Yes its a Starbucks, but its one of my favorite locations. Comfortable seating for individuals and groups both indoor and outdoor. Plenty of handicapped accessibility. Great space and lighting, friendly staff.

I am a regular customer. I go in everyday today they decided they wanted to Change their hours from 6-4 Cool. But I was standing outside for ten minutes then when the lady comes to the door to come let me in she tells me that their Cafe isnt open to the public yet as they serve two other elders and let them come in and go. But not the black girl who comes in every morning before her shift. Just horrible.

Backing up what another review said - ive been to pick up a mobile order 2x and someone had an awful attitude. today they had my food in stock but didn’t give it to me. I asked someone and they said they forgot? but they’ll do it now. Waiting almost an hour for it, I still didn’t get it. They needlessly wasted so much of my time.

This location is usually great. But this morning I went in, saw the mushroom and kale egg bites on the menu and asked if there was cheese in them (Im allergic to milk). The girl at the register told me she had eaten them and didn’t think there was. Well there was cheese in them...I figured that out halfway through my second egg white bite. Awesome, thanks

Every time I go in, its like I am a hassle for picking up my online ordered black coffee. An employee groaned audibly the other day because they had to unlock the door for me (10 minutes after posted opening time)The best is when they let you stand there hoping someone addresses you as your coffee gets cold. At least its helped me identify the really good starbucks in my travels

This is by far the slowest Starbucks on the North Shore. Consistently wait 30 minutes for mobile or in store orders because they only prioritize drive thru orders. Go to Marblehead instead.

I always have issues when I go to this Starbucks. The lines are always insanely long and the employees seem like they dont know what theyre doing half of the time. Theyre also the only starbucks in MA Ive been to that has paper straws instead of plastic, and they are terrible. That alone is worth the 5 minute drive to the marblehead starbucks for me. Im giving it 2 stars instead of 1 because of the good location and the drive through. Would not recommend.

Consistently the slowest Starbucks I’ve ever been to. Every Single time. I’ve never waited less than 15 minute and my order is a black dark roast, nothing fancy. I even tried the drive thru to see if it was faster. Unfortunately not. Staff is kinda nice, much nicer in Salem.

I am a regular customer at this location and others near swampscott and by far this is the worst experience I have had at a Starbucks location. First I know my order was very difficult. But they forgot one. They gave me 8 out of the nine drinks I orders.Then one of my drinks had hair in it and they made the other drinks wrong Also while I was telling the barista on the cash booth my drink had hair and my other drink No one gave me. She rolls her eyes at me. And after it was resolved I waited 8-11 mins for my 2 drinks. While the women who orders behind me got her drink before I did. Mind you I only asked to fix the one drink and the one I never got. But the women who ordered after me walked out with 3 drinks. While I still waited. Don’t go to this location after 3 the people in the morning are better than the afternoon shift.

I used to think this was the best one around me . This morning was a 20 minute wait . I watched multiple people in front of me get their order & hand it back . Today, I went to the drivethrough at about 5:15am, as I have the past few weeks. But this time, despite waiting 2-3 minutes and asking multiple times if anyone was there, there was no response. I drove up to the window and sat there for another 2-3 minutes while two different employees came out of the back room, appeared to see me, and ignored me, while I tooted and then honked my horn. Then I parked my car and walked up to the door, which was locked. The staff saw me, but made no effort to come to the door. The Starbucks website indicates the store opens at 5am. I have no idea what was going on this morning and saw no signage that might explain, but I think Ill just go to the Marblehead store in the future, even though its about twice as far from me. Very annoying!

I stopped in for a coffee and my go to Starbucks lunch, the fruit and cheese box. The box is a large scale corporate product but the did not choose mealy red delicious apples, to their credit. The box. Is consistently tasty and not bad for you. I also generally like the Starbucks coffee. While some smaller regional chains (cough* Peets) make even better coffee, Starbucks is the most reliable of the large chains in my experience. I should define that since taste is personal. I really dislike stewed coffee, or coffee left on the burner to cook as happens in most of the donut shops. Starbucks has a rule, i gather, under which they brew it and only hold it for less than an hour, so its not stewed or stale. I like strong but not bitter, and can reliably find it here. So Starbucks overall works. The company is good about consistency too, so this will be true for all Starbucks. The big differences will all be in how busy it is and attitude of staff. For that, you need to go regularly and build a regular relationship and no review can do that for you.

