The store is nice, but they’re always understaffed. Most of the employees are helpful, but Paul has been so unpleasant. I’ve gone through his line three times and each time he hasn’t said anything to me. The other employees will say “how are you?” “Did you find everything?” “Your total is ___” and “have a great day” but Paul has neither made eye contact nor acknowledged me any of the times I’ve interacted with him. Also, he never wears a Safeway shirt, not sure if he’s a manager or something but if he is, he shouldn’t be. He also gave me the wrong information about online pickup and was very rude about it. The women who helped me with online pickup was nice and helpful, and the Deli lady is also helpful.

Understaffed at all times. Wait time for lines is often upwards of 20 min even at self check out. God forbid management hires one more kid at minimum wage so we can get in and out of the grocery store on an acceptable time frame. Started driving 3 extra miles to King Soopers and now I save time buying groceries

Decent selection, not enough cashiers, no discount for lack of cashiers. Getting tired of having to wait twice as long because a giant corporation wont staff because of profit motive. Didnt reduce stars because they all do it and dont care about customers experience at all anymore.

This is my favorite grocer. The staff in the deli are great at slicing prosciutto properly and the woman who has been working the express lane for years now is super nice and friendly. She always says hi to the kids, has a smile on her face, and clearly knows her business. Mark in the pharmacy is so helpful, you can tell he genuinely cares about his clients. He would be perfect in an old timey pharmacy where the pharmacist knows all his clients by name. The only complaint I have is that the store is a little on the small side and so there are not as many options as a bigger store. They keep everything well stocked.

Gone to this Safeway for a while, they have a good selection of different foods and the employees are overall very kind and helpful.

Like other Safeway locations, the store has great deals on a lot of everyday items (just make sure you get there early in the day if you can...I went on a Sunday night and a lot of sale items were completely cleaned out).I give three stars because of the customer service I experienced. I had a larger amount of items in my cart so I went to the only open cashier instead of self check out. The cashier was rude and passive aggressive about the amount of items I had and was chatting with his coworker instead of saying much to me. They did not bag as well as I would’ve liked either (we’re talking two light items per bag with plenty of room)

Local grocer, reliable. Bathrooms are horrible and need renovated.

Great pot pie hot and fresh from the Deli

I went shopping for food with my boyfriend and as we entered the store an employee was stomping around to the bathrooms. We went down the isles and the man came with a giant broom from behind us almost hitting us in the feet, not even asking us to move out of the way. We encountered him in two other isles as we were going down them in order and after a third time of us moving out of his way he raised his voice and said, “Left or right guys, pick a side!” He was very rude and was huffing around. We both felt very uncomfortable to continue shopping so we quickly grabbed our items, paid and left. Hopefully others don’t have this experience as well. Very inappropriate.

Health and safety is NOT followed at this store. Its dirty and the staff are incompetent.

This is my favorite grocery store. It is usually quite and is very clean and has a good layout. It isnt the biggest Safeway but I have never had an issue finding what I need or the exact brand that I want. There pharmacy is by far the best I have ever been to. The people are so nice and helpful and quick about getting scripts ready even though they are short staffed. ( Usually only one person working) I have been going to them for 7 years and will continue because even though the pharmacist have changed the friendly and helpful attitude has not. They are currently doing a remodel as of 6-21-17 and Im not sure when it will be done so just keep that in mind if this is your first time going. All in all I highly recommend for your grocery and pharmaceutical needs.

This store handles the online delivery orders. I typically order my groceries through Amazon (a very reliable service). I placed an order Saturday night and received a confirmation for delivery on Sunday between 4-5pm. 5:30 rolls around and no food. I call the store and they tell me that the truck was cancelled. I never received a call about this... I was then told that someone would call me this morning (Monday) to confirm re-submission of my order so that it would be redelivered today. They said that they were having to do this quite a bit. Nobody ever called me. When I finally called back in I was told that I would just have to place another order. This now means that I have no food at my house. I am immunocompromised and should not be making trips out unless necessary due to the pandemic. I now have to risk everything to go get groceries. I will NEVER shop at a Safeway store again. King Soopers and Amazon have my business permanently.

