Love Costco! The staff, management, and policy foundation which it is running on is what makes it such a great place. We will go here more than our local grocery store.

The Christmas stuff is out, Costco is getting me in the holiday spirit! The toy section is legit and they have a Costco themed puzzle right now. I saw dog, beer, wine, chocolate advent calendars! The have some unique items at a great price of course. I like to spot for a slice of pizza and soda when the Cafe is not too busy, which is almost never. Never do I get more excited to shop anywhere else like Costco!

For years... and years... we would stop at a Costco and pay for the membership. Wed go in, buy a few things, not go back again, and the membership would expire. A year or two later wed try again, and do the same thing.This one opened fairly close so we figured maybe we would actually use it. We have used it more than just the one time. Gas is cheaper, but its still out of the way so we end up paying more somewhere else for convenience. The only thing we really buy in the store is food, and only a few certain items. A lot of it seems a little pricey.Costco customers all seem to have the same attitude - no matter which Costco weve been to.So its a little out of the way and 9 times out of 10 wed rather just go somewhere else rather than deal with the Costco attitude people.

TV arrived as a clearly repackaged and used model. Bowing box at top, when we pulled it out there were scratches all over the front screen film. The power cord was not wrapped or secured and it had paint on it. After plugging it in the tv wouldn’t even power on. Got red light, would hear a click and then nothing.Costco logistics should never deliver a returned//opened tv as new. In addition they are suppose to check the tv is working prior to leaving.We took it back to the store (didn’t want to wait another 10 days since Costco logistics is exceptionally slow) and they had 14 in-stock but the entire process was a pain and time-consuming cuz they simply can’t exchange they have to refund, ring and and sell it all over - which makes zero sense. Especially the way credit cards work and such a large purchase. Literally a ludicrous process.Additionally, after screwing up the return twice and it taking 45 minutes for what should be a 5-minute exchange - after all that the manager never apologized, never said anything about the process and offered us absolutely nothing.Slow shipping in this day and age of 2-day shipping I ordered an OLED TV - well over 10 days for delivery even though the TV was in-stock in store (didnt have big enough car for it). They also are so out of date on basic tech that retail has now - cant tell you stock in store online, no curbside pickup option, they deliver from a warehouse instead of from the store. They are so out of touch with it being 2021 and how retail operates. Severely behind the times and unwilling to improve their company tech.

I love Costco because as busy as they are they are always friendly and helpful.. Until today. I was charged for a additional item I didnt have and it was a honest mistake and they credited my card right away and they couldnt had been more apologetic, no problem at all. Then the girl at the door, Ashley, couldnt figure out why my receipt item count was off (1 item less in my cart then the receipt), I kept pointing out 1 item was crossed off as I was charged for something I didnt have and refunded at checkout. She kept cutting me off telling me her count was off when she counts. So I let her count again and have attitude, then for the 3rd time pointed out one item crossed off so her count was correct and not to go by the bottom of the receipt. She didnt get it, shoved my receipt at me and said have a nice day and walked off because she figured I was the one missing a item so screw me, major attitude! Really? So unnecessary and not typical Costco. Sorry she didnt understand the crossed off item I didnt have and the total item count on the receipt would be one short, but their is enough hate in the world and I really didnt appreciate being treated like that by Costco and their mistake they made. Ashley at the door needs a attitude adjustment!

Pretty good at getting the lines down at check out! Good selection.

For a Saturday afternoon the store was busy. We found what we were shopping for and left promptly.

This place was bustling, as expected, just 6 days after its grand opening. The store was huge and tidy. The selection of goods seems a bit more high end and diverse than my usual store in Avondale--more like the offerings in the nicer neighborhoods of Phoenix.

This Costco is new so everything about it is outstanding. Very clean, well stocked and a good variety of prepared meals. Not packaged meals but prepared by the meat department. Very tasty.

Always fun to visit, and leave more $$$ than we planned to.

Amanda in optical is the epitome of exceptional customer service. Amanda took the time to understand my needs and went above and beyond for me. Although, I wasn’t buying new glasses and just looking for some help to repair existing glasses, Amanda didn’t treat me any different. She was courteous, kind, knowledgeable, and great to do business with. If you ever need any optical services I would work directly with Amanda and this staff. They know what they’re doing and they are extremely courteous. Amanda thank you! Your efforts to go above and beyond for your customers is beyond appreciated!