Frequently forget items that are paid for, slow service, subpar quality, understaffed (so much so that they close the doors so you can’t even wait inside for a mobile order (during freezing cold winter)) I’m a fan of Starbucks, but pass on this one.

Good coffee at expensive prices but oh so worth it. Dont waste going to Dublin donut where they get your order wrong. To to Starbucks. This one has a drive through. Get it quicker by ordering it online and picking it up at the shop. Lots of tables to enjoy and talk to friends the staff is very nice and you can pick up Starbucks mugs and coffee there.

This place could be 5 stars, but at peak times, the employees are pulled in several directions which makes the customer experience not great - long waits. They have drive-through, walk-in (take-away, and dine-in), and mobile order. At times, you can count 9-10 employees behind the counter, and still a long line to order, and a long line to wait for the order. Employees are doing the best they can, but this is a poorly designed layout that doesnt match the workflow required for the types of customers that come here. For this store, I think Starbucks split the employees (one crew that deals purely with drive-through and mobile orders), and another crew for walk-in customers. Unfortunately even this idea is not optimal as there are lulls and surges...which can be hard to staff appropriately.Other than that, most of the employees are nice, and the drinks and food are largely consistent as youd expect from a Starbucks.

Key points: consistent taste at all locations and order from the app whenever possible..My go-to coffee spot if I want to treat myself. Right near my work, so its easy, convenient and necessary when you wrangle dogs all day! I prefer Starbucks to dunks because theyre actually consistent with their flavors. The reason I gave only 4 stars, not 5 is:1: They are so pricey.. an espresso drink is upwards of $7 sometimes... theyre worth it, I guess. I would just go to Starbucks way more of it wasnt such a hit on my wallet..2: Mobile app orders take precedents over cafe orders.. they say they dont, but they do. A friend of mine and I put in matching orders at the exact same time. I said mine to the barista and she put hers on the app sitting in the cafe. Hers was done almost 7 minutes before mine.Its awesome when Im in a rush and have money on my card, but not so great when Im running late on a reload day. Then I get to wait 20 minutes and watch 10 mobile orders go out the door before they even look at my order...Other than that theyre awesome!

Their mode their mobile system is constantly down and a will not let you should have an order started over the phone even though its a huge inconvenience not be able to mobile order when you have to go to work. I love Starbucks but I buy a lot of coffee and seems like this store always messes up depending on who is working. I would have to say 3 out 4 coffees are wrong some of the coffee makers rush and dont care what type of milk you order the dont put in the extra shot and they tell me I am wrong. I drink them everyday I know what it taste like need to step it up swampscott Starbucks but I think Joe is one of the best workers there

We asked for a caramel ribbon crunch frapp decaf, a cookie crunch decaf, coffee cake, and a dounught. The caramel ribbon crunch had caffeine, the coffee cake took a really long time to get and was BURT and we had to remind him twice about the doughnut 🍩 and he didn’t belive we ordered it and almost came to check us. And the dounught tasted like cardboard like no cap I’m not kidding plz help I’m scared that I’m being poisoned by the barista he is watching me. Send help. Ahhhhhhh

I ordered a seasonal drink. He gave me the wrong drink twice, he was nice in a ride way, ignored me when gave me the fixed drink. I should have remembered his name. Shame on me for being nice and walking away. I should have just gotten a refund, never going back to that location. He even said that he cant wait to get out of there and work at a real coffee shop, needs to learn how to read an order first. At least give me the right size. I overpayed for a small sized of the wrong drink. Shame on me.

I must start this review by saying that this location USED to be the best SB location in the area. I now wish that my spouse was not a coffee drinker at all because if not for him/her I would never set foot in this location again. The spirit of customer service that used to be felt the moment you would walk in through their door must have left with one of the customers one day when the door was being held open by one of the customers for another. I am obviously unhappy but I give many opportunities for this to be remedied, but......., sigh, to no avail unfortunatelyjjjj

Maybe staff has change, maybe Starbucks...but this Starbucks is so much worse than it used to be when they were in there old location in Swampscott. Here:my order always wrong, the store is not cosy, nor it’s clean...The place doesn’t invite you to stay and sit anymore, Yes, it’s bigger now and they have a great outdoor seating spots, but if you want Starbucks I would advice to go to a Marblehead location, which is way better. Sad...