What a nice, clean store with helpful employees. I don’t live near a Safeway, but I was in the area so I stopped in for my thanksgiving shopping. I found everything quickly and easily and was surprised that it wasn’t fuller. The person at the self checkout even helped me out with a club card TWICE!!! Much appreciated.

Allow customers to bring dogs in store. Pets, dont have to be vest as always allowed. I dont want others peoples dogs or their potentially dog slobber or unwashed dog poop (if they even pick up) hands touching my grocery items. Staff can pet then handle my things too. NOT COOL! The past 2 days Ive been there & not seen staff practice mask mandate use. These points make me very uncertain if l want to purchase anything here!

Amazing customer service every single time! !! Quinn and Sierrah normally check me out in the evening and always deliver great conversation. This location is very clean and well stocked. Highly recommend!!!!!

I love this store! I have been going here since I was a kid and I loved it and still do! They have everything you would need for a typical week. Limited on some things but I can always find substitutes which is great! The Starbucks there is great too. Gives me some coffee to enjoy while walking around! :) Staff is very nice and always go out of their way to help customers. Definitely recommend this store. It makes me feel like I have a family there!

I would really like to know why I’m paying for orange halves. At this location they can’t be bothered to break up the oranges even though that’s what you’re paying for. There’s some quality issues with some of the other fresh fruit too. No issue at other locations.

If you like places with groceries, then this is the place for you.

Definitely convenient for the neighborhood (no other real grocery stores nearby) and the staff is almost always friendly and helpful, but the food has suddenly gone very downhill in the past year or two. Ive been shopping at this store for 20 years, but lately Ive been seeing a LOT of rotten produce at this store. I sometimes dont discover this until getting home and cutting open an onion or a potato or a mushroom, but wow... and there are times at the store that something on the shelf smells very rotten and is visibly decayed, and no one seems to be overseeing the health and freshness of whats on sale. Ive started to drive out to Whole Foods despite the added distance and cost, just because I dont want to get sick eating rotten food from this store. :(

This is a warm and inviting neighborhood grocery store where the employees seem happy and well cared for. Most of the staff seem infinitely patient and will go out of their way to stop whatever they are doing to help the customers. I am particularly impressed with Carl and Mickey in the produce department who go above and beyond to track whatever produce you need. They know their stuff! Also, Dylan and Lori are tremendous assets...helpful, knowledgeable and forever courteous.There are some items you just cant get there, which is frustrating. You cant buy mild cheddar in a small size irrespective of how many people you ask to order it. At least I havent been able to find it there EVER so I dont even try anymore. You also cant find the more eclectic items that you can routinely find at Whole Foods. I admit that maybe my expectations are a little over the top there. They ARE more than willing to order what they dont usually stock if you arent looking for something right away (except for the darn cheese for whatever reason).It would be ideal to find everything I need in one place, but I realize this isnt Manhattan. Overall, the place has the feel of a family market in a small town which makes up for a lot! I recommend this Safeway primarily because of the dedicated and amazing staff as well as its convenient location.

I used to order online and pick up.... very handy when I was busy. Home delivery is also available from a nearby Safeway. Even had quail eggs... first time I had seen those in a grocery store!

Terrible customer service . Called just to ask if they had Advil and twice got cut off by response very limited supply. I understand there is a lot of stress at this time but kindness is very much appreciated and valued.

For such a tiny Safeway they always have something exotic to try. I wish they had more gluten free foods and then kept them reliably.

Employees do not enforce mask order inside the store. Their own sign says its required, as does our state order.

Been there twice and one register is open with five people deep and full carts. Self check-out is fine if u have a few things but not when u have more than that. I put my items back and left. Wont go back.

Very very poor services. Not sure if they understand what customer service means. Out of stock regularly on the basics, like cucumbers, I know...what and how?!?!Delivery services through app, extremely below service standards of what you think Safeway represents. Only recommendation I can make is King Soopers is the place to shop now, Safeway is losing business on the “basics”.If I could give a negative number it would be the worst possible number available.

