Well they have a lot of great reviews so I guess I’m just the unlucky one. I was also passing through town when the oil pressure on my F150 dropped to zero. I immediately stopped and had it towed in and yes they were friendly and polite. $3000 later they called and said it was good to go so I drove the five hours to pick up the truck and within 20 minutes again the oil pressure dropped to zero and I was stranded again. I had it towed back and another month later they called and said it was ready to pick up. I got another ride five hours up here last night to pick it up and again, halfway to Winters the same thing happened leaving me stranded in the middle of nowhere unarmed, cold, sleeping in my car all night. I’m waiting for them to open at eight this morning and trying to get another tow. I’m not expecting good news when i get there, probably another repair i can’t afford. I’m a widowed mom I don’t have more money for what should’ve been done in the first place. I just want the truck fixed or my money back and I can’t even go to work today to either of my two jobs and I’m paid hourly not to mention I haven’t eaten in two days now. I’m not sure what they did for the $3000 but it wasn’t what was needed. I am lost as what to do.

The whole crew over at Twisted Wrench are the best. They tracked down a wire harness issue on my Ford F150 when I was traveling across the country. They let me work on my laptop in their comfy office chair while the truck was getting fixed. They were a life saver and the rest of trip around the country was a success. Car broke down coming home from vacation on a Sunday night and we had it towed to their shop and called them first thing Monday morning to see if they could help us. They were extremely polite, professional and honest about what they were capable of doing as we have a Toyota Prius hybrid. They cleared a few things they had waiting in the shop and pulled us in to make a diagnosis and estimate for the repair. Once given the green light, they made the repair in less than 24 hours despite waiting the rest of the day for the part to arrive! His goal was to have us on the road by noon the next day and we pulled out of the garage at 10:30AM and the repair was done right. Problem fixed and at a great price, much less than the dealer would have charged, much quicker as well. They even came and got us at the hotel and drove us back to the shop to pick up the car. I would highly recommend Twisted Wrench and wouldnt hesitate to use them again!

While travelling west on interstate on Sunday afternoon, my pickup developed a leak in radiator. We spent night at hotel. I arrived early at Twisted Wrench first thing Monday morning and explained my issue. Twisted Wrench located a new radiator and had me back on the road in under 2 hours. Very professional and friendly. If only there were more honest and reliable service garages like this, the world would be a better place. 5 stars all the way.

Veryyyy nice guys! Went in the morning and they were very accommodating, talked us through the process and helped us understand what was wrong with our car. Was quick and easy! I would 10000% recommend them to anyone! Great prices as well!

Ty helped us out and was extremely helpful. He was honest and genuine through and through, my husband and I didn’t feel like we were awaiting a list of expensive repairs like many other repair shops tend to do. We had an emergency engine issue and we were able to get the help we needed quickly and effectively. Wish more places like this could be found more often!

After getting into an accident with no way to get home, Twisted Wrench refused to look at my car for 5 days. That is until I threatened to have it towed elsewhere. When they finally looked at it, they said it was damaged beyond repair, so I had it towed to another mechanic who able to look at right away, order parts and fix it that day. Twisted Wrench was rude and unable to properly evaluate the damage. I wish the fine people of Sweetwater had a better option than Twisted Wrench.

The gentleman was very nice and accommodating. We broke down in sweetwater and was towed there. He assessed the situation and told us what needed to be done. We had to wait for someone to come 2 1/2 hours to pick us up and he was willing to wait after closing to make sure we were ok. I appreciate what they did to get the job completed quickly.

You got to love them

I broke down on the I-20 Sunday late afternoon. My tow truck driver recommended Twisted Wrench as the shop he trusts because they are honest and do great work. He was right! I called first thing Monday morning, before they even opened, and they answered right away. They ran a diagnostic on my car at the first chance and found that I needed a new fuel pump. The part is on national backorder, but the owner located one for me at a shop in Lubbock. They werent able to deliver it until Tuesday morning, but once it was received they had me back on the road in less than 2 hours! I had a 12 hour drive ahead of me and we made it home with no problems. Thank you so much for your great work!

Car broke down in a small town, they had it running by that afternoon.Even went through the effort to get a kit the same day to have the work done, done at the best rate. Would do well to give them your service requests.

Brake booster pump went out driving into town while we were crossing the country. They got me up and on the road in a few hours.

Brian was more then great. . I had an issue with my engine I was in dire need of help. . . He himself was full and couldnt look at it til next day . . . But did recommend another guy. . . This is a great unselfish business cares more about customers then bottom line . . . Definately recommend

Stopped in just short of closing for some help on a UTV, they helped above and beyond what we asked and had us all back up and running within 30 minutes. Helped us get back to work with minimal down time. Would reccomend to anyone

A few days ago I had some car trouble when I was driving through Sweetwater. My car wouldnt start, and I couldnt get anyone to tow it to a mechanic for me because they were all busy due to the highway having frozen over the previous night. The guys at Twisted Wrench really helped me out. They drove out to diagnose my problem, got my car running well enough to get to their shop, and fixed me up with a new starter within a couple hours. Great service.

I cant say it enough. Amazing service. Let me give a little back ground to readers, I didnt mention this to the staff of twisted wrench. I am a business owner one which happens to be an automotive repair shop 850 miles away from sweetwater. I also am triple ASE Certified Master Tech and GM Master Tech. Myself and my staff pride ourselves on customer service, fair prices and helping those in need. While returning from vacation in Texas in a new vehicle I had owned for 5 days, I managed to do some pig hunting with the front of my van. Not wanting to drive a rental car back, leave my car in Texas for a body shop to fix nor wait two days for one of my guys to get there and tow it back. I called Brian (owner) to see if they could put a radiator in it and make sure its safe to drive. Not only did they do just that but also did it for a beyond fair price it also was done in less then two hours from the time I spoke with Brian. Shops and service like this are few and far. Helped me out very quickly when I was in a bind

Took a little while to get started on my car, but quickly diagnosed the problem and repaired to my satisfaction.

I cant thank these guys enough. I broke down in Sweetwater on a Sunday night and called the shop first thing on Monday morning. Actually, I called before they opened, but the phone must forward to Brian at home. He took my call and heard my sob story and promised me he would move things around to look at my vehicle and fix it if he could. He was not lying. I had my truck towed to the shop just after 8:00 and Brian dropped everything to diagnose and then replace both front wheel bearings. He contacted friends and family to get one part from Abilene and another from Snyder, and he had me all fixed up by 1:00. Everyone in the shop was friendly and professional. They gave me a ride back to the hotel to wait while they did their work. then they offered to come get me when it was done. They gave me a no-haggle, up-front price, which they did not have to do seeing that I was a stranded out-of-towner. I just cant say enough about the team at Twisted Wrench. The world would be a much better place if there were more folks like you. And thank you to whoever from Sweetwater got their job bumped because of me.
