So easy to make an appointment at Kari Toyota. However, no attention, whatsoever, is paid to appointment times. I waited from my 8AM appt. to 11AM and my car hadnt even been started on. I travel an hour to use their services and the service manager knew this. Im almost to the point of buying a new Toyota - certainly wont be from Kari Toyota! Update: The Service Manager contacted me the day after the original post, and another date/time was set for the work to be done in a timely manner. Thank you to Jeff and Pat, in the service dept., who got this issue resolved.

We have bought two vehicles from there and it has been a good experience. Our 2nd vehicle I corresponding via email and gave them what I was looking for and price range, they had one before it hits the lot and Allen gave me a price, and we test drove it. There was no pressure or add-on of things. It was straight forward and easy. We have been getting our vehicle serviced there and cannot complain. They have free shuttle that drives me to work then picks me up when it is done. Service price might be a little higher than other places but they stand by there work, usually can get in under a week, and catch any warranty work that needs to be done.

Oil change and tire rotation.My parents purchased multiple vehicles from Kari and they were pleased with the dealership. I brought my 2015 Tundra in for an oil change and tire rotation. Going home there was a severe vibration from the rear. I got home (30+ miles)and parked in my garage. The lug nuts on the rear drivers side were loose. 3 nuts were just about off the studs and the other two were finger tight only. Totally disappointed in the quality of work. Just thankful the tire didnt come off going down the highway. Probably be taking my business elsewhere.

Just echoing the general consensus, Kari Toyota is a responsive, honest and competent local dealership, with all of the perks of being a small town operation, and Im very glad to have them around. I have all scheduled maintenance on my FR-S performed here, and have been pleasantly shocked by the fair rates, which is not something I thought I would ever write about any car dealership. Heck, I was in last week to pick up a couple of pieces for a battery tie-down, and they just outright gave them to me gratis rather than deal with a card swipe. Highly recommended.

I purchased a used Toyota Camry from Karis. I am a long time loyal customer having purchased multiple vehicles there over the past 40 years. I was sold a Tire/Wheel replacement policy by Karis at the time I completed my financing paperwork. I got a flat tire yesterday. I first got a low pressure warning on my dash and filled the tire with air. It appeared OK at that point. The next morning it was completely flat when I went out to drive to work. We brought the flat tire to Karis where it should have been replaced according to the terms of the Tire/Wheel replacement policy. They couldnt determine why the tire went flat, so they refused to replace it. I asked if a different technician could check it, maybe seeing something the first one did not. They declined and said the one who had checked it was very experienced. I am now expected to put the tire back on my car and cross my fingers that when it went flat it was some kind of a fluke. Im scared to death Im going to get stuck on the road somewhere, in the dark, with it having gone flat again the near future. Im not young, and Im not physically capable of putting on the spare by myself. I dont think I was treated reasonably or fairly.

We worked with Josh and were incredibly happy. He was knowledgeable, listened to our needs, and was not pushy at all. We were split between 2 different vehicles at different places and chose the vehicle at Kari because of the customer service we received from Josh and everyone else who helped us. Location is convenient for me. Service is good. My only complaint is when I received new tires and I chose a tire because I was told it had $100 rebate with it. When I got the rebate form, which i had to go back for, it was only for $60. I was not impressed, but i had no proof that i was told $100.

My experience at Kari Toyota was incredible! Every person I interacted with here has shown such great cordiality and hospitality! The car search and selection process was made so convenient thanks to Al and Bob! These two made me comfortable and confident in my selection, and was eager to show me as wide of an array of options within my budget as they could! The car selection and purchasing process can be extremely overwhelming and cumbersome, but this was not the case in my experience with these folks. In addition, Carrie in finance has made financing my new vehicle so convenient! She is very competent in this position and has been so accommodating to my financial needs to make sure I can get a vehicle on the road!I would send my friends and family to Kari Toyota any day! Very disappointed. I have leased two prior vehicles through Kari Toyota.My current lease was maturing at the end of September. I called in June and spoke with my original salesperson, and he just never returned my call. I called again as my lease was getting closer to its mature date and asked to speak with someone else. After a week of phone calls with Al and no price for a new lease. I called Al on my way up from the cities to hopefully return the vehicle and get a new one. Carrie, from finance, calls me and I provided the information for a credit check, and told her halfway through that I didn’t have a price yet. She told me she would have Al call me, yet gather the rest of my information since I was on the phone. I honestly didn’t think they would submit it without giving a price first. She tells me Al will call me and when he does I am not willing and or okay with paying that much. Then I get notified that they did indeed run my credit, so I sent an email asking for them to remove the inquiry. I called and spoke with Carrie two days later after not getting an email and or a call back, and was more or less told that it’s not a big deal, won’t affect my credit that much, and people are allowed to shop around. Well, I wasn’t just shopping around or looking to be approved. I was looking for a price.Another thing that disappointed me was that Al was looking into the $500 loyalty cash for me, and told me I wasn’t eligible and I didn’t have any loyalty rewards. I received an email three or so days later from Toyota reminding me to come in before my $500 loyalty cash reward expires. Offer was good from July 17, 2019, through September 30, 2019.There are other things looking back on with my two prior leases that have also left me feeling taken advantage of as a customer and disappointed. 100% would not recommend Kari Toyota.