This Safeway is typically quite adequate, meeting my expectations of this class of establishment. I frequently get gas here, and find the prices and quality of service to be reasonable. The selection within the store is usually good, and the quality acceptable. Overall, Im pleased with this Safeway, and will likely continue to shop here.

5/22/19: I would like to apologize to the staff at Safeway next to the Flatirons mall for coming into your store at 5:50 AM (store opens at 5:30 AM) and giving you my business. Even though you were open it was apparent by the negative attitudes of the staff that you were not ready for customers. I had the understanding that it is the customers that buy product from your store that eventually pay your wages but going by the rudeness of the staff I now see that I am wrong.

The service has always been great, and their selection seems to be getting better and better to satisfy the Boulder-county demographic. While Costco is our primary grocery store, this Safeway provides everything we dont want to get in bulk - and is our default store for any missing ingredients for a dinner recipe. Its also quite accessible by foot or bikes (lots of trails behind it) - if you are so inclined and live in Superior.

My wife diligently uses the Just 4 U individualized specials. Frequently the advertised items do not ring up with the appropriate discounts. She carefully checks her receipt before leaving the store. Some managers accuse her of lying others quickly refund the difference. Bait and Switch.

Store is generally clean and well-stocked, has Starbucks conveniently located right at the entrance, and the pharmacy staff are always very helpful and considerate. The parking lot is poorly designed and can be a pain to get around.

Of all the Safeways in the area (I live in Lafayette), this one is my favorite. I make the effort to drive here after visiting Costco, even though it takes me out of my way (the Louisville Safeway is on the way home). This Safeway has a better selection, better discounts (using the Safeway mobile app), and it has a gasoline station.

Waited and waited in line. Finally got to the check out and the cashier says, Im closed. Are you kidding me? Left the cart and went to King Soopers.

I live in Superior and have been shopping here since the store opened. The produce section is not as good as the KS in Louisville but it is pretty good. The prices are too high at Whole Foods for me to shop there regularly. I dont agree with the negative comments about customer service. I have never been treated poorly and in fact I have found the customer service to be excellent. I dont know what is up with those two posters who gave it a one star. Its a supermarket, not the Ritz Carlton.

Always friendly, clean, and well stocked. The Starbucks inside is great! The woman who works in the morning always makes my brevet lattes perfect!

If I could give no stars i would. The management at this place is terrible. Shopping okay, but dont even think about working here. The management thinks they are superior and act like theyre above everyone else. And they like to withhold peoples pay. Disgusting.

Too many times we buy things that are past the use by date or rots within the week. Not sure what theyre doing at this store but the merchandise is not being kept at a decent level of quality.

This Safeway is my go to store! Its right down the road from my house and (especially) with the Safeway app, its very affordable. The night manangers, Jacquie and Joe, as well as well as their team are wonderful!

This is the closest grocery store to my house, and I was very opportunistic that it would serve my needs. I was disappointed. While it is stocked with the normal grocery store items, organic offerings are noticeably lacking. The store also had a dingy appearance and feels like stepping back in time. The Starbucks kiosk is right up front and looks like any other, but the rest of the store is a bit of a let down. The one cashier I interacted with was very pleasant!

Not a fan of this store. I much prefer KingS supers. Better selection and quality.

Without a Doubt this Safeway’s Store might be the most disorganized and dirty store I have every visited. I have concern for the management and quality of the handling of food and cleanliness of the displays. The entrance is disgusting and filthy. Broken mates and full ashtrays with grime and trash everywhere. Dirty windows and doors. The shopping basket area has never been cleaned or wash down and the baskets are mismanaged and dirty. The floors are dirty and many of the offered produce has spoiled. The refrigerator cases have spilt milk and more than likely never cleaned. Exposed mouse traps are place about the store and the drains are dirty and cluttered with trash. The shelves are staked too high and impossible to obtain an item from. The check out belts are covered with dirt and stains... it amazes me that this could pass a health inspection. The parking lot surface is Broken and major potholes exist you could get lost in. This store is in a good community with good people, therefore it is shameful and an eye sore to the community. I actually refuse to shop there it is so depressing
