I love Chris sales! Theres always something new and interesting to discover at each one. Items are priced fairly, and his employees are friendly too. You can tell they appreciate whats inside the house.You can also tell that Chris gets to know his regulars as well as new customers, making sure to catch up with them and crack a few jokes here and there. He truly makes the sales feel welcoming and enjoyable. His personable nature is something that I feel is sorely missing at other sales that I frequent. It really counts for something. Thanks Chris!

I bought items from this company in a online auction. They didnt send me two of my items and two other items arrived broken. They also charged a super high amount for shipping and did it without asking me. I emailed them and someone emailed me back, I have no idea who it is because they havent introduced themselves. This person has not addressed why two of my items were not shipped or said anything about the two items that are broken. They did say they didnt overcharge for shipping. I called UPS and I believe with the information I have gathered they did overcharge. I feel my money was stolen from me. I hope this saves someone from making the same mistake I made. Stay away from this company.UPDATE: Chris states in his response to my Google review that they look at shipping as an extra service... When you auction items all over the United States and it clearly states shipping is available, that is not an EXTRA SERVICE... In response to your statement saying when I send you pictures of the broken items... I did that and you havent refunded me, dont try and make it sound as if I havent done what I am supposed to do. I will now post the broken photos of the items since you want to make implications. $150 in shipping cost for broken items is ridiculous. I have shipped items overseas and have never paid that much. This was a domestic delivery and it was not priority mail. When I sent my complaint, every correspondence I received from you was rude till I made this google review, then you decided to write like a professional.

Only posting one star as NO star was not possible!!Having to sell the family home and all its contents is very stressful. Even more stressful when the estate sales people wont communicate with you! We have had 5 (FIVE!!!!) appointments set up with Chris, who pulled the dont show, dont call and every excuse you can think of when we finally ARE able to get ahold of him. He has strung us along for weeks now and now we have NO choice but to try to sell the contents ourselves due to time constraints. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! You will only be utterly disappointed in humanity!!!

These sales are always exciting! Ive bought a wide range of quality items, including beautiful furniture, dishware, jewelry, art, and clothes. I always find something fun and unexpected as well. The sales are very well organized, which makes the shopping experience relaxed and enjoyable.Chris is very friendly - getting to know him at the sales has been an added joy. His knowledge of the items is very impressive. I never miss an opportunity to go to one of the sales Chris puts on as there is always something unique to be found.

I started going to estate sales a few years ago. Bennett and Roelef’s have seemed to be the best! I always find something and have actually picked up some neat treasures in the past. The prices have always been great! That is one of the things I mostly appreciate about their sales vs others. Even took my mom and aunt to a sale and they ended up taking home lovely items. I found the overall service and experience with the Bennett & Roelofs estate sale to be top notch. They seem to know their stuff when it comes to pricing and the handling of crowds. It is a difficult business, but they make it all seem a smooth, well oiled business. I like the quality of their sales and friendliness of the staff.

This is the first time I bid. I was a little confused in the beginning, but then watched the tutorials and that helped a lot. I will have to see how things go when I pick up purchases. So far so good. I dont know how much I will use this kind of on line sale in that you have to trust the condition of the item in a photo. However, it does feel safer in these times to do this on line.

I enjoy both their in person and online auction sales. I think the prices they start most auctions at are fair. For example, there was recently an All Clad brand pan and the starting bid was like $3. If you know quality, you know that those are VERY expensive pans. So, fair indeed. I didnt win the auction, but I appreciate that the starting price was so fair.

Bennett & Roelofs Estate Service provides great professional service for both buyers as well as estate owners. I purchased some items from a recent sale, and was pleased with the communication and customer service.

Everything changed throughout the whole sale process. We were originally supposed to meet with Chris the owner-he sent an associate instead. We were supposed to have had the sale in August of this year- Chris pushed it back two weeks into September and then wanted to push it even further out into September. We rearranged our work schedules numerous times to meet with Chris personally and on two occasions he never showed up or even contacted us. They were supposed to have prices on items at the sale- that didn’t happen either. Never sold or promoted any of the bigger items like furniture and appliances.They were supposed to have listed some of the more valuable items online as Chris said that they would bring in more money- that didn’t happen either and sold them in a lot rather than individually and sold items that we could have gotten a lot more money for than what he sold them for. ie-war bond posters from WW2. Also, with the itemized listing of items sold that we received two weeks after the sale which we had to keep requesting, when it was promised to us 5 days after the sale, we noticed items that we knew sold never appeared on the sale listing and when questioned about it, Chris never responded back. Basically Chris, the owner, made a lot of promises that he never kept. Also, more than two weeks after the sale I had to deliver his 10 tables back to him as he would not come to pick them up. Hind sight being 20/20.... I would not use this company again. No common courtesy and not professional.

Well, here we go again....I have posted a review here before which was 100% truthful. The owner of this company sold some priceless family carvings without our consent during a recent estate sale. We were so upset and tried to work with Bennett & Roelofts based on a promise that we would get all of them back. We pulled our earlier post based on that promise. Sadly, when you make a deal with bad business people it will always come back and bite you. Well only one of the three was returned and that was so contentious that we simply just gave up trying....All I can say is beware of hiring this company....It will not go well for you.

We decided on Bennett and Roelofs Estate Service LLC out of Sun Prairie, Wisconsin. We didn’t want a conventional estate sale and privacy was paramount. Mr. Bennett was able to catalog, market and sell 95% of the items within a two month period. We were very pleased with proceeds realized, communication and professionalism. My wife and I highly recommend. Hats off to a great job! You pulled it off what I thought would be impossible.

Chris and his staff were amazing in what otherwise was a very difficult time for me. I lost my parents within a very short time period so I was faced with the daunting and emotional task of dealing with the things people accumulate in a 60 year marriage. Chris was with me as I opened closets, cabinets and dressers. He was patient and kind as we developed a plan to keep, sell or donate. He is funny yet professional and I’m pretty sure that without him I’d still be staring at a household full of items . As an only child this task felt not only overwhelming but heartbreaking. Over the last six years Ive made a number of transactions with Chris Bennett. Mostly furniture. Im not a professional shopper, but I love estate sales. These people are extremely rude. Went to their estate sale and was treated poorly by one of their representatives, as was my elderly mother. Also they were eating smelly food that stunk up the place which made it unpleasant to be there. I would not recommend.

Very slow or no response to calls.No Show. Had an appointment setup with a no show received a message an hour before scheduled time while we were out of our home state saying it would need to be canceled. Unfortunate for us we took the day off from work and had to travel 2 1/2 hours one way and we were almost 2 hours into our trip. Chris knew we had to travel from far away as we stated this numerous times.When we called to see if a time later in the day would work we received no answer.I cannot recommend this compaby.Deaths in the family and estate sales are stressful and no person should have to tolerate this.

The staff are not only helpful but very personable. I am always pleased with the way it is setup making navigating quick and easy.

Had an appointment for today, Tues 7/25/17 at 10:00 AM with Chris, one of the owners, this was confirmed. Had to drive 4 hours round trip to meet Chris at the property to get an estimate for an estate sale. He was very eager on the phone a week ago, today he did not show up, tried to call multiple times on his cell number, no answer, no call back. I find this to be very unprofessional, would not recommend at all, gave 1 star because cant give ZERO!
