So I wasnt originally going to write a review.... But I saw something on my driver window today that kind of annoyed me. At over $100/window for Xpel XR Plus I would expect a pretty decent experience.From the top... I made my appointment on October 30th 2020, the tint of choice was discussed and he said it would need to be ordered. No big deal as the appointment wasnt until 9am on November 12th. I received a call on the 10th reconfirming my appointment... and at that point Im also told they dont have any of the 70% tint available in stock and then goes on to tell me how its going to cost him more to have a roll overnighted for just me. Yea I guess procrastination does typically cost money.Now lets move to the 12th... After having multiple vehicles tinted by TNT in Middleton (which I highly recommend) I figured no big deal for 4 measly windows. Left the dog at home and drove just over the hour to their location. I arrived at 9am to find there was suddenly a full tint job ahead of me. I was told, Well normally our customers just drop off their vehicles... Meanwhile I explicitly stated I was going to be staying with the vehicle. So pulled the truck out and went to cabelas to wait on my appointment they felt no obligation to meet. About 12:30pm they finally finished their priority tint job to start on mine... it was right about 4:45 pm when the job was finished. I realize it isnt the worlds easiest vehicle to tint by a long shot, but I do believe a straight cut should be possible if youre literally just following the line of the window... There was a photo showing the owner exactly what the job was on prior to me even arriving also.The lack of edge quality was found today Nov. 20th, 8 days after the tint job as the windows remained rolled up since then with the truck parked.

Having had previously bad experiences with Paint Protection Film, I was a little skeptical to pay to have it applied to a new car, but was interested in the recent advancements in the technology. After talking with Kyle at the Tint Factory about the advances over the last 10 years in the film, and their superior installation process, my mind was put at ease.Kyle was extremely helpful in walking me through the various options for the film, what sections of the car I would like to protect and the associated cost involved. He also took the time to help decide how I would like some custom pieces done.I must say the outcome of the work done on my Tesla Model 3 was absolutely fantastic. The film looks absolutely amazing and is virtually unnoticeable. The installation quality is second to none from what I have seen before.The professionalism and ease of the entire process was great. I could not be happier with the process and the outcome.

Do NOT trust these guys. Yes they can put the tint on/off but will leave PERMANENT damage on your cars interior. Nice guys, but are terrible at their craft. They use cheap machines to apply/remove tint and this is the result (see pictures). If you care about how your car looks, GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!! (by the way, I reached out to them right after I saw their message three weeks ago and they mysteriously havent found time to get back to me).

The Tint Factory did a great job on installing my wifes remote starter in her 2011 Durango. She loves having a warm vehicle on these cold Wisconsin days. Fantastic work, finished when promised and explained how to use when we picked it up. I would highly recommend them if you are looking for a remote starter for your vehicle. Kudos to them!!

I worked with Jordan primarily, but also Kyle, and they were both very personable, helpful, and did high quality work. I initially planned to just have old tint removed from my used truck since it was too dark to safely see out of. I was expecting a much higher labor cost for removal given the amount of work involved to entirely remove windows, clean off old tint and adhesive, plus re-install. While in the shop discussing removal, I was surprised that Jordan never made me feel pressured to have a new tint put on after reverting back to factory (I assumed a shop wouldnt want to waste time with a removal-only job). Jordan tested the percentages of my existing & factory tint and showed me examples of where Id be once back to factory tint since my worry was being left too light. It was my decision to inquire about adding a new (much lighter) tint back on while the windows were already removed, and Jordan was great about listening to what I wanted and making recommendations. I mainly wanted better visibility, but I also liked the exterior look of darker windows, plus of course having some shade for a child in the back seat. I opted for the ceramic XR Plus tint on both the 2 front and 2 rear windows for its heat resistant properties (I chose to go with the premium and wasnt pressured with any upselling). I was impressed how quickly they were able to schedule my install appointment (approx a week out), then dropped off the car the night before and picked up at the end of the following day. Once complete, my initial reaction was that I put too much tint back on since it still looked really dark from the exterior, but Jordan clearly knew what I wanted and made perfect recommendations. As soon as I started driving, I couldnt help but smile since I had my visibility back...I loved everything else about my new (used) truck except the overly dark tint it came with; the guys at the Tint Factory fixed that. I was looking to get my windows tinted primarily for heat rejection and they were helpful in helping me decide which option to choose. I cant argue with the install either - looks flawless even though my 2016 Legacy has 4 corner windows! Definitely recommend going here.