Great shopping experience! Department Floor personnel were very friendly and helpful. They helped us find everything we needed for our outdoor event!

Excellent wide open place to shop... Anything and everything you can think of from sheds to pre-made dinners clothes including puma Calvin Klein all kinds of good stuff... Prices are pretty excellent not usually too crowded for checkout. Also grab a pizza if you can best $10 pizza in the biz... We get a pizza about once a week though that good family of six

Nice Costco. New so everything is great. Food court seating is open and it was packed. Lines for checking out werent bad at all. If coming from 303 I would recommend going through light and turning into parking lot and gas pumps then turning at light and trying to get there. Thats only reason I dont give it 5 stars is parking lot. Its also a pain when coming out of gas area, if someone is going left and you are trying to go right, you cant see.

We went on a Saturday so of course it was busy. But we were able to get the items we needed and get out rather quickly. Store was clean and the staff was very helpful and friendly.

The employees are very helpful. For many items, Costco has the best prices. Its nice to shop less when buying in bulk for a better price.

I have never been to a new costco & then to see the beautiful furniture was very nice. I really liked the store. Took me awhile to get around & see thingsI think it would take most of the day if a person had the time. Its about the same distance as the one I usually go to so Im pretty sure itll go back...

I bought the 2 large squishmallows for 19.99 and this costco is a nice location they were fully stocked and had lots of stuff I couldnt find anywhere else!

I got off work to a dead battery. I stopped by the new Surprise location to get a new battery. Kevin in the tire shop came out to help me. Luckily it was just some corrosion on the positive cable. Kevin went far and beyond to get me on the road. Thanks Kevin!

09/01 Many are inquiring if Costco Suprise has jobs openings. There is none available as the Costco in Christown Spectrum, Phoenix will be closed and many employees will be transferred to this Costco.08/18 Costco just lower their gas price to $1.95. Gas station opened for business 08/06. Warehouse grand opening 09/24.

Its always great to shop at Costco. However I would like to see more whole foods and organic produce.

I cant stand going to Costco...with my kids. Too much going on with way too many people coming out of nowhere with their 3 overfilled carts, making a run for the cheesecake. There is too much stuff I want to buy, so its hard to only get what you need.

What can I say I just love Costco! We dont have one where I live so I have to drive about an hour and a 1/2 to get to 1. Im like a kid in a candy store when I get there.

The shopping was as you would expect it to be at a Costco. But I did want to try the food they serve. It wasnt bad and was pretty cheap. Overall, I had no trouble shopping or eating here.

Just as good as ever. I was there to get 4 new tires on my Toyota and did a little shopping while I waited. I had a 10:00AM appointment so they werent crowded. It was nice to have the whole place (almost) to myself.

Went early for Senior hours last Thursday. Not crowded at all. Found everything we wanted. Used the self checkout. Great experience.

Great if you are buying bulk. You can get certain items very cheap. I find them overpriced on a good majority of there items. I do however like there gas prices.

Great Place definitely differs from South Florida, alcohol on the main floor makes easier to check out. Larger variety of products that are conducive to the geographic area. Associates definitely have a better attitude than South Florida.

Not particularly fond of how crowded this Costco always is, but the amazing employees are what make my shopping experience great every time. Everyone from the cashiers to the cart collectors are always very friendly and helpful.

I love the new Costco, its so much more convenient than going to Glendale. They always have a great selection and and plenty of employees to help you. They have many organic options which is a great plus. Good selection of meats and premade meals.

Mobile scooters were readily available and charged in and out quick and efficient service as usual

Love Costco! Tried self check for first time. Not as user friendly as some but better than not having it, like before. Lines are still crazy long but self check was short.

Really loved this table in the store. But when we went to assemble it, found that the hole is on the wrong side. 😓 Its so freaking heavy theres no easy way of even bringing it back either.

Went in with my nephew and after shopping the guy at self check out went above and beyond his duty and scanned all my items for me in the two different orders I did with my SIL. Great Costco with very friendly staff

I prefer a longer drive to this location than the closer one in Avondale. New, clean, and less busy. Gas station is never a mess like in other locations. Wish they had a drive thru car wash like the one in Glendale.

After the mask mandate was lifted... it was a lot nicer to shop around and not get harassed by store associates.

