I call this place my new happy place. Every time I go I love it a little more. It’s gorgeous there. The staff is friendly. We are having our wedding there next October. I actually stumbled upon this place a week before getting engaged and I fell in love and knew this was where I wanted our wedding to be. I can not wait!

My daughter found this place and has been a happy customer for a couple years, she recommended it to my son who in turn purchased a tree/bush from them. We soon realized it to be diseased or infested by something and dying. Blooming gardens more than addressed our problem and made it right with us! Yes maybe pricey compared to Lowe’s but on par with other mom and pop nurseries in the area. I had a great time browsing around while we were picking up our replacement tree/bush thing. Overall highly recommend!!

Was a beautiful venue for a wedding, and the staff were very helpful. The selection of plants and decor are also wonderful. It is a lovely venue and center for flora and decor. I highly recommend.

My most favorite place to visit in Sycamore. Wide range of plants flowers gardens ideas wonderful gifts and spectacular inspirations about nature, vintage, art ! Lots of surprise at every visit at the different seasons, they change colors change the decoration change the feelings to meet the different seasons and festivals imaginations! This place is fabulous. So much inspiration, ideas and unique gifts. They have an amazing range of plants. And, the staff is super helpful and knowledgeable. If they don’t know the answer, they will find it for you! Beautiful grounds and event spaces. They offer classes to learn and enjoy with others.

Blumen Gardens was the PERFECT venue for our rustic boho wedding. We would give Blumen Gardens 10 stars if we could! First off, it was the very first and the very last venue my husband and I toured. We knew immediately from the charming aesthetic that we wanted to get married here. (As a side note, the shop is so cute and we always buy something when we are there!)The greenery and flowers around are the perfect backdrop - we didnt even hire a florist because of all the beautiful plants and natural beauty the venue offers. We opted to rent the new bridal suite which was absolutely STUNNING and big enough to allow even the largest bridal party room to get ready and celebrate. They even supplied us with 2 bottles of champagne, orange juice, and snacks.We had an outdoor ceremony that required little to no decor on our end. The space itself is beautiful and we wanted to be married in the raw beauty of the space. It needs nothing else other than what Blumen Gardens supplies. So many places for stunning pictures.My husband and I were on a specific budget and we were able to spend under that because Blumen Gardens allows you to bring in your own vendors. This allows you to spend as much or as little as you want on catering, bar, DJ, cake, etc.The reception area was climate controlled perfectly for our early August wedding. The twinkly lights and charming chandeliers around the reception space made our wedding warm, inviting, and gave it a fantastical feel. We loved the vintage wall decor, bar, and hutch that we used to display our decor on. We had so many compliments on how beautiful and unique this venue is.Above all else, Bridget, the events coordinator was an absolute miracle worker and THE BEST AND EASIEST PERSON TO WORK WITH!!!! Throughout our 2 year engagement, she answered every question we could possibly have promptly and with patience. She helped create a timeline of the day, and a floor plan for the reception. The day of, she helped set up our outdoor decor and made sure everything was perfect. Bridget and her team directed vendors the day of, and also helped our bridal party get down the aisle - because of this, we didnt even need a rehearsal dinner! She was PARAMOUNT for a successful day and we owe her and the entire Blumen Gardens team so much for making our dream wedding possible. It was magical :)

Seriously beautiful shop with outdoor seating among the plants, trees, and flowers.Blumen Gardens is tucked away in a Sycamore neighborhood and features a large array of outdoor and indoor plants. The staff is very kind and always looking to help out with any purchasing decisions you may have. The indoor shop has plenty of decor options for both your outdoor and indoor living spaces. Definitely worth stopping by and wandering the grounds.

A great source of ideas for landscaping. The people there were very helpful. Im looking forward to our next visit.

We went for a outdoor dueling pianos event. The venue was beautiful. The piano playing and singing was fantastic. A little trouble with the bar area. Im sure theyll have that straightened out for next time. Wonderful to spend a evening outdoors with great friends and live entertainment

Blumen Gardens in Sycamore, Illinois is one of the most magical places on Earth! Unique, special gifts and beautiful plants combine with the helpful staff and the small-town atmosphere to create a place second to none! I just visited for the first time in a while in April of 2021 and discovered that it has grown exponentially! The indoor gift shop area is now heated, and the outdoor area with trees and shrubs is 3x as big as before! Parking is better. There are beautiful public washrooms also.

Excellent place to have a wedding and reception and or a family reunion or a work party, or banquets they have fabulous outside garden areas with so many great ideas many indoor and outdoor plants flowers shrubs gazing balls with different stands for different times of the year . They also have an indoor area thats very large and open area, kitchen area with catering available . Restrooms also available. Dance floor with room for a DJ . Handicapped accessible.

Went to see a dueling piano show- it was the most amazing time. The amount of plants for sale their was GORGEOUS. They actually had some free plants that needed a little TLC so I took a licorice one to nurse back to health. I also came back the next day when they opened to grab a ‘love lies bleeding’ plant I fell in love with and would not leave the area without. The gift shop is also A+ and HUGE. I so wish this was closer to home. A definite treasure. I was having such fun, I didn’t even grab pictures, but they wouldn’t even do this place justice... you have to go. There is a picture of planters I bought in the gift shop and a charcuterie board that was available at the piano show.

Brought some friends from out of town to enjoy the farmers market and the beauty and serenity at blumen Gardens had an absolutely lovely time spent two hours... Time well spent my friends from a Chicago suburb stimulated our economy a little and enjoyed the atmosphere. Highly recommend blumen Gardens... Plus they gave me a couple of free citronella plants!!