We do wish our interest had been communicated to someone else who could have followed up. We do hope Josh is OK and back on his feet soon. We will update this review if we end up moving forward with a purchase.]Super disappointed this morning. My wife began working with Josh This morning and we were excited due to all of his positive feedback. He asked for our VIN number. Asked us to take photos. Gave a ballpark trade value of our existing Prius. We life in Wausau so would drive nearly four hours if we could get close on details. My wife completed pre-approval at Josh’s request. And then? Nothing...I even contacted Chris Kari via their website and explains the situation. No reply. I have purchased quite a few vehicles in my lifetime. I never felt like someone was working so hard to not sell me a vehicle. If you don’t want to sell my wife a vehicle, call her and tell her that. Don’t be passive by just not returning emails and texts. I did call, and they are open.

Speaking on the phone with service dept, was akin to negotiating with an ADHD spider monkey.He tried talking me out of getting an URGENT safety recall repaired.Said it would take 2 hours. When I arrived for my appt, they said it would take 3 hours, but they finished in 2.5.

My wife and I were looking for a used Toyota Highlander for our next vehicle. We had done a lot of research on them and planned on driving to a southern state to buy one, in order to avoid any rust that wouldve occurred up north. We were hesitant to use a dealership again, as our last experience at one was less than pleasant (the dealership rhymes with Ronj You Too Barbers).We went to Kari with the intent to just test drive a few Highlanders to see if we truly liked them before purchasing one down south. We were surprised to find out that the sales people were not pushy, nor did they pressure us into buying something we didnt want. We test drove approximately 6 or 7 different Highlanders, both new and used and of varying year models.Our main sales associate was Josh, and he was AWESOME! He explained several different options for us, including leasing and purchasing. He ran numbers for us for several different year vehicles and explained the pros and cons of each model year and trim. He was very knowledgeable about any questions we had. If he didnt have an answer for us, he found it out and replied to us promptly via email or phone.We made about five different trips to the lot to meet with Josh and tried driving several different vehicles before finally purchasing one. At no point did we feel that we were pressured to buy or to do anything we werent comfortable with (unlike our past experience in Too Barbers).Due to our previous car buying experience, I literally DREADED going to a dealership, but Kari has totally changed that mindset for me. I will recommend them to anyone and not think twice about it. I will also be using them to purchase my next car when it comes time to buy one.We ended up purchasing a 2014 Highlander Limited and trading in our 2011 Chevy Equinox, which had caused us nothing but headaches and was an absolutely poor excuse for a car. Josh and Kari Toyota worked with us to get us a fair trade in value. We financed through Kari and couldnt be more satisfied with our purchase.Weve had the vehicle for about a month now and it runs like a top. I used to get upset anytime anyone brought up an Equinox, or I saw one on the road, because it caused that much stress in my life, but now I smile when I see another Highlander or get to drive ours. My wife and I fight over who gets to drive the Highlander when we have to go somewhere, which is such a nice change from our old vehicle. We are very pleased to have joined the Toyota family.Take it from someone who literally HATED car dealerships and thought car salesmen were the WORST (not even joking or exaggerating); Kari Toyota did an amazing job. They sell great products that should run forever, they have great certified pre-owned vehicles with a very good warranty, and their sales team provides stress-free, pressure-free, knowledgeable and friendly buying experience.Thank you again, Kari Toyota for the great vehicle and thank you to Joshua Greenberg, for all the help in finding that great vehicle for us. I always get my oil changed and air filter changed at Curry Toyota while on vacation. The prices are good, service reps are friendly and professional, and work is done on time. Call ahead for an appointment, even if you are only doing an oil change.