You shouldnt be made to feel like you need to be frisked to shop here. If I didnt have a membership card for your establishment, I wouldnt be able to checkout would I? So harass me like I dont belong there? Thatll retain members in the future. Sams Club seems far more appealing all of the sudden.....

Drove 20 miles from McDowell Costco looking for ladies 32D brand thin hoodies in more sizes. Paid 14.97 at McDowell Costco- not marked down less than 35 minutes prior.. found 3 at Surprise Costco. Manager refused to honor the same price. Gave us 1 at 14.97 and we had to pay 19.97 for the other 2. This lack of customer service and care has about the customer has me seriously disappointed and I will never shop at that store again..And I really like the store, but being treated as a valued customer is the key. Seriously shocked.

Ive noticed that all the costcos arent carrying the many products I came to get. I get pandemic,but theyre carrying a lot of keto and vegan and less for the masses. Water is limited and paper towels were non existent. Again pandemic. Condiments are very limited and freezer section is hit or miss on the regular stuff. I guess costco is more of a bargain bin and less of a stock up staples and favorites. Sad times we now live in

Extremely busy, way too many people for what the store can handle, a fire hazard no doubt. Checkout took 45 minutes, very crazy. Also no propane refill station which the arrowhead store has, big inconvience!

The general shopping area is good, but the food area is the worst. If you order anything expect to wait as long as it takes to make all the ingredients needed for what was ordered. The first few times we assumed it was because they had just opened, but many times later its still the same issue. This is something I had never experienced at any other Costco.

Another favorite. We prefer Costco over Sams!

Im consistently frustrated by their limited selection (for example why only sell organic refried beans - let me choose!), and they constantly stop us during checkout and call another employee over to try to up-sell us to the higher membership.Unpopular opinion, but I have come to realize that I honestly prefer the nearby Sams Club.There are only a couple items I would prefer to get at Costco but I find myself loathing going there because I dont want to deal with the crowds.

If I could give zero stars I would! The mask mandate (which was never a law) is over. Kick me out of your store even though I cant wear a mask due to health problems. Very unprofessional. Its an hour before closing on a Friday night. I bought some glasses a few weeks ago and they just werent right. I called a few days before and they said bring them in. I wanted to avoid the crowds so thats why I went at 7:30pm on Friday. There were 2 people working in the optical department and neither one could help me. They were very pleasant but I couldnt even leave the glasses there because they said they might lose them. They told me to come back but to call first to make sure someone was there who could help me. I actually did try to call before I went tonight but nobody answered the phones. I told them that and they said it was because 2 people called out. Why bother even staying open if you cant help out the customer? Now I have to go back on another day BUT call before I go to make sure someone who is qualified is there and can help me. Sure seems to be pretty inefficient to me.

Just to be able to shop for clothes, food paper towels tires,and to eat thats my kind of store I like one stop shopping I will say. The meat is kinda of over price for me 45.00 dollars for 4 steaks is kind of pricey but other then that I like the people whom work there are friendly the customers are respectful and willing to give advice about different cuts of meat that are better then sirloinThank you Costco for having a clean store whom will help a customer without saying I dont know. To busy, not enough parking, hard to get fuel, tried 3 times at one pump out of fuel.Also hard to get fuel Because, not enough pumps, to long of linesWe have had a membership since they have opened, we have only been 3 times, pretty much hate going there. NOT A FAN.Love Sams Club.

In past I always went to Peoria Store. They opened in Surprise but it is not nearly as shop friendly. So many items I cannot find as not in same area as other storesOften totally unrelated to area the item us located with.

I visited COSTCO on Sunday, June 20th, and was so disappointed. I went to renew my membership, only to be told they do not take Mastercard! I was told at the membership desk they would only take Visa, checks, or cash.So, I left. They lost a membership, sales, and a very angry customer. Im sure its just 1 angry person, and will have no consequence for COSTCO.Save yourself some time...SAMS CLUB is looking good to me.

This is the new, big Costco on Waddel Rd near the 303. Theres tons of parking with good spacing between cars. Inside is well stocked, has wide isles, and offers more products than the older stores in the Phoenix area. We were there on a Tuesday afternoon and it didnt seem too busy. Checking out only took a few minutes (no long lines). Prices seem to be normal for Costco, but I have not done a careful comparison. Bottom line, this is a great new store here in the western valley. We will be shopping there every month.
