Went in to send a large package, I need it boxed and shipped. The man asked me “do you really want to send these”? I explained that I needed to ship it because it was something I sold to someone and needed it sent. Obviously, that’s why I was there,He measured my items and weighed the 13 bl items and told me it would be 80$ to “package “ the item….I asked if the box itself was 80$, and he said, yes, 80$ for putting the items in the box . I had to go to the post office for this one.This was not including the actual shipping cost of the package.He also asked a lot of questions about “what’s in the packages”When I do Amazon returns..? It weird & creepyDo they need to ask?He basically asked the lady in front of me in one so many questions about her package she also opted to go to the post office with her shipment as well, she was very upset.I just don’t get this place at all!? I have given them a lot of chances and some of the employees are very friendly and helpful. Nice, newer store with a great staff. The man who waited on me was treated like garbage by an angry customer ahead of me. He patiently and professionally handled the situation though it was not his or the fault of UPS for the situation. Felt bad for him. Great location and lots of parking available right at the front door.
Short version: Professional, clean and courteous. Consistent quality shipping through-out the years Ive been utilizing this location. If I dont use this particular shop; it is because Im hours away.Very infrequently do I need to ship a package, and a few years ago I happened to give this The UPS Store location a go; it was conveniently located near my primary grocery store. Well lit and clean; first impression was promising. I was welcomed when I entered, nothing over the top which I appreciate in an odd way. Service was as I expected, to the point while being courteous and professional. I have never had an issue with this location, which is the primary reason I keep returning even if I could have swung to another shipping business during my daily travels.Today I shipped another item; maybe my 4th-5th package in two years time. I received the same type of service I had on my first. I expressed this to the owner this evening, after having received the same polite and no-hassle experience. To have this consistency? It speaks volumes in my opinion. The store owner followed me out of the store to express his gratitude, and we exchanged pleasantries; thus here I am, throwing out a review to promote a business that has only ever impressed me.
Again, we gave the store one more chance, and yet again we were treated rudely by the representative. She gives off a persona of, I don’t want to be here attitude as we yet again brought in a return. I recommend the guys up at UPS in Duluth on Central Entrance! They care!
Stay away from this UPS store. Should’ve read reviews before making the drive to this location to put up with the store manager’s (Jasen) rudeness and ridiculous requests. I was getting a package shipped with a prepaid label but he refused to scan the barcode I readily provided for him. Instead, he wants to use his authority to demand for my phone number and ID. I should’ve taken that as a red flag and left at that moment. Instead, I stupidly gave him my personal information because he claimed he “needed” it in order to get my package shipped. By the way, if any of my information gets out, I will hold UPS accountable. I eventually left when he tried to charge me $8 to box up my item, which I was informed by the person I’m shipping it out to that it was included with my prepaid label. Thank goodness I left without shipping my item because who knows if it would even have gotten shipped after reading other reviews about packages not getting shipped out. Yikes! What a nightmare of a shipping store and management.
The staff here is very friendly. Jasen was patient enough to take the time to fix up some documents i had brought in and needed digitized. He was extremely helpful. Appreciate the great customer service!
I went their superior location October 1st at noon. It was the first time Ive ever sent a package. I didnt really know what I needed to do or the information I had to provide. The worker was extremely rude and I ended up leaving without sending the package out. I will never use your service again because of this employee. He was also very pushy when asking for things telling me to hurry up.
We’ve had multiple unpleasant experiences at this location. Unhelpful personnel and the manager is straight up rude.Edit: took the exact same documents to a bank to get it notarized, had no problems whatsoever. Oh, and we were treated well!

Went to bring in a “free” Amazon return and they had to charge me, but Amazon said it was free. I could have printed my own label and had ups pick it up for free.