Very Disappointed. Was referred to Kari Toyota by a friend that new the managers daughter. Called to pretty much order a fully loaded mini-van over the phone which had to be done through a dealer trade. Was working with sales rep (Joel) on a possible trade-in. Sent VIN and photos. For some reason never heard from the rep again. Rep even said he had a 10:30 am meeting with manager to work on my trade. That was over 10 days ago... Long meeting, I guess. Would love to keep business local. However, not here.

Brought 2012 Sienna in for Door Latch Recall (had the other one done 9 months prior) and advised them to replace my License Plate Bulb and Socket as the tabs were broke. Door latch took a few hours and we were told it was ready but they had to order the Bulb and Socket for the license plate light. We told them to keep it as the part was going to be in on Monday and they would try to get it done for us (we live 45 miles away and have 4 kids so we make the least amount of trips possible). Tuesday we hear back saying they had to order additional parts for the bulb and socket and they would be in the next day. Wednesday rolls around and we hear nothing. Thursday morning we call (about 8:30 AM) and the parts had come in that morning and they would fit it in within the hour or so and call us. 4 hours go by and no one called. We call them again around 3 PM and it was done but they forgot to call us. We go to argue our bill of $86 because time after time mistakes were made and they had our van for 3-4 extra days for a license plate bulb replacement. The service manager was told that the parts were on back-order until that Thursday morning-yet we were told the wrong parts were ordered or additional parts needed to be ordered. Simply said there was nothing he could do for us and we chose to leave the van with them for the extended period (even though we were told it would be done Monday and it ended up being done on Thursday). This is the absolute last time I will give this dealership a penny out of my pocket. Test drove a brand new Camry 3-4 years ago and they wouldnt budge on the price-took my business to the cities and saved over $4000 for the same car. The list goes on. Terrible experiences and the way they talk to you makes you feel like you have nowhere else to go. Ashland will get our business the next go-around. Adios.

These guys are real slimey. I brought my 2002 Tacoma into the service dept. because the cab had rusted off from the frame. I wanted an estimate to be done for work. I ended up paying almost $400 dollars for an oil change, tire rotation, and diagnostic work and was told I missed out on the frame recall by a little over a year. Nothing was fixed. Absolutely awful, go to another Toyota service dept.

Bought a 2008 toyota rav4 in 2011 it had 48k miles after it hit 70k miles in 2014 its had nothing but problems all engine related i dont know if the first owner just beat on it for that 50k or not or it was just a lemonContacted service and asked them if they could take time for a routine check sure bring it in and i told them it was missing maybe plugs or something called me back few hours later and said sir your motor is shot it needs new cylinder 3 and 5 and would cost me 3000$ i was panicking cause how could a engine go out after 22k miles of owing a 18k$ vehicleI eventually found a used engine for 1800$ called and said could u put it in they seemed un interested cause it was very difficult to do and what not had a buddy do it in 3 weeks and cost me far less and its going down the road well now just eclipsed 130k on the body

Called service department when we were on the highway in our Prius and all the lights came on, lost power. They advised us to have it towed 80 miles to their dealership. Turned out the problem was the key was too far from the dashboard. Very bad advice they gave us, but great for their service department revenue.

Just over a year ago I needed rear brakes for my Prius. After getting quotes from a few places, I went with Kari even though they were the most expensive. They sold me because they talked at length about working with the calipers to make sure they didnt stick. 21,000 miles later, the calipers are stuck and they quoted me $850 to repair. Kolar Toyota quoted me $395 for the same service. This is not the first time Kari has been noticeably more expensive than Kolar and I found it disappointing that they would not offer any price adjustment for the brake job.

Service center folks are either really crooked or really bad at their jobs. They quoted me two different prices for the same repair after I told them I would take it somewhere else after their first price. Then I took it somewhere else, and it wasnt even the right part they wanted to sell me. The other mechanic fixed it for under $100 after receiving a $1200 estimate from Kari for the wrong repair. Scary how bad these people are. My car is a Toyota -- they should be able to service a Toyota AT LEAST, right? I honestly dont know if theyre purposely trying to fix things wrong in order to make more money off of you, or if they really just dont know what theyre doing. Either way, please do yourself a favor and stay away.
