Not that the dealership is going to miss 1 customer so Ill write this for the people thinking of going here. I took my truck in for service and they dripped oil over my intake manifold and never bothered to clean it or wipe it off. They also reccomend that my next service be done in about 13,000 miles. That must be some good engine oil theyre putting in there because Manufacturers suggest is 5k miles.

Nicholas Thompson was my service advisor and he is consistently A+++. He always greets me while a smile and positive attitude. I was quickly checked in, everything was explained and I was back out on the road earlier than expected. I would also like to say that in an era of almost no customer service, Nicholas hits it out of the park by answering all of my questions, taking his time to explain (in detail) the best options and making sure I am well informed of everything my car needs in order to keep it running for years to come. Hes the reason I wont take my car anywhere else for service.

I was looking to have my 2018 chevy truck serviced with an oil change and filter, and transmission serviced. I tried calling the main phone line multiple times only to have someone pick up the phone and hang it up without saying anything. I tried calling the service department directly and got a message of there is no one currently available to take your call before the line disconnected. Super frustrating. I guess this dealership doesnt want my money.

He was extremely professional, but at the same time displayed warmth and caring. I drive a Chevy Volt and had problems with my charging and radiator for the battery as well.I have a lot to unpack, Ill try to be short and to the point. They have no communication, everyone was confused and lost as to what to do with my situation ( even the GM!? ). Ken was my contact and he left a lot out or lied his way out. Promises were made and never kept, have everything in writing is their belief. My car was also held from me when I wanted a second opinion. Granted I may be a special case where everything that could go wrong will go wrong and I dont wish this on anyone to be in such a situation. Im definitely going to the FTC or the proper organization to file a complaint and check over the dash videos with a lawyer. Plus they possible worked on my car for maybe a week and they held it for ( it doesnt seem real ) two months! Im not writing this threatening, out of spite, what have you, but my experience was egregious, horrific, just unbelievable terrible. I will write this though, please be careful and double check with yourself if what youre doing is right with your car. I will admit I wanted my car fixed as fast as it could and trusted people I shouldnt have. Again please be careful.

I have a 2013 Malibu that I took in for a failing alternator. I dealt with Service Advisor Tom who was pleasant for the most part. However, I’m fairly certain they took advantage of me though because they called me to say that something was wrong with the battery cable and fuse block that caused my alternator to fail. So of course it’s going to be an additional $500 to replace that. 😤. Later that night I spoke with my dad who actually teaches automotive technology and repair. He said that I had been taken and nothing with that cable or fuse block could have caused the alternator to fail.Also, I was passed off to Service Advisor Nicholas for the financing paperwork. This guy had a rude and condescending tone with me from the moment he spoke. He obviously thinks he’s God’s gift to the world.This was the last time I will use this dealership!

Absolutely abhorrent, I strongly discourage anyone from doing business with them. My mother, a 10 year local first responder volunteer needed to purchase a vehicle after insurance totaled the last one. My father was TDY and she arranged transport to Sands for an appointment she had via online to look at a specific vehicle. She arrived early and ready to inspect the vehicle, two males saw her and walked away. She called the person who the appointment was set with several times getting no answer. After a half hour wait, she left. The person she had the appointment with called two hours after the appointed time saying they were busy. I am disgusted that they would treat her this way. I dont know if it was that she was a middle aged female alone, how she arrived, or why on earth they would dismiss her this way. While they are not ones to parade their military or first responder service, I strongly discourage anyone from these families doing business with them. Integrity first, service before self, and excellence in all we do. Sands has shown no of these and deserves no business from me or you.

Well we waited 5 hours for our car for an oil change and we had to go back to the dealership never got a call. When we did call we were transferred to our service advisor Nate, he didnt answer then we were hung up. When we got there to get our car I was told he left for the day so I was transferred to no one. Not happy. Also we got charged $50 to but our window crank back on the door. I can understand charging us for the parts but to charge us half hour of labor when it took the technician 2 mins to do it is ridiculous. We could have just taken the parts and done it ourselves. The price should have been told to us before they did the work and before we even had to pick it up. Because we werent communicated with it made a $50 oil change into a $100 bill for us. Not happy at all.

