Wonderful Selection, but will never return. I was exploring local antique shops with my family. As an antiques reseller, I’m always looking for new places to source for my shop. The reception was rude and not welcoming. I felt discriminated from the moment we entered the store. Not worth the visit.

I dont know how Ive gone this long without knowing this place was here. They have been open for 31 years. The vendors that are featured have all kinds of amazing finds. I spent 2 hours there. I would have stayed longer but they were closing. I have a few pieces for my home that I managed to walk away with. Cannot wait to go back!

Really fun. Just when you think youve seen everything there is another turn and another jam packed room full of great finds.

This place is a crowded maze of genuine antiques, ephemera, and junk. Its a typical multi-vendor antiques mall. Even though it is truly difficult to make sure you hit everything because of the tortuous layout its worth the effort. Most displays are clean, nicely laid out, well-lit, with almost everything labeled. The prices are at a metropolitan NYC level but the quality is good. I dont think there are many bargains, but give this place a try.

They have a large selection of antiques here, two floors full. We spent over an hour there and purchased a few things. I have to mention we felt uncomfortable because the woman who worked there kept following us around expecting us to shoplift I’m assuming, so I’m not sure we’ll be going back anytime soon.

Pretty decent size place with lots of stuff to look at. Almost everything is overpriced sadly though. Me and my boyfriend go antique shopping a lot and some things that we have seen in many other antique stores are way overpriced being sold here than any other place we have seen the items. Also, I asked for help from staff twice and the first woman who helped me was very friendly but the gentleman I asked for a price on an old doll seemed very un-talkative and it came across as if he was annoyed to be taking out the item I asked about the price because it was in the back of a case. Cool place and a big store with lots of stuff to look through but way too overpriced unfortunately.

Well appointed. Beautifully laid out. I found them to be overly helpful in that they watch you like a hawk. I can understand tho as Im sure they have their share of people that arent decent human beings but still.

I could just love in here. Such a cool place. Prices depend on the vendor. Some were super over inflated while others were great deals. It all depends. The place is huge with all these little winding halls and room. Pretty cool to explore. Loved it.

The usual assortment of antiques but at four times the price of every other antiques store I have ever been to. (Been doing antique stores for 40 years). Even for the common stuff you see at thrift stores. I know Summit is a pricey neighborhood but still. There was nothing e struck me as Ive never seen this before and I have to have this. hint: the mainstream stuff is in the first floor, it at least gets a little more interesting upstairs. But at the end of the day you are better off browsing Craigslist if you know what you want. Or even if you dont. Way easier and cheaper.

My daughter and I were loyal customers of The Summit Antiques Center. In the past two years since we discovered this place we visited often, sometimes even every other week and every time weve been there, whether its big or small, we would buy something to support this place. The staff there were always friendly, not only to us, but to our little dog. In fact, when we first started visiting the Summit Antiques Center, we assumed the place wasnt dog friendly, so one of us would stay outside with the dog while the other browsed, but one day we were invited to bring the dog inside and every since then weve always gone to the Summit Antiques Center with our dog. Each time we are there the staff would tell us how well behaved our dog was being. However, we visited the Antique Center this past Sunday, and the usual staff was not there. We went in and browsed the shop as we always did, with our dog, and we saw a piece that we liked and as we were going up to the counter to ask about the piece, we were scolded by the woman behind the counter for bringing the dog in to the shop. The womans tone was rude and condescending, and feeling unwelcome we left the shop. Our dog was well behaved that day, as always, and we did nothing to incite the sudden change in attitude towards us and our dog. Of course we understand if establishments are not dog friendly and we always try to respect that, however, we only made a habit of bringing our dog along on our visits to the Summit Antique Center AFTER we were INVITED by the staff to bring our dog inside. If the rule has changed, we dont mind if someone politely informs us of the rule and we will of course respect it, but we expect to be treated with respect in return. It is never okay to speak to customers in a rude, or condescending tone, or to scold a customer when theyve done nothing wrong. To make matters worse, my daughter tried to reach out to the Summit Antiques Center regarding this event. The Summit Antiques Center is very active on Facebook and in a gesture of good will, my daughter sent a Facebook message to their Facebook page two days ago. The message was marked as read right away, but we received no response. My daughter had hopped to clear the air, since we had still wanted to continue patronizing this business, and she hoped to have a chance to discuss this issue privately, but her attempts to reach out to the Summit Antiques Center were completely ignored. We now see that this business does not value or appreciate their customers.