We had a great experience. We needed a form printed from my email to their printer, the form notorized, and then faxed back. The owner, who is a Notary, saw our confusion and walked us through the process.
I’m not one to leave bad reviews or reviews in general, but I would avoid this location if you don’t want to spend extra money. I went there to drop off a package that I had sold an item from on Mercari, which is a free drop off and the owner tried to charge me 3 dollars to tape a piece of paper on the box. Not only that, but the first thing he asked was “what’s in your package” I was completely shocked as it is none of his business as to what I am shipping out. Someone else that i know said he asked her the same thing, so it wasn’t just me. I have shipped many packages out through the Duluth location and they are always so friendly and so eager to help. Half the time I can bring my item with a box and the shipping label and they’ll put everything together for me for no charge. That includes taping the box together and taping the shipping label on. One time they didn’t even charge me to print a label. Anyways, I was shocked to say the least and told him I would just go to the Duluth location. I have read other reviews about the east end location and they say the same things as me, and some of the responses from the owner are extremely sassy and unprofessional from what I have read. Overall I’d give it 1 star, if that. The owner was friendly when I walked in but that was about it.
Trying to return a package with UPS that UPS obviously didnt treat as fragile, and they want to charge me $5 to throw a piece of tape on the box. Seriously? The product wouldnt be damaged if you handled it properly to begin with. Forget it, Ill work with Amazon directly. They have customers actually come first.Update: Adding that when I called Amazon, they refunded me for the item and said not to bother.I wont be back to this local store. I appreciate customer service, going above and beyond to help a customer. The way this manager argues with anyone who leaves an honest review says it all. I’ve mostly dropped off packages at this location, and the lady who is typically behind the counter is always helpful and nice. Unfortunately, that cannot be said of the guy who was working when I needed to send a package today. Sarcastic and rude with a generally distasteful personality. Get anyone else to handle customer service because this guy is a creep. I concur with the other reviewers who say to go to the Duluth location because they never act like this. I’m never taking the chance of dealing with this guy again. So worth the trip up the Hill where they know how to treat their customers!

Jason the Owner/Manager of this location is an appsolute nightmare. Hes rude to customers and about the products that his store has to offer, heaven forbid that your have a question about shipping or how the process works. The level to which he is annoyed to have to explain something is unbelievable! Ive had more then one expensive like this. I have even had his employees remove their masks and mouth apologies to me from behind him, two different people two different times. No place of business should be conducted in this fashion. Ive mentioned this to Jason and told him Im going to speak with UPS (pending) about him and my experiences there, he told me that hes the BOSS and there isnt anyone else to talk/complain too. Hopefully this will help the next customer who is thinking about using this store and to avoid it!! There are plenty of options just a short drive away in Duluth
I needed A LOT of help with legal documents and there were literally hundreds of them! Jasen was a tremendous help and very patient with the printing and experienced explanation of these documents and how to manage them. Im honestly a very big fan, over the last 3 years Ive always had a positive experience! Ill be back there today!

I’ve used this location twice and will not be coming back, every time I’ve attempted to return something they charge me for “repackaging” the items. This is despite the fact the item was never opened from its original shipping package??
As a fellow veteran I can tell this store is veteran owned. Extremely professional and courteous. I scanned a stack and papers and realized that I didnt have the final page in the stack. I went back in and told them Id have to pay to rescan and they helped me out with charging me a second time for my mistake. You wont find help like that at any other store. Should be a 10 star option.

I went to the Superior store to have a one-sided, one-page document scanned and sent by e-mail. I couldn’t believe the price of $10.50 for one page. I’ve done the same thing at other stores for a dollar. I was told what the charge was after the process was completed. I paid, but that is, in my opinion, robbery.
The customer service was excellent! I had 4 varied packages going to the same location, they recommended consolidating them to save money and even with having them repackage ultimately saved me money and time.
-5 should be an option for a store like this that is being run by dishonest people. The attempt to up charge me for a free Amazon return was not successful because I know better… The extremely rude woman behind the counter thought if she scanned my code 1st that I would be locked in on the extra fees that were not disclosed upfront. Guess what? It doesn’t work and I will make sure everyone I know goes to a different location to be treated correctly. The other locations don’t do this so if you even think about going to the one in superior, run away or you will be sorry! What an effective way to ruin your own business…Update after the response; take note of the majority of reviews on this terribly run business and the unbelievable responses involved. Rather than trying to make the situation right with the customers, they choose to insult and belittle us instead. It’s a good thing that we do know better through the experience at other UPS locations. I will be sure to tell my friends and family and the thousands of people on my social media all about this..

I called to see if I could get some papers notarized and I was told to come on down that they are notarizing until 5pm, so I showed up within a half hour which it was about 3:30pm at this point. A gentleman named Jason told me I had to wait until they got caught up, so I stood there 45 minutes watching her m wait on everyone that came through the door and left me standing there. I finally spoke up and he did nothing about it so I left. Jason is one rude and very unprofessional human being.
Extremely rude! Even the owner guy! They try to rip you off, talk down to you, and the attitudes from all staff in the store are so horrid. If you go over to Duluth they are so nice. Listen to all of the reviews from other people who have had the same experience, and then read the ignorant responses from the owner! Tells you all you need to know.

