I brought my car here because the Audi dealer quoted $2k for brakes and Midas quoted $700-900 over the phone. When I arrived they ended up charging me $2,172.69. Never took responsibility for misquoting me on the phone. My first 2 experiences here had been positive before this one. Make sure any quotes are verified before trusting them.

Weird just took husband out of heart hospital and noticed I had flat tire. They were nice enough to take me in right away, but the mechanic told us we had a bent rim and did not balance two days later my husband took car to Nissan for service and we told them bout the tire rim they removed the tire and showy my husband there was no bent rim but something to balance tire along rim/ leaking air againI appreciate them helping us but not lying to us bout the rim

New management. Have used for years. Now new manager. Will never go back. Rude and no skill with dealing with long time “ valued customers. Price now higher than a dealer. Stay away😡😡

The service was good. Not the best price for a battery change but it was a quick turnaround.I’m super upset at the condition they left my car. Oil/grease stains all over the floor mat and door panel. Take 2 mins to put the paper down! Doesn’t show respect for the customer.

I was working in Northern NJ and my car died on me. Had my car towed to this Midas. Ends up I had a bad wiring job on my alternator from another Midas in Woodbury, NJ. They refused to fix it since it was done at another Midas. On a positive side, They were kind enough to charge my battery to make it down to the Midas in Southern NJ. free of charge. Thank You

Based on this location’s stellar reviews, I took a chance. I am glad I did! I took my car in for a check up and it was looked at and shocks and struts were completed in the same day! They honored my online coupon and I saved $185!! A couple weeks later, I still heard a weird sound in my car’s rear; I took it back and they found and fixed the issue free of charge!! Kedar was very polite, understanding, and has excellent customer service as well as his fellow co-workers. I will definitely return here for any services.

Not only did they not charge me for diagnosis time that wound up amounting to no work required, when I did need their help on an exhaust system for an older car, they worked with me to find a third-party supplier, let me ship directly to them, and only charged me for the install labor. The crew there understands customer service and it will bring me back any time I need their services.

Ken was extremely helpful and polite. He never BS around with the price of labor or parts and was very straight forward. If you are nearby I couldnt recommend this shop more.

Arrived at Midas Summit at 8am on the 28th July 2020 with a dangerously flat tyre. They said can you wait til this afternoon? I said can you do it now?No there are four other cars ahead of you in the bays? (all dropped off the day before)As I left the three staff came out for a smoke break.Rather than smoking couldnt you fix my tyre now as Im the only driver actually present?Im the manager, shes the assistant manager and that aint happening!I nursed the car to Dr Falcos who repaired the tyre within an hour and were sympathetic, kind and efficient.$27 too and no up-selling!

I use my car for work, and thought it would be in the shop at least a week. Midas did great work, they were nice, communicated great, fixed everything and whats more is I had my car back within 24 hours. Thank you so much :)

I tell that I just want a tire rotation because I know that my tires are still good enough.When I picked up my car, NO tire rotation. They didnt want to rotate for security reason...Ill do that myself.INSPECTION : If inspection was done properly, they should AT LEAST have seen that air filter has to be changed after a year, that battery is not good after a long winter. I guess NO Inspection had been done... on these parts.Ill do that myself.Total bill: $57 tax. inc.My advice : Used to be good place with honest professionals. you wont see me there anymore.

Took my car here for a simple oil change. Picked up my car to find out they broke the antenna off my car including the mount that attaches to my car. Of course, they didnt bring it to my attention - had to bring it to theirs. After two weeks of back and forth they dont want to do anything and say they will fix which they have never done and dont have any experience with. Will never go back!

Good service but expensive

This is an update to my review below. I recently took a car in for some noise. They did a great job. The mechanic missed something and fortunately it was caught by the Manager. Because it was not in my original quote, he did the work and did not charge me the full additional amount. I was not expecting this!! Given the impact of Covid19 on our business and the unexpected expense of the repairs, I was pretty low yesterday. When I found out what he found and fixed at no additional cost today, I had a lump in my throat. The manager is Kidar, and I am a loyal client of this Midas. Thank you, Kidar and Midas.I been taking all my cars in for regular service and repairs over the past two years. They have been professional, timely (I do plan ahead though), and reasonably priced. I switched to them because Pat who manages the place is amazing. They have saved me $$$s. In one instance they saved me hundreds over the previous mechanic I was using in Berkeley Heights. Do they occasionally ask for extra time b/c they are slammed? Yes, but very rarely. Ive occasionally asked to see the parts that need replacing before the work is done and never had a problem or a bad attitude. They always take the time to explain what is happening. I could not be happier.

Literally the worst experience at an automotive repair facility in my 30 years of owning a vehicle. Arrogant, rude, abusive, utilized bait and switch on me. Eventually someone from Midas corporate HQ in FL will realize that this location needs a complete overhaul. STAY AWAY!

Do not give any of these midas locations your business .They grossly over charge and take advantage . go shop around with local garages that are more competent and wont price gouge. Straight crooks and have no remorse even when you call them out .Mother got her took her g35x to get a y pipe installed and charged her 550.00 for a generic replacement part. Manager says thats the price and just doesnt care. Do your research on any part. An infinity own replacement is less than they charged btw.Ive never written any negative reviews about a business .Also my credibility comes from being a a previous Car mechanic and after market parts sales rep. I know the industry.

They wont respect your time. Arrogant and totally unprofessional. Pricey for no good service. Making appointment is a joke! They wont care about it. Take my advice go somewhere else.

Made an appointment on Friday for an oil change at 1 PM Monday because I had to go to work at 3 PM. Showed up at 12:45 PM on Monday, got checked in, and was told the oil change would take about an hour. Found at at 2 PM that they hadnt even brought my car into the garage - again, for a 1 PM appointment made days in advance - so I left then and there. Absolute waste of time.

They couldnt do tire rotation on Tesla

Watch out for the classic oil scam at this location. Theyll mention that they only had the more expensive blend after your car is serviced. Not a one star because they were timely. Just be wary.
