We used WBS through our home builder and would NOT recommend them. Our negative experiences entailed very poor communication, extremely slow product delivery, and just about everything was delivered incorrect or damaged. Our home build was endlessly being held up while waiting for products to be delivered, then they would show up incorrect and the waiting process would start all over again. When the products would finally show up correct it would look like they came from the scratch and dent department — full price products with scratch and dent quality. It’s incredibly upsetting to have your doors, cabinets, shelving, etc come with so many scratches, dings, dents, nicks, and gouges in them. We purchased a few of our doors ourselves (independent of WBS and our builder) through a reliable building supply company and they showed up perfectly and timely, so everything arriving late and like it fell off a truck is not industry standard.

My experiences with WBS have not been very good. The staff are not very helpful and are consistently slow in dealing with customers. Youll probably get the lumber that you need, but be aware that you might be waiting a while to get it.

I am a project manager for a remodeling company. I have found them to be extremely reliable, and fair on pricing. Vince from their sales team is great to work with. I highly recommend them as part of your construction team.

Horrible experience with WBS being the main supplier for my home build. Just about everything showed up wrong and/or damaged. They dont seem to care about the quality of the product that is delivered and are unwilling to make things right. Would not recommend Wisconsin Building Supply to anyone.
