They prepared a separate room for our large group. We laughed, conversed and ate a great meal. The staff was very friendly and courteous.

Im a big ol fat guy, and I couldnt mow through this crawfish boil. Super tasty, and we loved our fellow Texan waitress.

Great for home cooked meals for the men (and women) in your life. They get to know you by name and even what you like to drink and eat. Be it the buffet or from the menu. Service is amazing. Everyone is so very friendly. This way if your husband eats here for lunch you can cheat having to cook every night because they are guaranteed a well balanced meal. Oh plus dessert at no extra charge. And free refills. GREAT GREAT PLACE!! LOVE YOU GUYS!!!

Dont know if this recently changed hands, but the name was different. The food, however, was FANTASTIC. Why would anyone go to one of the neighboring fast food places when there is amazing food like this? The black eyed peas and the dirty rice were especially good and the fried chicken was amazing. I love meat loaf, and as good as everything else was, I was sad that I missed meat loaf day. DO NOT GO TO ONE OF THE FAST FOOD CHAINS. GO HERE. (Seriously, go here.)

Our first time to Louisiana, and I told my husband I wanted to stop and eat at a mom and pop type restaurant with Cajun and seafood. After going by many cities and not seeing anything that fit this, we managed to stumble upon this gem.This restaurant had that old down to earth southern hospitality vibe, friendly staff, wide variety on the menu, and received our food quickly. Highly recommend this if youre tired of the same ole same ole.

Buffet was good people were kind and the service was quick. I think the buffet was a poor choice after seeing meals ordered come out, they looked delicious. Buffet was a bit bland and needed salt, pepper, Cajun seasoning and hot sauce.

No seasoning on the food. Every small selection. Fifty dollars for two people to eat buffet. But the waitress do a great job thats the only reason they got one star!!!!!!

It was Good especially the gumbo & fried shrimp. Fried fish was not season like the shrimp, fried chicken looked burnt. Maybe next time will be better.

Sweet servers, yummy fried things (butterflied shrimp was delicious, and was kicking myself a little for not also having some catfish, which looked just as good), nice big salad bar (the way to my heart is a sweet-pickled green tomato!), cold case of tiny pies, and an impressive-looking dinner buffet. At the checkout counter they sell a nice array of their proprietary seafood sprinkle, crab boil, sweet-hot pickles, and (!) gluten free gumbo roux. We were glad an accident that stopped up I-10 gave us an excuse to try it - its just off the highway and one driveway up from a gas station, so it may become a regular pit stop on our Houston-New Orleans drive...hopefully next time well get to try their boudin and beignets!

The service was great, but I had difficulty finding anything from what the buffet offered that actually tasted good. And with a price tag of 23.95 for a buffet, I expect something to taste good.

Poor quality of food! They need to replace the oil that they fry the food in. All of the fried food including the shrimp was fried in old stale oil at too low of temperature soaking up the old stale grease. It was horrible to say the least!

Food was great and so was the customer service. The gumbo was almost as good as home.

My friend Order by phone for us and I went thru the drive thru to pick it up and a car was in front of me the lady waiting on the car ahead of me turn her head and saw I was behind the car she was waiting on they I pulled up and waited for a few minutes and then I ring the bell they said for service and it took them a few to come to the window and when I got back to my friends job to eat with her I told her you ordered me a loaded baked potato she said yes and the potato was cut and the fixings in very small plastic containers not even enoght to half cover a end of the potato I told my friend that is one of the restaurant not to order food from it againDrive thru Poor service even when you ring the bell like it says long wait for someone to show upAnd food not all that good like people sayBaked potato not loaded fixings in very small amount in very small containerWill never ever order from this place again

Im never that impressed with this place. Picked up a 5lb and 3lb order of boiled crawfish last night. NOT getting crawfish from there again, its basically hit or miss. This time they wouldnt peel for some reason. Ive never had this problem where the tail meat is actually stuck to the shell! The meat broke off and the end half had to be pulled away piece by piece. It was a waste of money. Usually their food is average...never anything to write home about. Will not be going back except for maybe boudin.
