I have been a patient of Dr Winter for 5 years. He is by far the best eye doctor I have ever visited! He really goes out of his way to explain each step of the eye examination including sharing visual details. His staff is extremely friendly and professional. They provided everything I needed for a contact lens rebate in a convenient form. I highly recommend the Sussex Eye Care Center!

I love my new contacts! For the first time in years, I am not rushing home to get them out of my eyes. Dr. Winters is great and took a lot of time with me as a new patient explaining eye health to me. I highly recommend him and Sussex Eyecare Center.

Dr. Winter and his staff are awesome! Everyone was so friendly when I showed up for my appointment and I felt like Dr. Winter really took his time explaining everything. I paid cash for my visit and contacts, and his staff found a rebate for me and assembled all the paperwork I would need to submit for that rebate, which was really beyond the level of care I am used to receiving. So glad I made the switch from eye care in big warehouse stores to a private clinic.

I went there for my first exam with you guys the office ladies were wonderful but Dr Winter is very stand offish. I thought i had an eye condition when I went in so I asked them to get my husband. He was on the phone with his mother and the doctor very ignorantly asked him to leave. I am willing to talk this out one time. No offense intended. The staff was helpful and friendly, and Dr Winter took the time to explain things to me. A really good experience compared to places Ive been to in the past.

Very rude staff. Was hoping I could change from my normal eye care place to be closer to home, but will make the drive from now on. Im spending money at your place of business and to act like Im an inconvenience cause your to busy gossiping behind the desk is just plain rude.(Update from reply from owner)I assure you I was there, I do not use my real name when giving reviews online for my own privacy. And no I do not intend to reach out to resolve the issue cause last time I talked about the matter you were of no help.

Had to wait even though they called me back to come to an earlier appointment. Service was fairly standard. Very clean place. Prices for contact lenses was absurdly expensive. Almost 50% more than what I could get them on the internet for. Most places are about 20% more.
