Toyota Sunnyvale is one of my favorite dealership to take my Yaris for service. Maria Castillo is one of the adviser that she has a great experience about car’s services and I always make an appointment with her, she is great on telling what kind of service my car needs. People are very friendly there, clean place, very organice. If you want to wait for your car at Toyota Sunnyvale, there is coffee, wifi.
I was 200 miles over the limit for an extended service oil change and the service department screwed up the next 4 services on the book.They denied the last oil change that I had already paid for.This happened after one service associate had PROMISED me that I would get the last oil change.The service department also lies to you about required services in order to sell “brake line flushes” that aren’t even in the service manual.I bought the car brand new at this dealership and the service managers treated me like dirt. Their service department managers are scumbags.With four dealerships on the peninsula one might think that this location would try to retain customers by treating them with some respect for the customer’s dignity.
Quick edit to add that I bought my Tacoma from Sunnyvale at MSRP when quite literally all other dealers in a large radius were marking up their new Tacomas an extra $9,000.After searching constantly the last two months for a specific Tacoma it was so nice to have Amir make the process of buying my first new vehicle so seamless. He helped me the whole way and was always available to answer any questions that I had throughout the buying process. I had to fly out to Sunnyvale because of the distance from where I live and it seemed like my day was falling apart when my 6:30 am flight was delayed, causing me to miss my connecting flight and stranding me in SF three hours before I was supposed to arrive in San Jose. I thought I was going to have wait 3 hours at the airport and Uber over but Amir, working on his day off because it was the only day I could make it there last week, came and picked me up in SF right away! I cannot overstate how thankful I am for all of his help and would recommend your dealership to anyone I know looking for a vehicle.
We bought 2 cars and both cars were sold at MSRP.Managers found the exact cars that we needed, even, when we were looking for some specific features.Ali helped us with everything and got in touch when we need to install extra equipment and even proposed to give me a ride if needed.We werent sure if one of the cars would be big enough and we were able to try it with all of our 3 kids.Our trade-in vehicle was priced fairly.The dealership took care of all the processes during our trade-in and financing.Guys were willing to work after hours to finish all the documents.
BEWARE when buying at this dealership. CERTIFIED Pre-owned that was delivered with misaligned tires and NEW tires replaced with the CHEAPEST tires... so you may be saving money but not getting the same as other Dealerships. Longo Toyota replaces tires on CPO work OEM equipment. Car was definitely not Certified. Door lock issue and ERROR ALERT CODES not even cleared.... but the car was certified Yeah i saved $1000 from other dealerships but definitely didnt get a certified car Now the car STILL veers right tires are suspected but Sunnyvale is not doing anything further.
Dino helped my mom get into a new Rav4 after she had her old car for 20 years. Dino provided an excellent car buying experience where he was there when you needed him and did not linger when you wanted time to yourself. We had the most amazing experience with Toyota Sunnyvale. Our Jeep Grand Cherokee lost engine coolant on our trip down south. Not only did they repair it within a day, they kept us in the loop of what was wrong (tear in a plastic part) and how much it will be to fix it. They also returned the car washed. We are so greatful! Bought a used car. Salesperson said plates will arrive in mail. Plates never arrived and DMV said dealer did not apply for them. Has been doing back and forth on calls with the dealer and can never get to the person who can actually help us with this. Very smooth talking when selling a car, and terrible service after. Car registration has expired and unusable.
After having a bad experience with Toyota Magnussen in Palo Alto. I decided to drive a little further and give Toyota Sunnyvale a chance for service for my car. Hands down best customer service and efficient work. Maria took care of me that day and reassured me that they would take care of my car and notify me when my car was done. Her customer service was a 5 star performance and made me feel welcomed, there was honesty in her work and of course most kind attitude from beginning to end! Definitely coming back to this location.

