Great place to do business, the staff is friendly, helpful and low pressure. Service is great as well

About 2 years ago I purchased a new golf cart powered by gas because I was tired of being mindful of the amount of charge left in my batteries. This is my 3rd cart, of which 1 was new and one rebuilt. Living in a retirement community and no longer being able to golf its only transportation. After the first year the front tires had to be replaced, worn smooth in the front. About a year ago something in the frame broke and there was an extensive amount of parts replaced and repairs done. Now the front tires are wearing out again and there is a very significance bounce in the front end while just driving down the street. I took ownership of this cart in October of 2017 and now it seems to be completely worn out. How can this be possible just living in a retirement and being limited to the amount of there. I would definitely recommend anyone looking to buy to look elsewhere. This cart is either a lemon or just a piece of junk, DONT BUY.

Walked into today 100% ready to purchase a cart and wasnt even acknowledged by the only guy there on the phone. Walked around for about 10 min checking different cards out still w no acknowledgment what so ever. Guess cause I too many tattoos for this douchy salesman. Your loss....I went over to icon and grabbed a cart. Maybe next time you wont judge a book by its cover guy.

Just purchased a new Yamaha Golf Cart from Desert Golf Carts and was and am very please with all the people I met. All my questions were answered quickly and I felt it was a win/win experience for myself and Desert. I look forward to my new cart and relationship with Desert Golf Carts.

Be careful, once you write the check and pay $11,000+, customer service goes out the window.After this original post and my one star rating, I was contacted by the salesman. We worked out all of my issues except one, which was probably my fault in the beginning. I will take care of it myself.I feel comfortable in changing my rating from one star to four stars now and if our recent interactions had taken place originally, I would rate the customer service even higher.

I have done business with Desert for about 10 years. They are the only Yamaha dealer in town but really try to make people happy. They support local charities and that is what I like and why I do business with them. They are a one price dealership (which I dont like) but everyone is treated fairly. Just wish I couple get a lower price than anyone else. Otherwise, very good with customers. Dont understand negative reviews.They have a new incredible gas car that is quiet. Which is what I just purchased.

This place is beyond GREAT! Their service manager, George is a miracle worker. Hes so thorough and can fix anything. I wouldnt buy a cart from anywhere else!

They treat their customers right. Good service and reasonable prices. For years I used the service that came to my house. It took me a long time to realize that I was paying way to much for service that wasnt that good
