Great Italian market in Sunrise! If you are nostalgic about your Italian grandmother’s food, or you are simply into their specialties and fare, the place has a lot of goodies and options. They have products you cannot find in mainstream markets. The place has a bakery, wines, a cheese department, etc. Check it out!

As an American of Italian descent, I learned from an early age that only quality ingredients are acceptable in an Italian kitchen! Doris’s in Sunrise is my favorite place to shop for meat, fish, cheese, fresh produce and seasonal Italian specialties! Before you even enter the store, pots overflowing with fresh herbs greet you on the left, and upon entering, beautiful sunflowers are right there to put in your basket! Mounds of seasonal veggies like artichokes and bushels of colorful peppers are irresistible, and the holiday offerings straight from Italy are fantastic! I particularly love the chestnuts arriving in autumn, from Firenze, in huge burlap bags, and the gorgeously fabric wrapped giant Easter Eggs in the spring remind me of holidays past. They offer an impressive array of cheeses, the fish, especially Corvina, is super fresh, and their fennel Italian sausage is out of this world. Good wine selection. This market is a joy, the staff is super friendly and helpful, and they have everything you need to cook like a pro!

All the staples of a typical market, but also the hard to find Italian items. I almost exclusively shop at Doris nowadays. The prices are unexpectedly low with plenty of specials. Fantastic meat and seafood section, very fresh. Plenty of workers that are all super friendly. Every week Ill even treat myself to one of their fresh made hot subs!They have a substantial prepared foods section as well that is hard to walk past without grabbing something. Excellent cheeses, bakery items, etc. Doris is simply a great place for people who enjoy cooking and appreciate quality ingredients. Its the difference between prepackaged sausages at your typical supermarket and fresh made sausages made by experts right in the back at Doris. Its just wall to wall quality at really great prices.

It was a good place to pick up a couple of items. The prices are very high or maybe just these days but they had a solid stocked store and some things that arent usually found at the regular supermarket. There was a couple of things with a good price and we got the nice cashier. There was another one just eating and not paying attention at her register but still 5 stars for the store in Sunrise Florida

Great supermarket! The bakery is one of a kind with lots of variety.And the sweets and cakes are the most delicious one in the area. Prices are very reasonable. Their Cheese selection is amazing. Vegetables were not as fresh it should be but maybe i went there on the weekend.Check it out!

Doris is wonderful, has old school charm, and a great/helpful staff! The wine selection is good...and the prices are very fair. The prepared foods...wonderful and kitchen fresh!

The employees I interacted with were very nice. The produce I bought was good. The 2 items I got at the Bakery counter were terrible. The crumb cake was extremely dry, and the chocolate cream pie was just awful. This way first time shopping at this location.

A beautiful gourmet supermarket in the Sunset strip area and Nob Hill. Its not a very big place but the selection of food is superb, like lasagna, chicken parmigiana, etc. The meat department is impecable. The deli selection is excellent and the ready to serve food selection is fabulous. If you have a cocktail party, visit this place for salads, dips, stuffed grape leaves, mushrooms vinagrette, olives and a very nice selection of different cheeses. They have a very good wine selection and for dessert, you can buy a whole cake or the mini italian assorted pastries. The prices are very affordable. The service was polite.

I wont shop for meat or poultry anywhere else. The 5lb chicken breast is a very good deal and does NOT have steroids in it. The red meat, sausage, and pre-cooked food is always good. I try my best to walk by the pastry section. 🇮🇹💯👍🏼

Ive been looking for a specialized butcher for man meat Mondays and this place KILLS it!!! I paid almost $10 more per pound for USDA Prime at other places and didnt get a steak as well marbled, fresh or tender as the USDA Choice at Doris. I cant wait to try out the rest of their meat selections, but this place is a gem! The produce section is also very well stocked with plenty of diversity, especially the herbs. Truly a hidden gem. They smoke cheese in house. They offer full service counters for seafood, meat, deli, cheese, and dessert. One of the largest offerings in each department I have seen in the Miami area. There are also the regular aisles, freezer, and produce sections. The store is clean and reasonably priced. The products are fresh and high quality. This is a must visit location for anyone.

I wish I had discovered this place when we first moved here.The meats and cheeses are all great and well priced, the frozen pastas are great, including the stuffed types, the pastries are awesome.The produce is stunningly fresh.Its crowded around the holidays, so be prepared, the picture here was taken on Christmas Eve Eve of 2018 fairly early in the day.

Too much ethnic diversity to be closed on a holiday like Easter. For the 10 minutes I was in parking lot, a ton of customers turned away for being closed.

I have been receiving the weekly special ads for a while. I decided to check it out and I am very happy I did. The prices on meat and chicken are very similar to costco without having to make the drive and deal with the crowds. It is definitely much less expensive than publix. Chicken breast @2.69 a pound is definitely a reason to visit. The lean ground beef is also a big winner. For a long time, i bought meat at fresh market but the quality of their meat has been poor for a long time. After that i would go to costco and now I will stick with Doriss. It really is a pleasure to shop there. The employees are very friendly and they offer a lot of prepared food. If you have never been here and you are close to one of their locations, you should check it out. It will become a part of your local rotation of shopping.

Excellent service. Sometimes theres a line but i can understand. The employees have always been quick and attentive when i go. Fresh food and compatible prices. I love shopping at Doriss. I would like to see newer carts there but every store has the same kind of carts I guess (a bit worn and rusty).

No organic produce, pastas, sauces, meats or prepared foods... so if you are like me, that likes to eat very good quality food, I don’t recommend you going here... however they do have beers that we never found in any supermarket, like Meansbrea and Moretti, but no wine from Sardegna : ( or Amaretto.

Meat/seafood department sales people are so helpful and make sure what you buy is exactly what you want and and wrapped for the freezer if you wish. 2 thumbs up.

This is the worst Italian market. Don’t go to this store. It’s another one in Coral Springs. the cashiers on the number 2. Is the worst. People like that shouldn’t be working with customers.