What a lovely place ! Staff was marvelous. So much to see!! They had an antique show and lots of goodies .the plants were varied and interesting. A very large place. The wonderfully decorated place showed imagination and skill. They all kinds of interesting artsy things for your garden or patio . A stunning old brick building !! Go and see for yourselves !!!

Cool place lots of inventory but very expensive

What a wonderful venue for so many different things. I was there for the third Sunday artist Market as a artist. The staff is so helpful and the background was just a lovely setting to display artwork. Ive also worked there with Wild Asparagus catering at a few weddings. I highly recommend a visit !

Great for most events. For weddings, it depends on who is the staff planner. Ours wasnt great, though the venue still shined. As mother of the bride, I still had to step in to keep things moving as our planner was in the office much of the time. And even for the ceremony.

I bought two bushes and upon bringing them home, knew that they would be to small in my established landscaping. Called within 5 days of purchase, asked id if I could exchange for something else. I was not asking for my money back, only an exchange. I was denied, they claimed that the bushes could now have a disease from being in my yard. There was no word of no exchange or credit on the receipt or at time of purchase. Now I am stuck with bushes, I have no place to put. I will never purchase anything from them again, will be certain to tell others.

Went here for a wedding. Beautiful set up. Ceremony was outside, very intimate and gorgeous. Inside was enoy room for dancing and plenty of tables and buffet set up. One of my favorite weddings. Loved the garden shop, will definitely go back to shop.

This little gem is hidden away at the edge of olde town Sycamore. And when I say hidden, I mean you never know how big it is until youve stumbled upon the sweet little garden. This place is both fun and crafty. Blumen does an amazing job with captivating decoration and wonderful events. Congratulations on your successful recent event with Pay-It-Forward House. Very nice venue for a wedding. Plenty of room for 100 plus people. Very friendly, helpful and attentive staff. We were pleased that we chose Blumen Gardens. Would have been even better in warm weather! Gorgeous garden area outside

I worked at Blumen 1993-1996. Joan and Joan are the best at what they do. The knowledge that Joel has about plants is endless. Joans landscape designs are gorgeous. She knows the plants and how they will look in your landscape. They demand hard work and they are perfectionist. Thats why I would HIGHLY recommend Blumen for all you Landscape needs.

A wonderful place to look at plants and gardening decorations. There is a variety of plant that can be kept inside or outside. It has a very rustic indoor area that can be rented. Weddings and social events can be hosted with enough room for 1 to 2 hundred people. Cerimonies can also be held in the courtyard. The outdoor area can also be rented out in the evening.

A very rustic, beautiful garden to shop at. This is not a regular store, this is a place for the soal. You have to go to understand what I mean. Its set up in such a serene garden type setting that shopping there is so relaxing and absolutely beautiful. They even have fun public events.

Staff was Really helpful, Knowledgeable and Kind. I got two full sun collectable succulents, A Neon Pothos, and a Spider Plant. The property is easily to access, walk though and leave. Multiple entrances, no meter parking. Even if you are not planning on purchasing anything both outside and Indside in great to walk through. It is Kind of like a park. They have a pond with gold fish and a Bullfrog. Great for the kids and romantic noon or evenings. SO many plants to choose from as well!

Blumen Gardens was our first pick of wedding ceremony and reception sites. We didnt even bother looking at any others. This was our first place we visited when starting wedding planning and we looked no further. We got married on May 6th and our wedding was beautiful and so unique. Jane was so great to work with. She has a fun and bubbly personality and was always available to bounce ideas off of. We had so many people coming up to us throughout the night saying how beautiful everything was. The staff here was available to help us out throughout the whole planning process. We were very fortunate to get a nice day and have our wedding outside in the courtyard. Blumen Gardens pulled out beautiful plants to decorate with and everything looked beautiful. If youre looking for a unique wedding venue and ceremony site-this place is it! We are so happy we chose Blumen Gardens for our special day. Thank you for helping to make our wedding day so beautiful!

Amazing place, not just for the plants and garden stuff, but the place itself is amazing. They had a goof selection of plants when we went, and the staff really helped us choose what was right for us.

Just seeing the layout prior to walking in was stunning. Such a beautiful place PLUS the manager personally greeted us with more kindness than most smaller family run businesses. So many plants that are well taken care of. Cant wait to get married there next September!

All presented artistically among the rambling grounds and charming interiors of an old factory. Staff is knowledgeable and very helpful. A lovely gem of a place!

We visited this place to check it out as a wedding venue. Although we didn’t go with this option, the tour was great and the people were super helpful. The courtyard is really pretty, even in the winter months. I would have loved to go with this venue but we picked another spot for other reasons. Definitely consider this place if you’re searching for a venue

It was OK I thought was a little overpriced we went for Mothers Day the water tasted like well Water the coffee was made with well water so had an off tasteThere was scrambled eggs, Sausage and bacon, Biscuits and gravy, A Fruit bowl, Breakfast potatoes, Mashed potatoes with gravy, Green beans, Roast beef that was tough like Eating shoe leather, The Turkey was good, They had French toast that was good, I didnt have the waffles, Over all there was 7 of us that went the atmosphere was very nice but again we overpriced $245 for 7 of us for what they call Mothers Day Brunch, I dont think I would go back again and spend that much money for the quality of the food, I would give me a 5 star on the atmosphere for for the quality of the food I would have to say no more than 3 stars

The old factory building is a must see with all the stalls of sweet things to buy. My husband loves their plant stock. This place as ve is a must see. Enjoy.
