I purchased what I thought was a new riding lawn mower off the show room floor.I said something about a hubcap missing but it was not addressed.I got it home and it did not start and will not start.It has been 10 days.I have spoke to the salesman once, Manager 3 times and mechanic once.They keep having me try different things.I dont really want to do that as I bought a new mower to not do that.after digging into it further I discovered that the mower is actually used.{demo} or whatever.2 flat tires, battery dead, wont start, broken screws air cleaner cover, missing screw air cleaner cover.Dirty air cleaner, dirty motor, leafs and grass under deck.I want a replacement.I have yet to gain any ground.It cost me $1365 off floor and I have $185 into it.Against the law and extremely poor customer service.Roy Brown

Ordered a dryer online, received a conformation email minutes later that said the store will check inventory and send an email after the store opens. In the morning I received an email that I was able to pick up the machine at the Swanzey New Hampshire store. When we arrived at the store we met Bob Jones, he claims he is the Assistant manager. He then went into a ten minute rant how he had no idea why we were there and the online store has nothing to do with this store. Note not once did he try to look up the order or check if he had the item in stock, After some time arguing he went in back and within 1 minutes he came out and said we don’t have that dryer in stock. We asked what we do now, he said it’s our problem and call the online company. We left and went to the parking lot and called website help desk. They were very helpful and checked our order thoroughly and then asked to speak to the Bob Jones, I walked back into the store and handed the phone to him, guess what, they had the machine and all of a sudden there was no problem. We received the machine and left. I would stay as far away as possible from this store and Bob Jones; he is incompetent and has no business working retail.

I always enjoy my visit to Sears Hometown. If they dont have the tool I need they order it for me. This time though I needed a freezer as mine and died, and the were able to get me one that day. Jen was especially helpful. So glad they are here in the area

My husband and I just bought a new washer dryer set from the Sears Hometown in Swanzey and WOW we just love them. The service in the store was top notch, and delivery perfect. I cant recommend enough this store and their staff!!!

Recently visited this store while visiting my parents. Staff was super nice helping me choose the right vacuum for them. Love the tax free, and got some tools too to take back to NYC.

My snowblower died the other day, still under the repair agreement I took out with this store. I called the 800 number and someone was here the next day. Plastic carb parts has melted with the ethanol. He repaired my carburetor with metal parts and its as good as new.. still have 3 yrs of coverage left.

I went to the walpole store looking to buy a washer and dryer. i got there at 6:35pm. the lady told me she was closing in 5 minutes because she had places to be. I said ok and left for Swanzey. The gentleman ask if he could help us, told him what we needed and left with a washer and dryer, he was more than willing to help us and answer our questions, we didnt get out of there until after they were closed but he didnt mind at all....moral of the story...if you want good service...go to Swanzey !!..i will never step foot in the Walpole store again!!