After dealing with other service department Sand was the only one willing to put the time in to find an fix electrical problem I was having. Finace department is one of the most horrible departments I have ever dealt with, Eddie lies and wont return phone calls. I have called asked to talk to the Eddie, GM or Owner and havent been able to talk to any of them. What a great way to run a business. I will never recommend this place if business. They say to call and talk with them, but they dont let you talk with any manager or owner!! SUPER DISAPPOINTED.

Had known issue with auxiliary battery on Duramax which I believed to be under warranty. Was notified both batteries tested bad and were under warranty but tech was unable to remove negative cable from auxiliary battery so must be replaced at cost of ~$250. I instructed that I wanted old cable back and advisor left handwritten note in cab of truck instructing this. Upon arrival after repairs, cost was over $300 and I could not have cable back because it was still connected to battery. Was not offered opportunity to pay core charge and keep battery. Real made me feel there was a lack of integrity and really just needed something to charge me for.

The dealership had a professional and peaceful atmosphere. Out of the many dealerships Ive visited to look at cars, this had the most widespread selection, even for used non-Chevy vehicles too. I highly recommend visiting Sands Chevrolet if you are looking to buy a car. Also, ask for Trace H. We had phenomenal service from him! He was patient and professional as we explored different models. I didnt feel pressured during the entire time we worked with Trace and he quickly anticipated our needs as we were looking. He respected what I was looking for, helped us narrow down our search, and explained the specs of the vehicles clearly and respectfully. Overall, we had a great experience from this dealership.

Brought my car in for repair to the A/C. You were able to negotiate the price down by $1000.00. I had it returned the next day and the issue was not completely resolved. I contacted George and he had me bring it back in the next morning. By that evening it was up and running. I picked my vehicle up and there was no extra charge. You guys made it right, George was wonderful to work with. I could tell he really cared about me, the customer, and advocated on my behalf. Thank you again. The prices for an oil change are outstanding. I would like to give a shout out to the man who washed my truck. I took notice to the care he took with other customer’s cars and how he washed mine. It was outstanding. This was the first time that a staff member did such a great job washing it at this dealership. Every other time it was not so great, but this time it was wonderful.

I contacted Sands Chevrolet after a terrible encounter with Midway Chevrolet and my, my, my—the difference! I spoke with a gentleman named Gage in the service department and was met with a quality interaction and expertise that is unmatched! He listened to my issues, gave me a better quote and remained professional and personable—he even made sure I was able to get one with my day by offering a free shuttle home and back upon completion of my service. Without prompting, Gage also advised of free vacuuming and added a car wash. I was put at ease with his confidence on taking care of me and am still smiling from our exchange. DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THIS DEALER!!!Two weeks ago, I stepped into the Sand Chevrolet in Surprise, AZ located on Waddell road. I did a trade in of a 2015 Nissan for a 2018 Mazda. I talked with Patrick who was our dealer. Patrick was very nice in trying to find a car that fit in my budget. I told him that I needed a car that would fit in a $10-$15K walk out the door price. The price they quoted me for the Mazda was in the $12000.00 range. I decided to get it. I told Patrick that we would have a $1000 down payment on top of the trade in value. I waited almost 2 hours for a financial rep. When I finally got a financial rep, I met with Eddie. Eddie seemed very rushed and not focused on our loan. He kept getting things mixed up. He first thought we were doing a purchase for a Nissan. Then he thought we were doing a trade in with a Nissan for a Nissan. He wasnt very focused. After the deal was done and I left with the vehicle, I got a phone call asking for the $2000 down payment. I told him that I wasnt doing a $2000 but that Patrick had said I could do a $1000. Eddie said that he had already ran the loan and that I needed to do a $2000 down payment. On top of this, I get the loan documents and review them and see that the loan is made for $20,000.00 not the $12000.00 that I was quoted!! Needless to say, I am not happy with this!!!

