I needed some welding and repair done on the trailer(specialized low boy/step deck boat trailer) and this was the only place that was able to get me in first thing Saturday morning at 0800. Very Courteous and Professional! The Owner himself welded the S-Cam Tube back onto the trailer axle and repaired my trailer in a timely and efficient manner. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone needing repairs. If I’m back in the area, I’ll be stopping again. Good, hardworking, and honest Americans.

When I Googled the business it said that the business was open 24 hours. I called about 45 minutes before I got there for a trailer wash out. 3 hours later and they are still not here. I understand that it is a Saturday but if you advertise 24 hours then you should get someone here in a timely manner.

Good people, had a hole in my floor, they got me in right away even though they were busy and took care of me at a reasonable price. I definitely will use them again and i would recommend them.

Had my trailer washed out here this morning. They did just as good of a job as the big companies like Blue Beacon, but had the added benefit of not having to wait in line for an hour. Was in and out in less than 20 minutes. They were super friendly and efficient. I just started coming through this area fairly frequently and a good washout is hard to find in VT. These guys have my business for sure!

Very friendly people! Awesome customer service. They get reach back to you in a timely manner. But If you’re looking to buy a truck from them, I’ll highly recommend it. Bought a nice Peterbilt from TDI towing and they also hauled it 5 hours down to us at our shop. I am more than pleased with how I was treated. All in all my experience with them was a great one!

I had called for a tow on a weekend, prompt answering service and a truck was on its way within minutes. I was able to repair my own vehicle (minor problem I had overlooked) and called to cancel the tow. They were very nice and hospitable regardless of not making money and having a drivers time wasted. Although I didnt need a tow anymore I would happily use TDI in a jam.

Quick friendly washout service on a Saturday. Just call 30 min out to give them a heads up. Gave us goodie bags.Lesson learned.....check your trailer when theyre done! Drove to our shipper and opened doors....wood chips/pieces still all over in there! Not clean. $75.

Stay away from them.Most of these positive reviews are FAKE!!!They are liars and predatory towing. Will give you one estimate and then charge you 20 times more, they want ask you nor give you estimate on repairs as well, just a bill 10 more than normal dealers would charge you. Unfortunately there is no law that can prevent that (as of now), hopefully congress will make a rule/law for them.

As a commercial driver, if there is a load to pick up on the weekend and you need a trailer washout, most likely you wont find one. However, when I called their number, I got a messaging service. Within 15 minutes I got a call back. The gentleman, became my hero at that moment when he told me he can do the trailer washout and to call him 30 minutes before arriving. Once I arrived, they were prompt, friendly and courteous. I will always remember this washout when I am in the area.

We have never, ever been met with a higher level of professionalism and customer service in our entire lives. We are 4 Canadians on our way down to do a little pre-holiday shopping and just outside of St. Albans VT when the alternator went. We called CAA but our membership had expired. We then searched for local towing. We called up the first place that appeared and was met right away with friendly service. About 25 minutes later a young man by the name of Ryan showed up and got us hooked up. He was extremely professional, polite and friendly. He turned our disaster into a better day all around. He towed us back to the shop where we were met by Jason at the counter. From the moment we walked in we received friendly conversation and welcoming smiles. Not just from Jason and Ryan but from every member of staff we had encounters with. They had techs stay way pass closing time to get our car first and it wasnt an easy task. In the end, we found out that Ryan our toy truck driver was the main tech who had been working on our vehicle the whole day. So shout out to Ryan for going above and beyond, he has a super bright future ahead of him as is a real asset. Herb the owner is a treat to speak with, deal with and just have a yarn with. He took care of us, he even lent our a vehicle so we could go and eat and gave us a great recommendation for some incredible food. If you are a truck driver or just a regular driver do yourself a favor and go see the boys at TDI and have our yourself a next level experience. While you are there say hello and give some belly rubs to Bandit featured in the picture below. He is the resident mechanic and he will warm your spirit even more. Trailer rinse out was expensive on a Sunday morning. I say rinse out because they dont use any soap. So carry some soap.Adam the tech working there was phenomenal. 5 stars for him.

