only take the trouble to write one when something has gone wrong. Ive bought many things here from character shoes to leos and tights and never encountered anything but pleasant helpful employees...

The dance store is convenient. However their inventory and service leaves much to be desired. They need to properly train their employees in customer service. Most parents in the Sugar Land area are driving up to Katy or North Houston instead of Razzle because they get better and more capable and knowledgeable service. I have shopped at Rizzle both under previous management and current management and it continues to have the snow issues. The employees are short, appear to have zero knowledge about their inventory, do not help customers with shoe fitting or finding items needed. Razzle is missing a huge opportunity to provide a resource in the area that is absent yet much needed.

Id give it a 0 star if I could. I stepped into Razzle Dazzle at Sugar Land yesterday looking for a nude leotard for my daughters dance competition, without my daughter with me I wasnt sure about the size, the sales lady talked me into purchasing a intermediate one by nicely telling me that they have a 10-day return policy. Of course it didnt fit, when I tried to return it today, another sales lady told me that they can only return store credit! Yes, they do have a fine print at the register, but therere many signs / boards over there, shall customers read all of them before making a purchase?!

I have always experienced friendly, considerate, and professional assistance from the staff. If you want a one size fits all, go to WalMart. If you prefer to do business with a store that caters to the unique need of every customer, visit Costumes and Dancewear in Sugar Land. You wont be disappointed.

I have shopped at Costumes and Dancewear for years. I have been living out of state for a couple of years and returned recently to dance in a recital. I needed to purchase a pair of dance shoes and when I called, the sales person that answered was rude. When telling her what I needed and what size, she proceeded to question me and speak to me like I was stupid - instead of providing quality customer service. I did end up purchasing the shoes due to availability and issues with time, but I will never shop there again nor recommend it to someone else.

Convenient for Sugarland and Missouri City residents. Pretty well stocked with the bacics if you dont have time to run into Houston. But they have NO return policy. You have 10 days for store credit, zero returns. Thats a deal breaker for me.

Today’s my last time to visit this store due to their store return/exchange policy. I wanted to exchange an unopened tights but got rejected, and i was surprised to learn that! Please make a right decision on your purchase there, otherwise you would be upset like me.

DO NOT GET YOUR POINTE SHOES FITTED HERE!!!!Yesterday I accompanied a few of my students to be fitted for their first pair of Pointe shoes. I am no expert on shoes, but as a dancer and ballet teacher, I know how Pointe shoes are to look to the audience and feel to the dancer.I asked the saleswoman doing the fitting if she could bring out any other brands besides Blochs, which is the only style she had brought out for my girls to try. She brought out one pair of Capezios for one of the girls but when they didn’t fit, she took them back and proceeded to bring out more Blochs. The entire fitting parents requested for the girls to try other brands but these requests were ignored. Out of 3 there was only one dancer who found the right shoe for her. When the fitting was over, all but one parent decided they would like to continue shopping for the best shoe, which is custom when looking for Pointe shoes. Once the saleswoman realized all of them weren’t going to buy she became very rude and quoted we “wasted her time” and that the next fitting would require a fee. I interjected saying that it wasn’t that the parents didn’t trust her opinion but rather would like to try on more than one brand. This did not help and the saleswoman became hysterical, snatching the shoes out of our hands, telling us to leave, proceeded to walk away from the sales floor and refused to sell to the parent who did want to buy.Another saleswoman came out to ring up 2 of the parents who ended up buying but we will never patronize this business again. If your fittings are “fit to buy” then that needs to be clearly stated or charge a fitting fee. I feel the woman was merely trying to sell the parents shoes but had no interest in helping my girls find the perfect pair and frankly it was sad that this was my students’ first Pointe shoe fitting experience.You should really seek to hire knowledgeable dancers who have experience wearing Pointe shoes, rather than sales people who will push a sale even when the fit isn’t right. Horrible customer service, especially from someone who claimed to be a manager.In response to your response:1) You are not being truthful ma’am. You became rude after the parents said they weren’t going to purchase. I had nothing to do with that, I was sitting in my seat2) I didn’t take over your appointment. The parents expressed concerns to me, I then relayed those messages to you. I did not advise them whether to buy or not. They made those decisions on their own. I even said that I really liked the fit of one of the girls’ shoes but the decision to buy was not up to me.3) I will not allow you to lie on me. I am 5’0, 105lbs with a fresh manicure, I assure you that I did not “wrestle” you. And neither did any of my parents who were there with their daughters. You snatched a box of shoes out of our hands and you did this UNPROVOKED.4) Don’t come for my credentials. It was not my recommendation that they go En Pointe, we were there because their director felt they were ready. Speak about what you know ma’am. Do not go down this road with me. I teach at a lot of studios in your area, and my opinion is respected. You will not lie on me.

Terrible service since day one!!! Customer service is terrible!!! I swear the girl knows nothing about dance . How I miss the previous store. Its worth the drive to Katy or anywhere else to avoid this store!!!

These people are ALWAYS rude.. its like walking on eggshells going into that store and I only do so when I am desperate to pick up something in a hurry because a last minute items pops up. Otherwise, I shop somewhere else in advance. Its too bad they think theyre the only ones out there. They act like their customers are stupid. I have had enough!