I did not have a good experience with the salesman here (THE TEAM OF AHMED AND KEVIN VO). Very unprofessional. Went to buy a car and started the process for payment. Half way through, i decline car warranty and they tell me that the car has been sold to someone else. They wasted a lot of my time. I do not recommend this dealer to anyone who wants to buy a new car.
Im so impressed - I had a recall for my car, and Toyota picked it up from my house/ dropped it back off 4 hours later. ...They didnt just do the recall servicing, but also rotated/ checked air pressure for my tires, and WASHED MY CAR! :O WHAT?! Im still in disbelief.

Just purchased a 2020 Prius Prime. Quite pleased with the process & the car. I’ve been bringing my older Prius Plug-in to Sunnyvale Toyota for years. Always totally satisfied with the service experience. Not that the car needed much; it’s Toyota... Anyway, they had the car I wanted. 0% down & 0% interest is a winner. Made me wait more than 3 hours after filling the application to buy own leased car! The sales person was nice to talk to, but it should not take more than 3 hours to purchase my own car when Im paying it outright at once! Hope I never have to come here again! Oh, and turns out I can not come back tomorrow, otherwise my car could technically be sold to someone else overnight, wait what?! What the actual hell! Ive never see a place take so long when someone wants to pay them! Oh, and yeah I did not get the extended warranty even after 20 mins of convincing, not sure but this feels connected to the wait times somehow!

The dealer really want us to buy an additional warranty so much that she asked us at least three time about it. Its a bit tired to answer the same question again and again. We appreciate they worried so much about the accidents that will happen if we do not buy additional warranty, but if they could respect out choice, we might have a better experience.

This place is doing a great job adhering to all the current COVID protocols and still operates like a well-oiled machine. I was kindly greeted on the drive by Olivia and was happy to see that before entering my vehicle to park it they placed protective coverings on the seat. Olivia did a great job explaining the recommendations and following up with me throughout the day. Plus, she got my car back to me before promised. When I came to pick up, Olivia made sure all my concerns were addressed and then another gentleman sanitized the door handles and steering wheel. Oh, and everyone was masked — well done, Toyota Sunnyvale!

Really bad experience with Bobby. We had spoke twice in the same day about test driving a specific car later that day at an agreed time. I drive 30 minutes+ to the dealership to try the car we talked about and the car isnt even in the lot and Bobby didnt even show up. No heads up, no response to my messages and no apology. Wasted over an hour of my time and didnt even acknowledge the mistake, dont think anyone should be treated like this.

This dealership used to be one of the best, i dont know what happened, after covid i took my car in for maintenance, first time they did not change the oil and called me back after just only 15 minutes. Second time i went, when i open the hood back home, the coolant was low on my prius prime electric drive. When I asked the adviser they told me they dont fill coolant until it gets below min. I have brought 3 cars from them, and my parent have also brought 1. That being said, I would not buy another car from them ever again.

The gentleman in the parts department completely forgot to mention that even though it cost $35 to get a key replacement it would cost $220 and 1.5hrs to get it programmed. He may want to mention that beforehand.
Service advisor was worst. I am not able to recollection his name. For the punctured tire, instead of fixing the tubeless tire, he asked me to buy new tire. I did and become fool. This incident happened in 2015. Be cautious.
Avoid service at all costs. My issue was not fixed correctly and then they never returned my calls or committed to seeing the car again for free. Ive been trying to get in contact with my service advisor for weeks. Look elsewhere for service.
They charged me very high then other dealer servicing RAV4, i dont recommend, first discuse to price then decide.

Kalandar helped us get our car -Toyota Camry. 5 stars for him or even more if permitted. He goes above and beyond to help you. We had visited a couple of other dealerships but we came back because of him. The processes take a bit long but overall offer and financing options are good.
I had a horrible experience with Sunnyvale Toyota service. I set up an appointment with the service advisor and arrived on time driving close to 30miles. When they are inspecting my car during the intake process they tell me that the service (oil and filter change) can take 3 hours? I am shocked. I reiterate that I have an appointment with their Service department. I was told by the service advisor that the appointments don’t mean much and I have no choice but wait.How do they operate like that? What is the purpose of an appointment? Why don’t you value the customers time? This is taking the whole service level to the lowest possible experience a customer can expect. I don’t have 3 hours to waste and left the dealership.Please be warned when dealing with Sunnyvale Toyota’s service department.