Nice place for a trailer washout. The guy and the girl encharged handled me the receipt with a thank you paper bag with an air freshener, water, key holder and couple of protein bars. Very happy. Very satisfied with the service.

Called 15 minutes before arriving, arrived at 02:40 waited additional 30 minutes then called dispatch waited another 30 minutes and nothing. 5 minutes later John calls me and tells me they stop doing trailer washes after 23:00 due to Covid. Was told to stay there till they open 07:00 . Did that and no one was there. Call dispatch and waited another 30 minutes. Call them again and John calls me 2 minutes later that he is on his way with an attitude. Trailer got washed after 5 of my hours got wasted on my 11 hour. This John kid was just plain lazy to get up in the morning, I don’t think Covid rest after 23:00. Gave me a little bag with snacks thinking I would appreciate waiting 5 hours.Update: Talked to the owner and explain the whole situation. Great experience talking to him and he seems that he cares about the customer.

Only if you are related or very good friend.Very bad experience, $105 Hr? and took 6 Hrs to replace a starter and adjust the hand brakes? came out of there paying a total of $ 1143.33 for total, just wanted to escape from this place. This was a regular Chevy van not a big truck. Anyway they make me sign a form to acknowledge the charge in a letter (I know a lot of customers have felt like me) cheated other things that happened, they dont give up an estimate and also will hang up on you when you call to ask for an update. Once your vehicle goes in it gets literally impounded (how? they block your vehicle with junk that you can move away if youre happen to have a forklift in handy) til you pay all this little extras they had to do

Was a pretty good place for a trailer wash out but considering their the only business to do it in area has probably gone to their heads...going on 5 hours waiting to do business for a wash out and no one is here...keep getting excuses when I call office...would advise drivers to get one before you get up this way if possible save your time

Im a local delivery driver. Had a flat tire on my trailer. TDI sent out a true professional he had my trailer in the air and told me keep on doing your delivery. He had the tire off the rim and a new one on and mounted back on the trailer before I was even done my delivery.

I would recommend another towing service. When my familes car was impounded they gave us a hard time and when I called they never said cash only so we didnt know that they didnt take checks and yesterday when one of the employees said he will be in the office the next day I called that morning and they said nobody is in the office. They say one thing and then they say something different. $100 each day while its in storage is crazy and the towing is almost $295. They are definitely high priced. Never again will deal with this business again.

The owner personally came to our house last night to unlock our car. We had a meeting at church that we needed to attend. We are grateful to live in a small town where we have so many trusted services like TDI where we can leave the garage door open for them to perform their work and trust that everything will still be there when we get back. We not only chose TDI because they were close by but because I have seen them remove heavy trucks off bridges and out of ditches. Very professional!

After a long frustrating wait broken down with several failed attempts at restarting, TDI showed up with the right equipment and a knowledgeable driver. Aaron diagnosed the first problem and got us started and headed to their facility where they took us right in and remedied the deeper cause.Great staff, great experience.

My pickup broke down near Swanton VT while on my way back to NYS. TDI came up at the top of the google search for a towing service. The driver was courteous and gave my wife and granddaughter a ride to a nearby gas station so they could wait there for our ride to pick us up. They took my truck and had if fixed in a few days, but the tow bill was $190 plus an $85 dollar call out fee. That totals $275 dollars to have the truck towed less than 10 miles. This is highway robbery!! What a deplorable business practice. I strongly recommend you call another towing service.Addendum: 08/14/2019- When I called the first time, I was told that $275 was their rate and it was reasonable. After posting my review I received a call from the owner and he said he would make an adjustment and send me a refund of some of the money; which he, indeed, did do. I received a credit back on my card for $145 making my total bill for the towing $135. This is much more reasonable for the job they did. I am happy that they adjusted my bill, but not happy that I had to go through this hassle. Because of this I changed my rating from 1 to 3 stars.
