I will just start off by saying my initial experience here was not good at all. I had multiple employees here stand me up, not call when they said they would call, and show up without telling me they were coming. Chad, the owner got involved, and he was amazing. He went above and beyond to make sure we had heat in our home. They brought heaters when we needed it, and came at any hour we needed them. In the end, they will make sure youre taken care of, and I do think my experience was a one off. But they made up for it, and I would go with this company again when we need maintenance on our furnace again. Thanks Chad!

Just want to say thank you for getting me in and sending a very knowledgeable technician. Extremely hot day 93 degrees I called in the a.m due to my AC unit was not working, was told they were very busy but would do their best to get someone to me but may be in the evening. I had given up hope at 8:40 in the evening and then there was a knock at the door. The technician was very nice and knowledgeable. I am up and running again and feeling much cooler. Thank you!!!

Imagine it being Christmas Eve and negative temperatures, when a tenant calls you to say their heat is out. I called so many HVAC companies! Many Ive personally used in the past to no avail. Not even a return call from most. TPCC was the one only one willing to even look at the furnace. They showed up within 2 hours and were able to get it running, using a part on hand, until a new part arrives after the holidays. They offered space heaters if it fails over the holidays & weekend, before the new one arrives. As a Manager of 170 rental properties and owner of several rentals of my own, Ive honestly never been so impressed! My tenants are happy and warm. I asked if I needed a new furnace. They were honest and told me a new motor should fix it permanently, when the part comes in. Ill be using them for all my personal properties moving forward. Im going to recommend them to the Property Management company I work for as well. I hope they can service my own home when needed! I solicited several quotes to replace our A/C system which was not cooling our house. Joerg came out to go through what was needed to fix the problem. He spent the time to review the entire system which included some much needed duct work modifications. Other companies did not spend the time to find the duct work issues. There price was very competitive, they showed up on time completed the work on time. The work was just completed everything seems to be working, but will have to wait for some warmer weather for a true test.

The AC hit a bump in the road. TPCC was on-call for the holiday and they took the time to listen to what the issue was, listened to what we had done to trouble shoot, walked me through the pricing, schedule and how it all works. Their employee showed up, was professional, we got the AC fixed straight away. And, we already scheduled our future annual maintenance. Thank you!

I got many quotes and went with this company not only because of the cost (which actually was not the least expensive), but because Joerg was nice and knowledgeable. They arrived on time and did everything as described. When I had to call them out for something they came right away (thank you, Adam!). My furnace had a few issues last year and with winter right around the corner I thought it best to invest in a new one. A friend recommended this company and I am so happy they did. They were very friendly and professional, and kept a good line of communication throughout the whole process.

I am very happy to tell my TPCC story! Our large cabin is on Lake Superior, and has had geo-thermal cooling, which was insufficient to keep 4,400 sq feet cool on any day that was above 80 degrees. We sought help, but few contractors were willing to tackle the project, including the company who installed the original cooling system when the home was built in 2005. One contractor even told me we should just add shades to keep the temp down. We have over 400 sq feet of eastward facing windows, so that would be no small cost, and it would block our million dollar view. So I was forced to venture out further from home and found TPCC.Tim D came out and spent 2 hours on the initial visit just to learn and understand the house and what it currently had. He took it back and worked with his team to develop a one-of-a-kind solution for us. Long story short, we had two independent Trane heat pump A/C systems installed in August. This was no simple installation! They had to integrate the new systems with two existing air handlers, and ended up working with the company in Canada to get needed replacement parts. Yes, my systems were expensive, and required extra electrical work too. But since we operate a successful whole-house vacation rental, we cannot compromise and risk unhappy summer guests!The service from TPCC absolutely could not be better. We have complex, redundant systems, including in-floor heat, geothermal cooling, and now, heat pumps. So after installation, there were a few bugs to be worked out. TPCC came out promptly, even on weekends, to keep my guests happy. Optimizing performance took quite a few adjustments on several additional trips (over an hour one way from Superior), and TPCC has NEVER complained. In fact, the owner (Chad) came out twice to impart some of his own unique expertise and make sure I was satisfied. Tim is a fantastic system designer and lead technician. Office Manager Rocki is fantastic as well, and gave me her personal cell number so that we could text on the weekend if needed help. I have never called the office and not had a real person pick up the phone.I simply cannot over-rate this company or its great people. You will not be disappointed!

I woke up on a cold, winter morning in January to find my furnace was not working. The house was freezing and we needed help right away. I Called Twin Ports Custom Climate on a recommendation from a friend. Being an early morning emergency call on a weekend, I was worried not only if it could be fixed, but what this would cost. I was put at ease when the installation tech came in a timely manner, diagnosed the problem, and was able to find the part in hand at the shop. His knowledge and resourcefulness saved me both time and money! Since then, I have moved to a new home and thought of calling them first when it came to the inspection of the furnace. I was again pleased with the service. I will be a repeat customer for sure.

