Great spot for sports and non sports cards! Tom packs alot of interesting collectibles in a small space! Its a special place for anybody that collects anything. Tom is very helpful and honest!

Vintage records, Cds, a few old books, comics, magazines, very random selection, few treasures to find, not many new published print in stock, prices are decent. Worth exploring if youre a collector or want decent deals on older print. Found an old Batman Graphic Novel for almost $8 off cover price and in good condition.

Its not as big as Carlsons record collection used to be back in the 90s but if you miss digging though endless racks of vinyl in hopes of finding a gem this is pretty fun. They have a few new records that are record store day releases but the bulk is used. Pretty fun place. Brings me back.

A great place to stop if youre looking for comics, used books, baseball cards, magic the gathering, and other collectable items. Even newspapers and the best selection of Lake Superior postcards in town. Easy parking, friendly staff. Building architecture is a standout in the city. Located near the library and several secondhand stores as well as gas and groceries so you can run several errands at once around here.

This historic building and business is one of a kind that doesnt exist these days. The building itself is awesome to see still standing in Superior, and I wish there were more historic buildings or structures around this town to see. I like that even with times changing so much since the doors first opened Im the 1940s, it is a business that remains the same to why they first became a business.

I had a terrible first experience here that makes me not want to support this local business. I walked in on a Sunday at 3:53 PM and was greeted by the employee in the store saying: “We close in 5 minutes”. I said, “not 7 minutes? It’s only 3:53 PM” He replied by simply repeating himself. I turned around and told him as I walked out that this was not a way to grow his business. I’m sure he didn’t care. As long as he got out on time.

Ive only been their for mtg cards. The selection is great and he gives you great deals on trade-ins. Absolutely recomend it

Best place to get cards and comics and Role-playing!!!! Most packs are 3 for $10. Booster cases and singles are the lowest in the area. Huge variety of games with singles. Staff is friendly and very knowledgeable about games, comics and RPGs. I have been a regular patron for well over 15 years.

Good card collection and cheap prices. However, when asking about there buying and trading I was told it was 60% of Starcity games price. Then the employee offered me 20% of the value of my card in a trade (it was a 25 dollar card for a 15 dollar one, and the offer was the 25 dollar card for the 15 dollar card with a 5 dollar discount). Had good experience until today, felt like I was trying to be had. Obviously they need to make money, but it felt kind od ridiculous.

Tom is a fantastic guy and the staff there are very knowledgeable on Magic The Gathering and I always go here for all of my MTG needs. Best prices around for purchasing and trade-ins, Ill never go to anywhere else. The only local game store for me!

Globe News is the place for Comics, Records, and Cards in Superior. The owner Tom is incredibly friendly and knowledgeable about his merchandise. My only complaint is that the store is a bit disorganized, but that just means you gotta do a little digging if you want to find some real treasures.