Toyota Sunnyvale has a large selection of new vehicles and a great pricing policy. They are low key and dont pressure you into buying we xtra coverage that you dont need. For new car transactions the wait time is reasonable, but I wish it could be completed in minutes and not hours.
Purchased a Certified Pre-Owned 2012 Toyota Prius a few years ago, dealer showed me a clean Carfax, a 160 point inspection and assured me the vehicle has never had any major repairs done. When I went to sell the car recently, both Shift and Carmax told me the car had significant front frame damage and the front apron was replaced at some point. This resulted in a deduction of nearly $4,000 in resale value.

I was told to spend $2500 on my car during a regular oil change appointment. I bought a new car and even though it has 60k miles on it, there was nothing wrong that I suspected would cost this much. Stay away from them. Horrible experience and service - disgruntled customer
Best experience with a car dealership! I recently worked with Bobby at Toyota Sunnyvale to buy out the lease on my Toyota. They gave me a fair price and made the whole process really easy. Bobby even drove the paperwork to me, so I never stepped foot inside the dealership.I had originally contacted the a different dealership (in the L.A. area) to try to buy out my lease. They came back with a price way higher than I expected and added on a few suspect charges and calculated the sales tax incorrectly. So instead, I went to Toyota Sunnyvale. Without even telling Bobby or anyone else at Toyota Sunnyvale about my experience at the other toyota dealership, they quoted me a much lower price. I would definitely recommend going to Toyota Sunnyvale if you are in the market for a car. Fair prices, great customer service.Thank you again Bobby and Toyota Sunnyvale!

Service Department do not have clear information about Oil and Filter Change charges. I booked an appointment over phone and got the discount coupon which was not accepted by Service Advisor and refused to apply the coupon on my invoice.

They lied about the repair time and I could not pick up the car at the agreed time. When I asked them for the car, they started to repair it. I am currently promised to pick up the car one hour later than the agreed time. The actual repair time is one and half hour.

**Posting for a friend**Had my vehicle towed in for a no start condition (seemed like a battery) left to work with a estimate for air filter, cabin air, floor mat,oil change (which was done this year),brake pads, brake flush, maf air flow cleaning, alignment, tire rotation (2 month old tires) all totalling about 654$. Mentioned it to a mechanic friend, he quickly told me to call them and cancel everything youre getting ripped off had my boyfriend call to stop the repairs to which they told me I needed a battery. When I picked up the car I was told they installed a headlight bulb which was 120$ +40$ bulb. Did anyone think to call me for approval? Definitely lost my trust and business My recommendation is DO YOUR RESEARCH.!!! Dont let these places take advantage of you.

Came into Sunnyvale Toyota to buy a car. I told them the whole deal was dependent on the amount they gave me for my trade. They said they would really like to work with me and that they would love every opportunity to earn my business. After they came back with a trade amount 2-3K below what Kelly Blue Book said my car was worth in fair condition, they refused to work with me to get me the amount of money I wanted for my trade. I called Stevens Creek Toyota, they looked at my trade and gave me exactly what I asked for as far as value. They gave me exactly what I asked for on the price of the new vehicle. No hassle, no fuss. Ive had one star experiences here too and it all boils down to the service advisor. Ive been bringing my car here for service since 2008 and despite repeated visits to the same advisor it was always like they were meeting me for the first time. I keep coming back because its different with Maria Castillo. She has consistently given me good service the last several visits to this dealership (I always go to her now so I cannot comment on other service advisors currently there). Its nice that someone in the service department remembers who I am and cares about customer service, not just about their internal advisor rating. As long as I keep getting this great service Ill be giving the dealership this rating.