I brought a package in on June 13. I checked the tracking number on the 25th and the package had not been shipped back to Amazon yet. I called the store,a The phone menu is very long, and was told everything would be bundled into a box and shipped when the box was full. The lady said just check the tracking number in a couple of days. I let her know it had already been 12 days since I brought it in. she repeated to check the tracking number in a couple of days and then she hung up. She did not wait for me to respond. Very disappointing.

I am from out of state and had to have some copies, notary and scanning done quickly. I was in complete panic mode wondering how I was going to get this done in a timely manner. I was helped every inch of the way. What I thought was going to be a horrible ordeal ended up being a great experience. I highly recommend this UPS store. I have never had an experience with any kind of shipping company that was this complete and yes I have dealt with many such stores there where so many services involved.
Brutal.Love the location, but due to consistent customer service issues no longer using this store, and also letting family and friends know to save them the trouble. Everywhere else I have gone has been friendly and extremely accommodating. Not the case here. First couple times I went in I chalked it up to him having a rough day, like we all do. Unfortunately its been a trend. So I will drive to duluth and give my business to a place that isnt belittling or challenging. Just read his replies to other reviews and youll get a sense of the issue. Doesnt take a detective to figure it out. Nickle and diming you is the name of the game here. And when I refused to pay the packaging fee for a package that was already ready to be shipped by a pre-paid package. He deemed that my package needed some additional tape on the package. Again, I remained polite and came back with the package properly packed and I was questioned about WHAT TYPE OF TAPE I USED. As if they cant take it. I looked up the UPS guidelines for packages to educate myself incase I was wrong, I have been wrong before, often more times than not. So I will Share their GUIDELINES with you sir so that you understand the importance of flexibility and adaptability in the marketplace. I sincerely hope you stop downplaying peoples concerns in the reviews and take a hard look at the MOST important and valuable feedback you can get. I do hope your business makes a turn for the better. Shipped 2 packages on the same day at 4:30 pm. One was overnight, arrived at its destination, Milwaukee the next morning at 9:00 am. The other was regular shipping it arrived in Texas in 2 days(around 36 hrs) as scheduled. Excellent communication at the store and tracking information.
Update: The owner is dishonest. As the package was shipped from another UPS store at no cost to me. As his words clearly said, he is out to make extra money. Do not use his store. He will try to make you pay extra.I received a package already opened in a damaged box that UPS delivered. Amazon gave me a return code to ship it back for free. They said put it in the box it came in, cover all labels and bring it to UPS for free shipping.The manager at the UPS store at 2202 east 2nd st, Superior, WI refused to mail the package as is without additional fees ($15 for free shipping). He claimed that is how we make money. He also said with the code, only UPS Stores can ship it back. When I protested the fee, he wouldnt even tell me what it was at first!! Horrible service and rotten manager!

I have visited this store several time with mixed results but today I had to return a package to Walmart and they had sent me a prepaid mailing label. I could not print it at home but thought they could print it. They charged me $19.95 to use their computer when I thought I agreed to $2.00. Then there were some little flaws in the box and they charged $5.00 to put tape on the flaws that were there when I received the package. I know this is an independent store but $19.95 to use their computer and print out 1 piece of paper is ridiculous.Another timed I returned an Amazon package and the lady charged $2.00 to put a piece of tape on the bag.I’m changing the number of stars. Since posting this review, I received a reply from the store. Seems like the $19.95 is just a hold on my card. Actually the charge was under $3.00. I’m ok with that. I was not aware of the hold process. Thank you for your response.
I give this store a negative 5. My father-in-law had a package shipped to us second day air from them on the Friday before New Years (December 28th). He was never informed that this package was not going to go out until January 2nd, which is the day he thought it was going to arrive and the day we needed it to arrive. So, he paid 52.00 for a package that he could have shipped snail mail. It makes me very angry that people are not more clear on what is going on, but are perfectly fine with taking your money.
I needed to send a package to my grandson and I am 1500 miles from home. The woman at the counter was super at getting me taken care of and explaining my options.
