Hard to find things in safely. Most of the services is lousy the only one to help me was the cashier when I went up to her and asked her for help. She right away helped.

Kinda small but its always clean and good for a quick in and out.

I love shopping at Safeway as much as I love working there.

This store is always very clean and mostly stocked. The employees are all very polite and very helpful. The four stars are because quite a bit of there items can be pricey. If you dont do their online sales your bill bill be a bit high. Other then that I do recommend this safeway. I shop there along but never without doing their online sales first.

Im wheelchair bound because of covid. At least for no longer than I have to be. Was easy to get around with help of a friend pushing the grocery cart around. Easy checkout. Ive been there before but not in a wheelchair. Ill be back.

For a place that prides themselves on customer service they sure would benefit from helping with a smile from time to time. The old lady greater at the door reminds me of Cruella Devil! Ha! No but for real she is nasty.... Super bad attitude!

I usually can only get to the store during the last 2 hours of it being open. There are the same 2 employees that end up rushing me or my fiancee out the door as soon as theres 30 mins left, they start calling over the speakers and even send someone to come give a in person notice. If Ive needed a few things and I know I will be in and out in 10mins or less, I still get the look when I walk in. I dont know why these people need to be out the door themselves the minutes the store closes, but their rudeness about it makes me almost not come here anymore, if they werent the only grocery store in my neighborhood. Other than this uncomfortableness there are other very nice employees and they usually do have what I need.

Produce looks bad. Potatoes, onions, spoiled. Fruit is not ripe. Bakery has gone down hill. Staff is no longer friendly Nd if I dont sack my own groceries I end up with crushed food, deli coleslaw all over the bag, bags way to heavy. I am so disappointed in Safeway. The last 6 months you have managed to go down hill bad. I will be taking my shopping needs else where. Safeway on Del Web and bell rd.

Good store, been going here, for years.The one thing theyre lacking is service.They have food, and a clean store.But there is no effort made by anyone there to help anybody. I have grown old over the years, many years in Customer Service,and no one ever offers help to the car, lifting heavy groceries, etc, visits or sees how they can help.They stand around a lot visiting with each other, do not seem to see us .Just out of hospital, web site not working for home de delivery.No offer of help, just hanging out with each other, in store and parking lot, while I struggled getting it all in the car.They watched, visited about their jobs, schedules etc. Strolled away.

Bakery and deli options here are great alternatives to the local drive thru restaurants.

First time in for a couple things and will return to try out the variety of choices offered.

I dont usually shop at Safeway cause theyre way pricier then Frys...but they have these Massive Sub sandwiches for $7 and you can get at least 4-5 decent sandwiches out of it!! Score

Old and dirty. They have very little variety and no help. Went to the deli and it was 5:00 p.m and lady said the deli was closed that she had to leave and they dont have enough help in the store. Very sad....This is a very poor representation of Safeway.. I loved to shop at Safeway but this store is poorly managed and I will not shop them again

Good products and fresh produce but the price for the products there are a little high. All in all a good place to shop from time to time

A great convenience store to shop in. I shop there weekly. Other cuts of meat are great and when cooked very tender. The story shop in is a gem. Hardly ever long check out lines and very very great customer service in store

I like this store. They always have what I came into the store for.

I went to get a tomahawk steak, since I had seen them there last week, and I was told that they havent been able to get some in a while, yet I was there last week and they did. This was very disappointing since I know that this cut can easily be done there by a butcher. So maybe there wasnt a butcher there🤔 in the meat department. The produce department was slim pickings so I tried to find someone in produce...nope. I was in the store over an hour and was trying to scan sale items. But no wifi. Now I have ALWAYS had problems with wifi in a Safeway, but an hour🙄. In that hour I didnt get even an acknowledgement from what I believe were two male managers. This stores only saving grace were a young man, my cashier Jonathan, who was courteous and helpful. I did not catch the name of the young lady who bagged my items but I could see her smile right through the mask. Finally, I need to mention Andrea in the liquor department who went ABOVE and beyond to assist me not only in the liquor department but in others areas. The prior mentioned people should be commended for their great customer service.Im sure want I am writing will be in vain since it will just be deleted or swiped over by the company, but I feel both the good and the bad should be noticed.

This review is solely based on the bakery. I got ly daughters 1st Birthday cake there recently. Not only was it beautiful it tasted amazing! Mind youI dont really care for cake. Everyone was still talking about it the next day!

I ended up saving 62% off the bill with all of the Half Off coupons I loaded.Half price amish country butter, english muffin break, pineapple juice, cheese, tortillas, tortilla chips, with $0.88 strawberry clam shells and a $5 off $5 deal.Paying attention can pay off

Great Safeway. The only thing that bothers me is their signage states face masks are required to shop in our store but not everyone is wearing a mask. I see that more at this safeway than others. I get my meds here so it is usually a quick in and out. When I do shop for groceries, I go early in the mornings. Otherwise you have a hard time parking and wait in lines to check out.

Perhaps it was just a bad day. Many sale items were sold out, not enough help at the deli, and long check out lines. There seems to always be a problem getting sale prices between click or clip digital only, and weekly sale items. I do not see a reason for needing both the store card and downloading coupons. There are never enough open check outs. At least 8 out of 10 times the cashier will miss one or more of your coupons. Then, of course you have to come back to the store and stand in line at the customer service desk hoping someone will see you and come to assist. I noticed alot of empty spaces on shelves. I am a little uncomfortable seeing employees who work behind the counter outside smoking wearing their apron and mask. I did not notice any hand sanitizer stations. The employees are usually very nice

Never has ad items in stocks. NeverWas there at 9am and no corn no help and no chicken. Happens every time.

I love safeway, but I can never get my for u coupons to work. I bought frozen veggies were supposed to be 3 for $5. I got charged reg. Price. Bought 4 marie calendar bowls were on 4 u coupon for 2.49 and got charged reg price. I showed the cashier and he said unless he had a coupon he couldnt fix it. Guess Ill have to try and figure this out.

Wow! In the store for 15 minutes and the only employees I saw were the 4 millennials hiding inside by the shopping carts. Back isles were clogged with boxes of inventory though Im pretty sure they close at 10. Then not a single checkout lane open so we had to self check out. If I wanted to do all this myself I would have gone to WinCo and saved my money. Aweful! Wish I could give zero stars.

The lady at customer service was very helpful putting the store app on my phone. Now when I shop and use a digital coupon I give the cashier my phone number, Its all done. Thank you Safeway!

Great customer service, clean and wonderful atmosphere

Really like this Safeway. Ive always had good interactions with the employees, usually have fun conversations with the cashiers. Considering that Sun City is much slower than Surprise, I can usually get in and out pretty quickly. The cleanliness is always top notch.

Meat market is amazing!

Its was nice to go into a store that wasnt packed we were able to find what we needed and get out quickly.

First visit to a Safeway ever, in comparison to other retail stores I felt the prices where allot higher but over all the experience was amazing!

Still busy during this Covid-19 outbreak. But, their foot, meat, and seafood are still great, as well as their worker. Polite, professional, and very helpful. Not much for cleaning supplies right now, but what store is fully stocked with cleaning supplies.

Crowded, unprepared customers who dont know how to use card readers, want cashier to peruse filters and scan coupons. Need more cashiers and lines exclusively for customers with small purchases.

I had an appointment to get a Covid-19 vaccine and they put down the wrong vaccine name, and by the time we had driven 44 miles to Sun City they told us that I couldn’t be vaccinated since they accidentally put the youth vaccine that they didn’t have, so all they had was the adult one that I can’t have because I’m under 18.
