Cannot say enough good things about this Ace Hardware location! The staff are very friendly and personable. They’re also so helpful! Would prefer shopping here over the larger stores. Please continue to stay in business!

The Ace Hardware/Sussex does not carry the refill that I was looking for - Fresh Wave Odor Gel, 3-lbs.However, three other Ace Hardware do carry the product. These include: Ace/Jackson; Ace/Mequon, Ace/Germantown.I thought that all Ace Hardware carry the same line of products? It appears that the Ace Hardware/Sussex is not as well stocked.Will never go to the Ace Hardware/Sussex anytime for any product. Upon entering the store, it appeared to be crowded and dirty.

Avoid this particular location. Highly disturbing to see. The culture appears to be a non-mask enforced location. Not a single patron, aside from myself, had a mask on.The front clerk while seeming to be very personable, lacked complete understanding for the transmission of the virus. She was touching her face, and proceeding to touch customers money and receipts. This type of behavior at the height of pandemic transmission is highly irresponsible.If you care about your loved ones and community, avoid this location. I chose to leave the store without making a purchase, and went to the Ace Hardware in Pewaukee. It was a completely different experience, with public health recommendations being taken seriously and respected.“ Some of our folks have to take the mask off for a while as they get dizzy or even sick. It is our policy for everyone to wear a mask unless there is a medical reason for not wearing one”.-this explanation for non-mask use, which may make sense in legitimate medical conditions, your “policy” is clearly not being upheld by patrons and workers alike.I will never frequent this location again, and I will strongly encourage others who care about community and public health recommendations to support another business.

Echoing other folks public health concerns here: The mask mandate is not being followed or enforced at this store. At all. I was greeted by two maskless employees the moment I stepped inside. No other employees were wearing or even had masks. Ill be getting my hardware supplies at Menards from now on because its not safe to shop at this store.

Very helpful staff members. Wide variety of household items from cleaning to remodeling to fixer uppers. Staff members have the greatest sense of humor!!!

The main guy here is super helpful. With only a few gobbled words he knows exactly what you want, walks a few lines, and drops it into your hands. Really amazing staff and response during the crazy time. If you are local, do not pass them up for a big store.

DO NOT GO HERE - PUBLIC HEALTH ALERTThe cashier here does not wear a mask - and they allow customers (that they know by name) to enter maskless too. Total hillbilly ignorance. Ive been going here for years - Ill never go here again.

Best thing is the expertise the staff has. They hear what youre trying to do and help find ways to get it done. Great place!

Long lines every time I go in there, the front clerk doesnt know what shes doing and no ones wearing a mask! Will never go back to give this store any of my business for just one reason - no mask wearing of manager!

Store always seems messy, like they just got a shipment in and have not put it on the shelves yet. Floors need some serious cleaning - always dingy and looks dirty. The aisles are way too small and crammed together to maximize the variety of products they can sell. They need to just get back to basics.

Sussex Ace recently fixed my 5 year old timemaster lawnmower.I tried another lawn mower shop and they failed to get it running well.Pat the mechanic at Sussex Ace not only got it running it now starts better than when it was brand new.If you have a Toro lawnmower that needs work and you live in waukesha county, take it hear.
