This is a delightful shop that will thrill your senses! Smells so delightful as you walk into the front door of this old plantation house. The decor and atmosphere is charming as well as the two ladies who are the owners! Spend at least $15 and youll receive a free gift! I got a free pumpkin crunch candle that is an aroma treat!

What a gorgeous store. I wish I could take one of everything. The staff was friendly and welcoming too. We did request they make a suggestion to the owner. PLEASE, put some tables and chairs on the porch on maybe among the yard and serve coffee or something super simple (service from CiderHouse Pies maybe 😁) so we can relish in the beauty of the store and property longer!!!!

This is such a unique place! I love the atmosphere and will be coming back for gifts for friends and family! All of the candles smell amazing so it makes it hard to choose just one! There are so many great home decor pieces for the kitchen and home!

Very eclectic and completely immersive experience. Think turn of the century (20th) French Cottage meets village goods store.Every corner is graced with subtle Parisian notes, themed rooms invite even the casual glanscers to linger. I found myself lost in the storied history of the rustic French Oak cutting boards, hewn with knife and time.Wonderful staff, they could not have been happier to see us, and I look forward to my next visit.The Mercantile sits on a lovely property, I might wonder if the owner plans any catered events in to future? Parisian themed teas or brunches would blend so beautifully on the wraparound porch, or the sprawling lawn that surrounds the house.My hat is off to you, the owner of this establishment. Well done!