I was fortunate enough to be on a job site with the highly capable and incredibly knowledgeable Twin Ports Custom Climate guys a few years back.As a residential plumber, I hadnt done a lot of heating work at that point. I remember being very imressed with the guys efficiency and skill set. Each guy was handling a different facet of a very intricate boiler system. One of the techs was installing a new mini split air conditioner in the living room. Another was hanging a high efficiency boiler on the wall in the basement. Yet another seasoned pro was pre fabricating the wiring harness and the copper plumbing that would be mounted on this boiler system.With Chad and Tim at the helm, this team was the exemplification of efficiency and productivity.Everything from boot covers and rug runners to protect the clients floor to using Mountain Spring Tide to wipe everything down with upon completion of the job so it smelled good when they left!Needless to say the client was ecstatic. Since then Twin Ports Custom Climate has grown exponentially and deserves every hard-earned client they proudly serve.

We called Twin Ports Custom Climate for my grandma’s furnace that was looked at by FOUR separate companies are the area. TPCC came in and within ten minutes figured out the problem. The part was ordered and fixed in no time! Not only did they solve the problem but my grandma said they were the kindest, most respectful, punctual individuals to work with!

I called three contractors, and these guys were the best in all phases — the initial response to my questions, the ideas offered up during a site visit, prompt bid response, the installation and the handling of paperwork for rebates (Mitsubishi and MP) on an air-source heat pump mini-split system (no duct work). Great follow-through and meticulous — especially with all aspects of the install. The unit’s working great too. Very pleased and would definitely use Twin Ports Custom Climate again.

We have had excellent customer service with everyone at TPCC. The first time we called TPCC was right after they first opened & Chad Thompson came out within an hour and got our furnace going on a frigid Friday night as we were getting ready for bed realizing we had no heat. We never hesitate to call cause the office staff are always pleasant, & courtesy on the phone. Someone always calls us back if we have to leave a message or if we call after hours. I recently used the online “Service Request” and got a call Monday morning & had an appointment by the end of the week for a quote for new heat & ac upgrades in our home. So far they are the cheapest. :) TPCC techs are always on time & professional & they definitely make you feel at ease with the solution or repair. We will continue to use TPCC and recommend them to our friends & family!!

Great experience from the get-go! Rocky who answered the phone couldnt have been nicer! Assured we could have someone out within the hour to check out our air conditioner which wasnt working. Chuck called a few minutes later to give us a time estimate. When he was delayed, he called to let us know hed be 10-15 min. behind schedule. He checked out our system and replaced the compressor, explaining what he was doing all along the way. Fingers crossed we wont need a new unit, but if we do, these are the people we will call!

**Summary before the long story**We were charged $118.00 for 10 minutes of checking and 2 aaa battery fix** Twin Ports Custom Climate did not*-inform*-troubleshoot*-return calls**My family recently switched to Superior Fuel for our propane and, when our furnace wouldnt turn on last week, we gave them a call. They, in turn, handed that service need onto Twin Ports Custom Climate. An appointment was made for a Monday service call but not once did TPCC get in touch with myself or my husband to confirm a time. I, myself, called and talked with the receptionist but never received a reciprocated call with when the service man, Chuck, would show up. During my call, I expressed that I would like to dialogue with Chuck FIRST in order to troubleshoot BEFORE he came out in case it was an easy fix. (We had not even turned on the furnace since we had transitioned to Superior Fuel last spring)We did not receive a call from Chuck until he was already on his way and even then he never left a voicemail and my husband didnt recognize the number. He came into the house and asked to see the furnace. My husband was not made aware that there would be a service fee and was told by Chuck, IF there is a fee, dont worry it will be small. He then did some checking around and asked to see our thermostat. After a moment he asked my husband if we had a couple of AAA batteries, he popped them into the thermostat and the furnace started. He, then, presented my husband with a $118.00 fee.10 minutes, our own aaa batteries, no attempt to troubleshoot prior to showing up (without notice), no prior disclosure of service fee amounts and policies.I have since spoken with Superior Fuel (they were very empathetic and said they would follow up with TPCC); I have called TPCC twice to attempt and discuss this and have not received any callbacks.I am VERY disappointed with this service.*Update* I sent this review to TPCC prior to posting it here in order to give them time to remedy the situation. They still did not call me back but I did receive an email from the owner, Chad, stating his reasons why it was not their fault. We had water lines burst for boiler and they came out right away the next day and had it all fixed up in no time!

Short story: One tech came out, correctly diagnosed the problem and ordered a part. Called back after a week without heat to get another person tell us the first guy didnt know what he was doing, and was wrong. They begrudgingly came out to double check when we said we werent ordering another heater that day, and decided the first guy was probably right. Came back later that day with the part, but decided no, he was really right, and the first guy was wrong after all and we needed a different part. Quoted us 3 times the price I can find myself online, and said we should just get a new furnace.We called another place on Monday and found out the part we were told required a full furnace replacement was not broken. The other place fixed us right up.Tl,dr; No follow up, fought among themselves, tried to strong arm me into a new furnace and over quoted a part.
