I was pleasantly surprised at the selection at Sun Glass Hut.... I was not sure what to expect. Thankful I took a chance.

A nightmare. First, i waited 10 minutes at an empty counter waiting for an employee to show up so i could return the sunglasses i bought. No one showed. Waited in Cabelas return line for 20 mins, was told that i needed to make the return at Sun Glass Hut. Went back, employee was finally there. Said I would like to make a return. Employee asks why, I said because they are cheap. He argues with me, saying that brand is not cheap and he is surprised i want to return them. Asks me what do you think is cheap about them?? I say i dont want to get into the politics of why i think the glasses are cheap or not and i just want my money back. He finally decides to start the return process. 3 minutes into the process, he asks me if there is another pair i would like to switch them out for, I said no I just want my money back. He goes back to his computer for another minute or two (cant seem to figure out the password to complete the return). Finally he turns to me and said Is a gift card ok? I almost lost it. I paid in cash, I want cash back like Ive said twice now. He sighs and asks for my signature. I sign my name on the card reader and he gives me 80 dollars in 5 dollar bills. Are you kidding me??Not only did i have a horrible experience here, but Im now aware that most of the brands at Sun Glass Hut are manufactured by the same company. I will not support a monopoly. Especially one that imports all of its brands from cheap sources and materials and sells them at extremely inflated prices! Do yourself a favor and go buy a cheap pair of gas station sunglasses, as they are about the same quality for a fraction of the price. All you are paying for here is a name. A name that has been sold to a giant company that no longer cares about quality, and uses that name to pedal their cheap products for huge margains. UNAMERICAN!
