Id made an appointment for vaccines online. It was scheduled for 9:50am so I arrived at the store 10 minutes early. There was a note on the door stating that the store was temporarily opening at 10am instead of 8. Apparently they arbitrarily make up their own hours at the Susanville location! This late opening caused a big backup at the pharmacy so I had to wait nearly an hour before my name was called. The pharmacist was the nicest person there so he made up for my wait. After my vaccines I tried to shop. What a joke! Empty shelves, stock still in boxes blocking the aisles, and not a single Autumn decor item in sight even though it was featured in the ad. Then, to top it off, the cashier tried to fit my 2 bags worth of food purchases into 1 bag. I had to INSIST on a second bag because I was on foot! DO NOT BOTHER TO SHOP AT THIS HORRIBLE STORE!! They dont deserve our business. BTW, Im a retired retail buyer, manager and customer service trainer.

So far this is definitely one of the better Rite Aids that I have been to and had to have prescriptions filled at. The Pharmacist is extremely nice and goes out of his way to help.

Love this Pharmacy! Barbara Turner is an awesome Pharmacist! Always willing and able to answer questions about medications. The Techs here are the best. ALWAYS going out of their way to get Insurance opportunities handled. THIS Pharmacy always goes the extra mile! LOVE the new location!

Rite Aid has a lot of things you wouldnt expect to find in a drug store. Like seasonal items, jewelery, household products & electronics. They have a Thrifty Ice Cream counter here and you can also buy cartons in the freezer section. They sell pizzas and other frozen foods and alcohol here as well.

We usually just go here for icecrem. 🍦

Brought in an unopened hair dye to return because was family member bought wrong box. Well we walked in and stood by the door and the cashier saw us- looked right us. Then told us they could not give us back the full value of the purchase. Now I understand if we had been walking around and he hadnt witnessed us walking holding the box but thats not the case. I have a very large and extended family, and none of us will shop at Rite Aid again! Very disappointed.....

I really like the Pharmacists that work here at Rite Aid but the cashiers should have to take some classes in customer service. Today I went there at 8:15 am on my way to work and this red head was soooo rude. No greeting just whats your birth date. Then she threw my prescription and paperwork in the drawer at the driver thru. Not a thank you come again or anything she just walked away. The customer service there definitely needs a make over.

After an issue at Walgreens where they wouldnt fill a prescription for liquid acetaminophen and liquid ibuprofen for my husband who has throat cancer and just had surgery but wanted me to pay 60.00 + dollars for it over the counter in 4 oz bottles we came to Rite Aid. Wow the service was excellent, they were helpful, accomidating and understanding and we got the quanity prescribed and it was run thru insurance and cost 15.00 and change. Excellent service!!!!

Pharmacist argues with me saying my daughter is a boy and what is his last name no its a girl and that girl is my daughter. And she says well its a boys name whats his last name like l dont know what im freaking talking about. Im furious with Rite aid like how disrespectful can you be!!!!

We were so impressed with the pharmacy in this Rite Aid . We were up here on vacation from San Diego and my fiancée had been seen in the Er 2 days ago for an infection. Long story short they called and needed to change his meds. He wasn’t doing well and we were considering going to the ER and it’s the 4th of July. The hospital we saw Tuesday in San Diego called in the new prescription and we only had 30 mins to drive 35 miles before they closed. I called And explained the story and they waited for us to get there. Really above and beyond. There are people that truly have a heart. Thank you so much to Matt for sticking around to help us out!MK

I went through the drive thru. No greeting till the tec was ready. After handing her the prescription she walked away. We waited a few minutes. She came back and asked if we needed any thing else. With the additude, Like I should know her job was complete. Didnt feel welcome. Or that thy were happy I chose Rite aid over Walgreens.

This pharmacy has the rudest people I have ever encountered. No customer service whatsoever! They all seem to hate their job or just hate people in general. Im switching all my medications to a different pharmacy after using rite aid for years.

Plenty of merchandise to choose from. Although slightly difficult to locate some items.
