My favorite library. nice place with study areas and computers. amazing selection of books and other things

My family loves this library, I have been going there since I was a wee little bookworm. They have a nice selection no matter what your age is. The drive up pick up window is quite nice, you dont have to leave your vehicle to pick up the items you put on hold. If they dont have it but another library does, you can request it via inter-library loans. The pivot from in-person was a bit rough, but many library programs from story time to teen gaming to book clubs moved on line. There is still limited access to computers and book returns are back to being open as they were before Covid. Cant wait for them to reopen for browsing next week.

Just wish they would open up the room with the comfortable chairs. However, they treated me well!

Unfortunately it is curbside pickup only. But I always enjoy stopping by to look for books and other things that interest me.

We can now go into the library and get our holds off the shelf and browse the shelves.

The library offers a cozy reading room with fireplace, a great selection of movies to choose from for rental (for free with a library card!), helpful librarians, and space for public speaking events. MADCAT is jam packed with amazing authors and titles to choose from across the library system, and they can be ordered and shipped for free to the Sun Prairie library.There is no sound barrier between the kids section and the rest of us, and some parents make little effort to quiet their kids. Pro tip: if your kids are SCREAM CRYING in the library, take them outside!Thank you for the suggestions in the reply from the library. I revised my review.

A beautiful space... A great community library offering a lot of amenities. Also lets not forget you have ALL the south central libraries at you fingertips in that you can access them all using this library as your hub!

Lovely library, very relaxing. Usually very clean. Only bad thing is that I was studying today in the tower and a swarm of spiders came out from under the table, I was very startled.

This is a great place for studying and I was surprised by the variety of books I’ve found. It’s large and long enough that if some group of loud people come in you can move to the other side of the library with your books and read in peace. This place is freaking brilliant.

I love the Sun Prairie Library!!! I go to it often and have books and audio books out all the time. I am excited to go find new great reads. I have learned so much and plan to continue doing so. They are also top notch at getting books they dont have through the Madison Library system. I am so grateful to have this wonderful library in my town.

This library is 30 min. (by bike) from my home. Its an awesome place with a wide variety of books and a nice area with beanbag chairs for kids. It also has a plethora of nooks where you can work. And the teen librarian, Anna is very nice. They also have a bookstore that sells snacky food and books.

Great place for remote workers to get work done. Lots of open table space and reliable wifi. I get work done here about 32 hrs a week, mainly because of those reasons. Renting a room for a conference call can be tough because Ive been told Im not allowed to make a reservations, its just first-come-first-serve but then other days they say I can make a reservation, so I guess it depends on who you get. Besides that, I really like this place. One of the best libraries Ive lived near.

Nice environment for studying with tables and outlets for a laptop. Beautiful space and plenty of room.

Very nice building, decent selection of books. Computer access, wi-fi, conference rooms, and work space. Seems to be a decent kids area. Easy to review catalog online and requests books in if its not available in Sun Prairie.

Very nice library, not a lot of books. Ive had to order most of the books I am interested in via the MadCat system.

I really like the library here! Clean, lots of selection and well organized.

Beautiful Library but it is so noisy! Kids screaming that are echoed across the library, and even the staff doesnt talk with a hushed tone of voice. The librarys noise policies are not enforced like they should be. Its no wonder more people dont come here to actually study/read.

My 2 year old loves to come here and play with the puzzles, puppets, legos, color, etc. They also have a ton of books, movies, audio books and everything else you may be looking for.

Book wise its nice and so is the building. I have taken some class there aswell and they are nice as well. What I have to say is disappointing is the the staff. Multiple times now I have come to this library and have meet some of the rudest staff. Very disappointing. Im so tired of this that I will be taking the extra time to drive into Madison to go to the Library.

Love the once a month genealogy classes they offer.

So staff inconsiderate of people with disabilities I would not recommend this library to anybody they are rude green people when it comes to kids and people with disabilitiesfrom josh hanson

I like eating here the most. 10/10.

Pokemon Black 2 comes on Sunday, I miss it and now I have to wait till Tuesday.
