After getting my vehicle repaired by Gerber in Sun Prairie, I noticed there was a scratch made by the company when it was there being repaired. Gerber offered to fix it free of charge and pay for a rental. I arrived on the day of the appointment to no rental car. Gerber said there was a scheduling issue and I’d have to reschedule for the next day. Next day came, I got the rental car and was called the next day by the manager saying my car was ready. During this time I got survey sent to me that I filled out about the experience( I made it known my frustration about the whole ordeal that lasted 2 weeks to get resolved finally). During the phone call with the manager after asking if they were covering the gas for the rental car due to me having to drive to them many times for their mistakes/ scheduling errors she said she would pay for it after she said she didn’t feel they should have to. She then proceeded to say that she got my survey sent to her by corporate and she wishes I would have waited to fill it out until they could “ make it right.” I explained that the survey was my own personal opinion to do what I wanted with and that she should not be talking to me about how she was now in trouble with corporate due to my bad survey. I went on to say this wasn’t true because she just told me she didn’t think they should pay for my $5 in gas used for the day. The issue I have with the manager is she was not professional with how she handled the situation with saying I shouldn’t have filled out a survey and she didn’t like what I said in it. There were other words exchanged, but the whole conversation was not professional in the slightest. I urge others to try to find a different repair shop.

My entire experience with Gates Collision from the very start to the completion of work on my vehicle was a smooth process, with excellent customer service and communication from the staff. They handled all the insurance paperwork and made the process effortless on my part. The repairs were done quickly and well done. I was also impressed with how clean the wrap on my vehicle was upon pick up- it was spotless! Very impressed with the entire team and would highly recommend their services to anyone needing them.
