This place has zero service, I was calling this place last 3 days and no one pick up phone, I give them 1 star if there is no start option I will chose that oneWorst service, please never use this place to lease instrument or buy from them, I order my instrument to this store it’s in the store from last week but no one ever follow upReally poor service
Went to the store after calling and was told no wait to return a rented instrument waited patiently while the only worker helped a customer for over 20 minutes during that 20 minutes someone called for curbside to say they were outside mind you I was there waiting patiently for over 20 minutes the so called manager ( TAYLOR SHARP) help them before them before ME and they had only been waiting less than 10 minutes took me over 30 mins for a 5 min visit. Manager needs more training for customer service... NOT IMPRESSED ESSENTIAL WORKER
I went in to buy some bongos but they only had one set. As I was about to leave the store I decided ask Michael, I believe that was his name, if they had any more. He told me no they did not, all you see is what we have. But then he told me about a guitar center that was about 10 minutes. I was in a rush and he assured me that I can make it there and back and even put the directions in my phone for me. He was right. Got what I needed and made it back to work on time.
The staff there is unbelievable, they will go above and beyond to help you. Nate, Derald, Matt, and a girl I think her name is Stacy helped me get my clarinet and were supper nice and excited for me and answered any and all of the questions I had. Definitely recommend to go to this place.
I want to recognize an employee that helped me at the Sugar Land location. I was upset when I called her, she completely understood my frustration and she apologized for the poor customer service that I had already received from online customer service. She then worked to get me the reimbursement for the shipping that I paid for and did not receive. She was busy with another customer in the store and she managed to check back with me and let me know that she was working to help me. After she made sure that I was a satisfied customer, we then got off the phone. She is the type of employee that makes a company great! So please make sure to tell Miriam that I said THANK YOU again! After sending this email to the Retail Director of Sales, Henry Hart, he then reached out to me and apologized for the poor service I received through online customer service. He also was very professional & spoke highly of his employee Miriam. He too made sure that I was a satisfied customer.I only wish that I could bring the Music & Arts Sugar Land location and employees to Louisiana! They are very professional and have great customer service, and I highly recommend them for your music/instrument needs!
The line was long but the excellent customer service made it worth the wait.
The customer service at Music and Arts in Sugarland is amazingly awesome!! From the time my family and I walked into the store, until the time we left we were provided five star treatment!! Eric is the absolute BEST!!! He went out of his way to assist us and made us feel like valued customers. I’m definitely going to recommend this store to everyone I know!! Likewise, we will continue to come from the Pearland area to frequent this location! Eric, thank you so much for being the awesome guy that you are!! You are truly heaven sent! I pray unthinkable blessings over your life! If I could give Eric and this store 40 stars I would!!! Thank you all again for the FANTASTIC & AMAZINGLY AWESOME customer service! God bless
When it comes to leasing instruments this place is the worst. Customer service at the 800 number are terrible. You have to sit on hold for over 20 mins just to speak to someone then once you get through they transfer you all over the place. 45 mins later of being on the phone with customer service I still did not have an answer. There was not one person out of the 3 ppl I spoke to that could help me. Left a message with a supervisor named Melanie and have yet to receive a call back. Do not rent instruments from this place, it’s a nightmare to say the least.
Outstanding customer service. Eric is doing a great job. I recommend this store for all of your musical instruments needs.
Very knowledgeable about the instrument my daughter plays and the reeds she needed. Very good service
(Apr. 14, 2018; 2pm) The staff here doesnt seem to care much about customer service. I stood at the counter for 10 minutes while Ms. Bandana (the girl behind the counter with the head bandana) was doing something with the register; Mr. Percussion (the other clerk with the word percussion stitch to his shirt) was busy with paperwork; and another older lady was busy straightening out an inventory of flutes.I could of waited forever, except I had a boy with special needs and he was getting fussy. So finally I asked again, can someone help ring this up. Mr. Percussion said, Id be right with you, as he continues with his paperwork. Ms. Bandana just glared at me. Mr. Percussion was finally ready; he said, can I have your phone number? I said I dont want to give it out, Im paying cash. He said I need a profile to enter the register. I gave him a made up number. He said thats not a real number, I gave him 3 more made up numbers. He gave up and accepted one of my phony numbers and completed my purchase of $3.50.This was not the first time Ive had poor service at Music & Arts. Ive rented violin for my daughter and signed up for lessons. In brief, issues every time (we have changed vendor since).I came in today because it was convenient - I just had lunch at Smashburgers).Be forewarned, if youre thinking of renting or buying anything that may need service - youll be disappointed.
Great store the salesman was very helpful nice and Knowledgeable, I would definitely go back again
Great service and EXTREMELY knowledgeable!!
It was my first time coming to Music & Arts in SugarLand and it was amazing. My family and I were greeted in a way where they made us feel comfortable and like family. My trip to the store was only suppose to be a 30-60 minutes but it turned out we were there for a couple hours and the whole time Rebecca was so attentive on what we needed. Shes so awesome, down to earth and very professional. We really thought she was the manager because the whole time we were there i was observing her customer service and I was amazed how she took her time with every customer to help and answer every question. I was so happy with my purchase that I went back the next day and she made another transaction go so smooth. The whole staff is really great. The other worker that we loved talking and working with is Matthew. My son was pleased with him and his love to music engaged him to learn more... Thank you Rebecca and Matthew yall are awesome! I really recommend this store to everyone and they will also give you the best price...Remember if you want the best customer service just ask for Rebecca Shanks.
The customer service is disgusting. “Wayne” in Customer Service is abusive and insulting. He started the phone call with a chip on his shoulder and very agitated. The greeting states that calls may be recorded, but apparently they never are because most of the people I have spoken with, thus far, would no longer be employed. Only considering if those persons monitoring the calls wished to represent Music & Arts with some degree of integrity, that is. I got off the phone with “Wayne” in tears, and in shock. Life happens and sometimes people need help. If that hasn’t happened to you yet -keep living-. It certainly was not a problem when Music & Arts failed to auto draft payments from the card I authorized, for a few months, due to a system change. But later, they decided to draft the full balance from a “one-time” only card, without my permission. I tried multiple times to call during these few month, but the hold time is ridiculous! I have a full time job, and can’t just waste time chasing a customer service rep. I had to put my phone on the charger on more than one occasion and leave it on speaker phone. I can go on and on. Choose wisely and shop around. Some companies do anything they can to get you in the door.
Great service and super nice staff.
I got all of my school supplies from here and they have good quality items for every instrument :)
Would not recommend going to for getting an instrument for school. Customer service is slow and management is intolerable. Repairs take ages, let alone the line to get a repair. In many cases the staff there were distracted and more into talking off task than accompany the customer.
Eric is very helpful and provides excellent customer service.
Very nice people
Nice place but a lot of instruments are not available
I dont want to even give one star. I bought a wire stand with the bag. It turned out it cannot hold a binder with one sheet. I had to return it. The store people were so rude and told me I cannot put a binder on the stand. I had to buy a heavy duty stand. It is ridiculous. I attended a 400 people competition yesterday and all other peoples stands could hold a binder. Then he admitted this stand was defective. This store hates you when you have to return things. This stand cost only $27. Imagine if you return expensive things, they probably will kill you.
Hi um i was wodering do you are still giving the discount thing for christa mcauliffe
Tyler is very fruendly
The service wasnt what I expected. I only went there for a repair. They wasnt even able to tell me when its gonna be ready.
So I went to exchange my viola to a bigger one and when I got it I unpacked it at home and one of the strings was missing.
You guys are the bust😘😘
