Love this place. The couple that owns it are just nicest people and knowledgeable of the product which is important to me.

I took my son to their Annual Free Comics Day, the owner brought in Artists (bought some of their artwork, with a personalized signature - hes on Cloud 9!!). The owner was talking to everyone - seems like a genuinely good dude. I highly recommend this place!!

Went for the first time today. Great selection of stuff and the lady working there was soo nice. Cant wait to go back and congrats on your big place!

Only went once but enjoyed it. The employee working was very friendly and eager to help. As a business owner I had a question about the card processing equipment they used and the company and he took the time.to talk to me about it in detail. I will definitely be visiting again. I stopped going to comic shops when I moved to Surprise in 2009. Now I will start again.

I really like this place! They have comics, gifts, etc. They have some used comics that look like new. And if there is something you want that is not in stock they will order it for you.

We are incredibly fortunate to have this little shop right here in Surprise. They have a great selection of comics and collectibles.

Very helpful. Came to the store to get my daughter some amime comic books for her birthday. I was able to give the store owner a name of a comic book she was interested in and he directed me to some suggestions and she loved them. Thanks for the help Surprise Comics.

Just went in for the first time today with my 3 kids. Awesome experience. The owner Matt is a good dude, he was friendly and kind and showed us around the shop. My kids had a blast looking at all the cool stuff they have in stock. All kinds of comic books and graphic novels. Cool little mini figures, Funko Pop figures, keychains, posters, stickers and basically everything you would expect to find in a comic book store. The shop also brought back some great memories for me as I have not been to a comic book store in about 25 years. I highly recommend this store and would suggest you check it out. Great place and a great opportunity to support a local business.

Great place. Great atmosphere. Not boxes and piles of stuff to overwhelm you when you go in. The comics are displayed on the wall and easy to see. They know their stuff, from the artist and writers to how the comics have been printed and stored. I found more than what I was looking for, stuff that I thought I was too late to find. They even have some original artwork for sale. Cool place. Nice people.

Matt and Surprise Comics is one of the best Comic Shops in the valley! Great selection of comics and very low prices. Matt is also always up for a good conversation! I love this place!

Every time I go in, even if its been a month, they remember who I am, that goes a long way in my book. Also they have pretty much any comic you want, or they can get it if they dont.

I will consistently come to this shop because of the kind and personable owners. After a few regular visits they know me by name, know my interests, make reasonable recommendations, and overall just make me feel welcome. It is not the biggest shop in the west valley and it has no ambitions to be; however, they consistently make decisions to maintain a loyal customer base. That is why I keep going back. Surprise, Goodyear, and Litchfield Park people, take note...this is where you should buy your comics.

These folks go out of their way to find what you want. From current comics to obscure and or signed items they will try and find it. Good deals and selection on Funkos as well. They will even have famous local talent in for autographs and a chat.

Cool little comic store for Surprise. They have a ton of new comics, some old stuff too. A lot of collectibles including a large selection of mini-figures very similar to lego. Not a huge store but definitely worth a visit.

Surprises escape from the mundane. Finally have a place to go for comics that isnt mainstream like Samurai. I nice little shop with rarities and everything in between.
