(Bad return policy) This used to be my favorite shop, I would take all my friends here and go to all the shops. But last time I was in I bought a roller lip gloss. The kind you would get in the 90s and 80s, for my daughter. It was supposed to be bubblegum but it had a old makeup taste and smelled weird. Before leaving the store, I told the cashier and ask if I could return it because I think the product was old. She was very nice but said she had to follow the shop owners policy. Which is no returns on personal items (lotions and perfume included). It’s sad because I was so disappointed I just ordered some online at a certain company that starts with an A, 6 for 10$ and they smelled and tasted great, plus 100% return policy. The one I got there was way overpriced 10$! For one (only realized until after purchasing). I know I’m usually going to spend more in store, but I know I’m paying more for the experience and customer service; but not the case here. I’d much rather support a small business, but unfortunately there’s a lot of local shops with not return policies. If your going to compete; you need to think long term return customers, not short term sales. Also if you read other reviews apparently you can only get store credit for any returned items.

Great little store! A bit on the pricy side but good quality products. I love hockey and I was delighted when I found a pair of hockey socks there. Hockey socks? Yep! They have a sock collection there. Good service.

This place is the best! Great shop with something to offer anyone. The owners are so friendly and helpful. We love going there.

I have shopped at this store for nearly two decades. I love supporting small businesses and this local store was one of my favorites until I saw their attitudes and behaviors on mask wearing. The owner and her employee were wearing their mask incorrectly, under their nose. The store was crowded, I felt anxious and wanted to leave the store when I saw a nearby customer had pulled her mask down to her chin. I was in the middle of my transaction so I had no choice but to stay inside the store. I called out the customer for not wearing her mask. The owner immediately came to that customers defense by saying “not everyone can wear a mask”. That was clearly not the case in this situation. Maybe the owner did not see the person had a mask she chose to lower to her chin upon entering a crowded, small, poorly ventilated space. No excuse. Where was her concern for the safety of customers like myself.

A great gift store if a person likes gourmets foods, kitchen gadgets and accessories

I ordered some basic kitchen supplies online during the quarantine. During the lock down Ive been doing extra cooking and baking and realized I was missing some essential kitchen tools. I also wanted to support a local small business. I got free shipping (49.99+) and the package came quickly! Everything is high quality and is as described. Im looking forward to going to their shop in person in the future.

Id love to give the store 5 stars, but so crowded its over whelming. I do love the store/owner however I wish they only carried items you cant get at box stores. Carry the latest great tools, bowls, baking pans.. This store could have people coming from all over. I go here to find those special items, supporting local is very important.. The best cookie sheets USPAR bought from there are AMAZING, not stick, cleans easy, heats amazing, everyone getting those also now for Xmas, need more sizes Products like those special pieces, sets you apart from over stores. My opinion only, rid inventory OXO.. :(

This has got to be one of the best kitchen stores in the South Sound! If it’s a kitchen gadget - they probably have it in stock! They also have old time candy, candles, teapots, and novelty gifts.The staff is knowledgeable and very friendly.This is a locally owned husband/wife team shop which should be supported. Truly one of downtown Sumner’s gems!

Always liked this store and hadn’t been in since Covid-19 but unfortunately during our most recent trip Tuesday September 29th 2020 their employee Mary Alice did not have her mask on the entire time- it was just hanging off her ear. Saw her help a poor customer without a mask, and then she stood behind the check out desk talking to another employee (who was wearing a mask) with no mask. It was also crowded and they were doing nothing to limit how many were in the shop unlike other nearby stores. We quickly left and won’t be back.

This is always a fun place to check out. They have kitchen supplies along with candles and soaps, fun socks and knick knacks, and there are candies and local treats. The staff is always super friendly and you always see something new everytime you go in

Great place. Spent an hour discovering things that I didnt know that I needed! High quality stuff and a great selection. The place has a great mood and the staff was very helpful. So many different area is represented, from cards, 36 different kinds of ramekins, candles, Linens, candy, cookware, and I learned the difference between a pinch and a tad measurements. ; ) Downtown Sumner on Main Street along with the other cool shops to wander through. By the time we left the street we had consumed coffee, Crepes, and found a lovely shop with huge warm cinnamon rolls dripping in goodness.

Its an awesome gift shop, there towel and socks made me laugh, there customer service was great they knew there stuff.

The BEST selection of candle tarts around! So many scents, brands and types (wax/soy) to choose from and they are very good about keeping popular ones stocked. So many other goodies to find in there as well: kitchen supplies, decor & holiday items, unusual and unique gifts, cards and snacks! One of my favorite places to stop on Main Street for sure!

Love the owners! I came in looking for a specialty item. It was out of stock. A company rep happened to be there, and had with her, a sample of the same product that her company carries. Not normally carried, the owners not only ordered one for me, but a few more to compliment the vast expanse already in stock. Now THAT is customer service!

Great local store that has everything for the home chef. The shop keepers are very helpful and friendly too. I was amazed to go there for the first time to see the store busy and filled with shoppers.

We stopped by today and it is an amazing store. The left side is kitchen, the right side is everything you can imagine: candles, cards, gifts, refrigerator magnets ( we bought one that said When words are both true and kind they can change the world. The back of the store has tons of signs. And best of all, they were open on a Monday when a considerable number of historic district shops are closed.

Cute little shop, lots of things to keep your interest and spend to much time browsing.will be back for some of the unique items.

Oh geez, if you havent been here before, you should. Great finds and I love supporting this local business. A little over-priced but I dont mind because it a a local place. Also, make sure you like your purchase, they are a little weird on returns, no cash back just exchanges. Again, I dont mind, theyre trying to compete with all the big boys.

Ladies were so helpful. This store is awesome.

This store has a lot of neat products. How ever I have to say that during our visit an older lady and her worker made us feel completely uncomfortable when we were there, their eyes never left us. My husband and I work for the union it was nasty out side so we were a little dressed down, due to the rain, but we make good money. Its my birthday today and we got profiled as theifs! We felt so upset to the point were I put each cooky cutter on the counter so they would stop hovering. I thought this would make them feel more comfortable, but they still hovered and staired. Sadly we will not be returing. My husband bought our stuff early and I didnt even finish shopping. I appreciate his feelings and felt the same. Next time please dont judge people its not nice and made us feel so low congradulations on your customer service.

When you go to return an item, have the receipt and all the tags attached and you cant get a refund. Your offered a gift card instead. Never thought to ask about return policy when you have everything to properly return the item. Will think twice about buying from there again.