Had my car tinted and they did a great job. It does take all day but its worth the wait. A lot of businesses seem to care about quantity over quality but here they really take pride in their work. The owner took great care of my car and got it perfect. I definitely will return.

Very professional and knowledgeable shop that does great work at a reasonable price. I had both tinting and remote start done in 1 day to my 2011 Acura TSX wagon and it looks great. When I first called in they explained in great detail all of my options for both tint and a remote start. When I picked up my car they exceeded my expectations of everything I needed to know, and informed if I ever had any check engine light issues to contact them first so they could very that its not something related to the remote starter, and if it was, they would take care of it. I would highly recommend The Tint Factory.

I recently had a remote starter installed on my car. They quoted me on the cost of parts and installation over the phone.When I dropped my car off they told me it would be ready at 5pm. 5pm rolls around and I walk in. The car is ready and one of the mechanics rings me up for my service. The price was exactly as what they quoted on the phone.Great service, accurate work length estimate.5/5 Would get service done here again.

I just had my new Corvette XPELd and tinted at the Tint Factory. Kyle is an incredible professional who takes extreme pride in his work and respects how important your car is to you. Excellent communication and a guy I would highly recommend doing business with. In the past I had used a competitor in Middleton, but they dont use XPEL and quite frankly dont have the attention to detail that the Tint Factory does.I would highly recommend them and use them again.

I rode over to get a quote on my motorcycle. I wanted Expel which they use exclusively. After they looked the bike over, I was quoted about 1200.00 to 1500.00 as a ballpark estimate. I am the one who gets quotes and found another Expel installer a few hours away that will do the fenders, fairing, lowers, forks, side covers, and gas tank where my knees rest when riding straight up. The quote was 650.00! So I get to ride 4 hours from madison on my bike and save MONEY. Over priced place after comparing apples to apples. EDIT well of course you would respond. I can tell you the company doing my clearbra is using the same product as you and was able to accommodate me.

Remote install done took days and had to comeback 3 times for Kyle to finally get it installed properly. One time he even hid in the shop so he wouldnt have to work on car. Also had tints done and he had to redo them 4 different times because he couldnt properly cut and fit tints and had bubbles under tints. Left liquid streaks all over inside interier. Also scratched interier and exterior. Damaged vehicle during work then lied and denied damage. ...

Had the Compustar R3 2-way installed on my manual transmission Impreza. I usually do my own mechanical maintenance but electrical stuff is a bit beyond my expertise. With that said, I wanted someone experienced installing remote engine start on my brand new car. Kyle knows the product like the back of his hand and performs a clean install using soldering of wires instead of crimping where it is a less reliable connection. Im really glad I got this installed since I just moved to the area and getting used to my first midwest winter. Will be coming back in the summer for a tint install!

The Tint Factory did a great job installing my CompuStar remote starter. Job was very well done and they stood by their work. Shortly after getting it installed, I had another shop disconnect the battery causing the remote system to fail. I took it back in to the Tint Facctory and they fixed the issue on the spot! Great to see a company stand by their work like this. I try to find reasons to go back to them as I think they do great work, very friendly and up front with you as well. Have recommended to many of my friends.

Absolute terrible service. Was 10 min late for the scheduled appointment and all of a sudden can’t do it until the next day. Very rude guy too. Using a different tint company who actually deserves our money. Doesn’t even deserve one gold star.
