Fantastic local ice cream shoppe featuring local recipes! We had the sampler and it was AMAZING.Smells of fresh waffle cones, brownies, and cookies dazzled my senses as I entered. Staff was upbeat and knowledgeable about the products available. Interior lighting showcased lovely works of art. One of the first places Ive been where I could actually hear the bass of the song playing.Absolutely love this place and cant wait to try more flavors in the future!

Magic Scoop is fantastic. Its the best ice cream Ive ever had I really cant say enough about it. If anyone is familiar with how terrific Amys in Austin is...well this is another step up. You can tell everything they make is with the highest quality and they must use incredible high butter fat cream to make the smoothest/creamiest ice cream. This place doesnt get enough publicity. Its worth the stop or even a special trip to Sulphur Springs...its that GOOD.

Large selection of ice cream, even with a couple flavors with alcohol for the adults. Kentucky Bourbon Vanilla andWhiskey Chocolate Chip are the two that they had, the day we stopped by. Prices reasonable, workers were very kind and respectful. Nice atmosphere for family. Games at the tables to pass the time; Connect Four, cards, mind puzzles.

Loved this ice cream shop. It was full of glamour with a cozy environment. There were many things to see and buy. The paintings were gorgeous and the variety of the items such as toys, ceramics, clothing and other merchandise were very picturesque. Its a cute place to stroll through. Quite a variety of things to purchase from paintings/prints on the walls, toys, gifts, and a huge assortment of ice cream flavors. My husband and I each got a single dip waffle cone that was over $11 total.

We visited Sulpher Springs this weekend to see the SW Dairy Museum....which is closed in weekends🤔 We ended up going to Veterans Park where we found this amazing ice cream shop. Its such a trip to just walk in and absorb the atmosphere. Its full of fun decorations, table games, and artwork (which is for sale). We were helped by the nicest lady who made us a latte for my Mother in law and also helped us to get a Magic Coffee ( I dont think thats what its actually called but something to that effect). It was hot coffee with a scoop of steamed ice cream in it! We chose the double shot espresso ice cream and our nice friend behind the counter added mocha for sweetness and it was THE best coffee we have had. Their Mexican vanilla ice cream was very rich and delicious as well. All the ice cream is made fresh on site. Lovely experience. We will definitely visit again if we are in the area!

Great little Ice cream parlor just off the square in downtown Sulfer Springs. This is a great destination for a road trip on a Saturday afternoon. Large selection of homemade ice cream. All the flavors we tried were insanely good. I highly recommend this place and the downtown area as a place to spend a couple of hours on a lazy Saturday afternoon.

This isn’t your typical ice cream shop. It’s a mixture of a Texas oddities shop and ice cream parlor. The ice cream is all hand made. It’s some of the best ice cream I’ve ever had. There was a private party going on upstairs so it was kids being kids. The noise wasn’t bad honestly it made the place seem more kid friendly. There were games in the tables and just so much to see.

Very nice group of employees and very helpful in choosing a great ice cream. Service with a smile.

This was such a fun place with a great selection of ice cream. I loved that I was able to get a sampler with several smaller scoops and the fresh waffle cones tasted as heavenly as they smelled. I really enjoyed this experience except for 1 of the girls working was extremely rude. The other was kind and helpful as I asked questions since it was my first time, the other was argumentative, snarky and completely unprofessional. Every time the girl would answer my question about some things I saw available online, the girl would argue with her. I asked if the sampler came with waffle chips (which I had seen online) the rude girl said no very sharply. The other girl politely said, yes it does, it comes with waffle chips. She snapped back not since Ive worked here. She said, yes, it always has. After I ordered the sampler the rude girl brought over a waffle cone on a plate. The polite girl said its supposed to come with the waffle chips and the rude girl snarled she can crunch it up herself, Im not doing it. And walked away. I run a business of my own and if one of my employees ever spoke to a customer that way they would be fired on the spot. This girl with the long haired pig tails needs to be fired immediately, the other girl and anyone else that has had to put up with her deserves a raise.

Loved the ice cream so much! Customer service was perfect and the only downside was this costumer in front of me debating the menu with the employees! The girls did a perfect job at handling her and were very nice to me after the situation. Overall a great experience!

Today, we stopped at The Magic Scoop in Sulphur Springs after lunch. Theres no way you can cannot be happy after visiting this place! Its a classic ice cream shop that is a miss-mosh of 50s, 60s, 70s and 80s. Ice cream cones, sundaes, malts, classic candies, soda pop in bottles, and even Connect Four and Rockem Sockem Robots at the tables. All ice cream made in house. AND its good. Great atmosphere.

