Looks to me like the shop is writing its own 5 star reviews! Beware. Service folks act like prima donas. Promise work they dont perform. Do yourself a favor and go nextdoor to Sun Devil or to Joes on Westgate. I sure will next time.

Learned a lesson about going to a tire shop for an oil change. Bad idea.... To be specific, they said I needed a $1200 repair and new tires. I went to Discount Tire, who said my tires and front end was OK. The low tire light was on when I went in for the oil change. I knew it was coming from the spare, SC Tire said theyd take care of it. Light was still on when I picked it up, service tech said I needed to drive it 10 miles for the light to go out. I did, light stayed on....took it to Discount Tire... spare was low. On the positive said, the staff and meg seems to be nice guys, but I wasnt looking for a friend. Good luck if you use Sun City Tire in SCW!

Unlike other places, I made an appointment, showed up on time, and was not kept waiting. They had my car in the bay within minutes of arriving.The staff is extremely professional and friendly. Quality service from very professional and highly skilled people

Got all five tires replaced this morning-reasonable cost. Their attention to detail seems pretty good - I was pleasantly surprised when they repaired one of the wheel caps which had a crack. They conducted a comprehensive review of the undercarriage and brakes, nothing needed to be done and they were straight up about it.The principal reason for this review is simply that one lady in the waiting room doesn’t have access to a computer. She drives from Phoenix to Sun City West for complete automotive service here specifically and has done so for years. Seems, as a “ Young lady“, she has, “ as a woman, been taken advantage “ numerous times by automobile service companies. She has absolute confidence in Sun City Tire and Auto. Another “Young lady” has been coming to this establishment for 30 years and has been tremendously satisfied, in her own words.The communication network in Sun City West is something akin to an octopus. If one person is dissatisfied, at least eight other people know about it, and you can do the math from there. I think the positive reviews about Sun City Tire and Auto are honest, accurate and well-intended. Cannot address any “negative“ reviews-everyone in the waiting room was extremely complementary.And finally, after all that said, the coffee was pretty good!

I live nearly an hour drive from Sun Cities Tire and Auto, but will make the drive for the service i get from them. its nice to go someplace where you know they are not going to tell you you need work done that you dont need.

Used this shop to diagnose a leak from an unknown source. We thought it might be a hose as something was leaving a small puddle beneath engine. We were called and told we needed a new water pump for $975. So, work was authorized and completed end of business the next day. Two days later the leak reappeared in the same spot on the garage floor. Leak looked like it was greenish both times so returned the car to shop. Ten minutes after dropping off the car we were called and told the car now needed a new air conditioning compressor for $1100+. Went back to the shop and discussed situation with service manager. He said they’d missed the A/C leak on original inspection. Told that the water pump had been bad but the whole process seemed like they just wanted to gouge us. Refused to have them replace A/C compressor. No restitution was offered. Service manager was very condescending and arrogant. Will not return there. Feel they are running a dishonest business and will be notifying AAA and Better Business Bureau.

I took my truck in for an A/C check up (free with coupon) due to the fact that it would take at least 10 minutes for things to cool down just to a tolerable temp. It would never reach cold temperatures like it use to. Aaron ( the Service Manager) came in and started to tell me what he had found and said “Why don’t you just come on out. It will be easier to show you.” I immediately thought “Uh oh. This isn’t going to be good.” But I couldn’t have been more wrong. He showed me a seal that he said might be something to keep an eye on but as of now it is fine. In his opinion I would be fine with just a basic A/C service because the pressure was low and I would need about a pound of Freon to take care of my issue. He also said that he was going to clean up the seal area and put some dye in the system which would help to identify any leaks at the seal should it become an issue. He didn’t try to push any unnecessary service on me “as a precaution”.While I was waiting for the work to be done Aaron impressed me even more when he came in to talk to an elderly lady about her check engine light issue. He asked her if her car was having an issue starting. She seemed a little confused by the question but instead of taking advantage of her Aaron said that all tests showed that there was no issue and it might just be a glitch. He was going to reset the system and that if the light came on again to bring it in and they would look deeper but for now he didn’t see any reason for any more work. Wow! Impressive!When I was paying the very reasonable amount I thanked Dennis (the Service Advisor) for their great service and told him that I really appreciated them. There was a nice lady standing close by and she said “Isn’t it nice to find a place that you can trust. It use to be that if a shop saw a lady coming in they would totally take advantage of them.” Dennis replied that he tells his people that “If a lady comes in, you treat them like you would treat your wife, your mother or your grand mother.” I’m in a service/sales industry and have always been a firm believer in that theory and his vocalization of his belief only made me appreciate them more.When I was driving home I actually got cold with the A/C turned on low.This all happened after taking my truck to a different shop for the same issue (with coupon for a free checkup) where they said everything was fine. Hmmmmm.Thank you Dennis and Aaron for your wonderful and professional service and attitudes and thank you Sun Cities Tire and Auto for hiring such honorable employees.

I had great customer service. The customer service guy was very entertaining. He had us all talking and laughing.

These guys seem very ethical. I went in to get my differential oil changed and they told me that I should not get it changed because it might cause further problems and then they referred me to a differential specialist. Thus far they have had my truck up on the rack twice and give me great advice yet have not charged me a penny. I am looking forward to when I can have them actually do something on my truck that I get to pay them for!... :-)

First encounter was miserable because of the counter guy. He wasnt there when I returned for my appointment and the appt went fast and was informative. Great deal too. Nice guys.

I got a flat tire on my way to dentist. A tow truck took my car to this place to get a tire. I had my daughter who was in pain from just getting braces and my 1 year old. When I got there I told them I wanted a new tire. The person in front looked at me like I was requesting something out of this world. I had to tell them again, he said they were out of tires. It’s a tire shop and they are of tires???? Didn’t offer water or anything else, I was so disappointed. We called another Uber and went to another place. Horrible

I realize theyve won lots of AAA awards but every time I took my car there, they seemed to find some huge (read: costly) problem to be fixed or something would go wrong within a week or two of having it back from the shop. Majority of the guys working there are very nice; one or two maybe shouldnt work customer service - to put it kindly.

I found, by anothers recommendation, a place I tell everyone about. I was also aware of their commitment to community service organizations. But I have never had, or heard, of anything short of rave comments on their quality of service, speed of service and pricing that disgraces dealership maintenance. They will never pad a bill and often hold off on requested work if they deem it unnecessary after reviewing their analysis with customer. One of the real good guys. Please take note.

Went in for an oil change. Asked them to check my brakes. Told me I was down to the backing plate on my brake pad and my rotors were shot. That I shouldnt drive it. I never heard my brakes grinding, which when your digging into the rotors thats what it sounds like. Said I needed new brake pads on these back and new rotors...They wanted 360$. Told them I didnt have it to put my car back together. When I left I noticed my car didnt have the power it did before I pulled into their shop....my uncle gave me this car before he passed...he took immaculate care...It was always serviced.never an issue....now suddenly I have power loss..as soon as I leave their shop..took it to another shop. They said...brake pad on one side was getting low...and one rotor needed to be turned...200$...get my brakes done...go to work the next day...Which, is today....driving home its 12:30am...the loss of power situation now cause the engine light to come on....It was struggling to go....wondering what they did to my car because I refused to give them the work....I will find out. They will take advantage of women and over charge you..beware.

If I could give them zero stars, I would. I made an appointment for oil change for $14.99. They charged me $37+ because I needed special oil. They told me they rotated the tires but they did not. One of our tires was marked and we could tell it had not been moved. BIG RIPOFF!!!!!

They will do the work you asked for and not look for unnecessary repairs.