Going in, I was quiet nervous and uneasy about getting an estimate to sell my lease, and for hopping in a new one. Throughout my visit, I was completely blown away at how relaxing this experience became for me. Bought a new 2021 Silverado 1500 Z71 w/3.0 diesel from Sands Chevrolet in Surprise Arizona. Really like the truck, the power and smoothness of the 3.0 turbo diesel is incredible.THE GOOD: Sales staff and finance was great working with, they do their job well. The collection of old cars in the showroom.THE BAD: The dealer insisted they install the desert protection package (nitrogen in tires, tinted windows, film on door edges and door pulls) and the serialized window etching, for an extra $2000. Also I did not receive all the sales paperwork, they said it would be mailed to me, two weeks later and still waiting.**************************************************************************Update: Who would you recommend that I talk to? I already talked to Sales and Customer Service.**************************************************************************Update #2: Six weeks later and I still dont have the sales paperwork for my new truck. Sorry about this review, but the disfunction at this dealership is incredible.

So I made an appointment to have my tailgate adjusted and to have my trailer brake controller checked for a light that said it needs service. Its a brand new truck and it was getting window tinting done at 9:00 AM and I had a 12:00 appointment in service for the brake controller. I was told service could not squezee me in to have the brake controller check. What do you mean? I had an appointment set for a week and a half! so its crazy but it didnt get done service MGR John said they didnt have the correct tool to check it and would get back with me.... still wait for a tool that was ordered to check the problem.. apparently Im the first guy to have such a problem on a new truck...

Shout out to George at Sands Chevy service dept. Never have I experienced such a level of customer service in 15 years. George was so nice, helpful, informative, he answered all of my many questions with genuine kindness, a good sense of humor. Gave detailed information of services needed coming up, pricing, etc and was understanding when I told him I want to check with a friend for possibly having these services done less expensive. He kept me posted all day during the services I was having done and was just very nice to work with, friendly, excellent customer service. I never write reviews, but I had to because he is awesome.

Overpriced. Auto Zone offers a refund for the alternator core. Sands charged me $400 for a $200 part that would have been less than that considering the core. Labor fee was like $600 on top of that, so even if it was 2 workers at 10hours thats $30/hour. I barely financed this car from Sands 1 year ago and already this issue. Ive been coming to this dealership for the past 7+ years and still get yanked around like this. I am considering leaving the GM/Chevy family.

Very easy dealer to work with, the sales people and all the staff there are very friendly and helpful. Ive never had the service people walk me around the dealership to meet people, and walk me over to the waiting area, all the others just point to where its at.The dealership itself is very clean and neat, all areas are presented exceptionally well. Their waiting area is nice and spread out, with COVID who doesnt need that, and spotlessly clean. They also offer a lot of free services that I have not seen other dealerships do so they are worth stopping by and checking them out.We will definitely be long term customers of this dealership and will highly recommend them to everyone.My only suggestion is the finance officer should not push the extra warranty. I dont mind it being offered at all, but if I say Ill pass then that should be the end of it Not my first vehicle by a long shot, wont be my last either.He did a great job having everything ready and the process was quick, he was friendly and personable. But personally in my opinion, when offering the extended warranty you should have a simple printout going over the highlights of what it covers. When meeting with a new customer just hand it to them, discuss the benefits, and if they say pass or NO, dont look let down that they said no and move on without pressing, even a little.

I purchased a Chevy Trax from Sands Chevrolet when I was severely injured in a crash and needed a vehicle that I could drive one-handed. Fast forward three years and my vehicle needs had changed to something with high clearance and 4 wheel drive. I was contacted by a sales rep to see if I was interested in a new Trax; I replied no but would be interested in something different with 4x4 and high clearance, preferably white. It must have been fate as a white Colorado ZR2 had just been delivered. The rest is history, I traded in the Trax and now have a more appropriate vehicle.

Check-in was quick even though I arrived 45 minutes earlier than my appointment. All work was completed within 3 hours even though my maintenance was quite extensive. Henry Smith was a pleasure to deal with and had no problem with me bringing my own oil, oil filter and K&N filter to replace my factory engine air filter. I will request to work with Henry again when I need maintenance.

Lost my busines because I told them I didnt want my credit run, I already had pre-approval from my personal bank.Salesman said If you want to take the truck today we highly recommend internal financing ON A SUNDAY!!!! Told them I wanted to check with my bank Monday to co firm a few things and would call back then. Called monday, had the finance guy on the line with my bank at the same time and heDamn near scolded me sayingto me and I quote you got upset and left.Bottom line guy tells me truck sold and its still sitting on the lot.