Great ice cream. Recommend the vanilla bourbon and rum raisin. Also the drive thru is pet friendly providing a treat for the doggos. The store site on the square has more flavor selections and is a lovely place to browse in.

We are from out of town and were driving around town checking everything out... the place stood out. We learned and enjoyed some homemade ice cream. The girl working gave great suggestions and let us try a few before we settled on banana pudding in a homemade waffle cone and the fudgey cookie batter! They were great and the store looked fun. They have a space upstairs to enjoy your treat. Definitely worth the stop in!!!

The Magic Scoop Drive Thru and their friendly young staff member saved the day today! We stumbled upon this gem only after wasting our time running around to two snowcone stands only to discover they were closed; contrary to their FB pages and Google search. Very frustrating but luckily The Magic Scoop offers great products, with friendly staff (highly recommend Cotton Candy Italian Ice) and cares enough to keep their customers informed on current hours of operations. I love my snow cones but from now on when in the SS area I’m a loyal Magic Scoop Italian Ice gal. Thank you again. 👍🏼👍🏼

Best ice cream Ive had since I was in Italy! I took my five year old today, and we had a great time! In addition to amazing homemade ice cream, they have all kinds of games that were fun for my son AND me: checkers, connect four, pool, air hockey, jenga, and even card/table games (like battleship) for fun while eating. The staff was efficient, helpful, and friendly, and the environment was welcoming and clean. We will definitely be back!

This groovy parlour is a veritable cornucopia of treasures. Something for everyone. Its pretty simple...walk in, look around, find something you cant live without. Prices are reasonable and the staff is enthusiastic, friendly, and attractive. Go there once, youll be there twice.

Their ice cream is the best!! It’s all good, but if you haven’t had either the strawberry ice cream or strawberry ice cream shake, you are really missing out. They use all real ingredients. No artificial flavors. I highly recommend it.

It is rare to find an ice cream parlor anymore where they still make their own ice cream and waffle cones too. Fantastic flavors and new twists on old favorites make this a great place to visit if you want gourmet ice cream. Great people run this place.

We love this place! The flavors are always changing so you get a wide variety of flavors and the service is always excellent. This is the main location and it has an upstairs where you can hang out and play games and well as booths downstairs and a general store you can browse. We just found this place a couple months ago and weve already been six times.

This place is fun, constantly busy, the wait staff is helpful and conversational, and the ice cream is delicious. If you have a big sweet tooth a good tip is to go for the banana split, which is a great deal. A great find, and a good place to cool off on a hot afternoon, or for a cozy date on the second floor. This is a treasure hidden in the busy sulpher springs district. Fresh homemade ice cream, waffle cones and waffle bowls. Plus all the cool wall art, what knots, and candy you can buy. Very hip up beat atmosphere where everyone of any age can have a good time. They even have games on the tables for you to play. A must see place.

This place is beyond awesome. The perfect stop after getting a nice dinner in the square. They make their own ice cream, so the choices are always different. The place has a cool atmosphere that fits people of all ages. They have board games that you can play while eating your ice cream, milk shake, or brownie.

Wonderful little store, this is definitely a great lunch break spot on top of a good place to relax with some ice cream in the afternoon. Very prompt, friendly service and good price for the size of sandwich they serve. Definitely try the white beans and ham as your side.I will definitely want to come back and try their breakfast items.

I was visiting family in Sulphur Springs Texas and decided to check out the town square and spotted this cute little place walking in looked at the items for sale (was just looking around so I didnt buy anything) and just thought the store was just awesome. Old fashioned ice cream shop meets modern day. They did an awesome job meshing to two ears.

Real good customer service and real good ice cream. My only complaint is the pricing since it’s pricier than your average scoop of ice cream. Other than that I would come again!

Love this place!! They not only serve some of the best flavors of ice cream, but also a full menu of things from breakfast to dinner and specialty drinks like iced coffees. If you have not been here, then I say go! Friendly service and big open space for games and eating. And dont forget to ask about their Flavor of the Week Ice Cream, which usually comes from a customer suggestion or an employee.

Staff was sooo nice and kind! We walked in right at 9pm when they were set to close and were served with no pressure and offered all sorts of flavors. The bourban vanilla was 🔥🔥. Pineapple Cheesecake was a close call too!
