Double there FFL transfer fee to $40.... When I asked why did they double the transfer fee from $20 to $40 they said, too many people were coming in and looking at their guns and buying them online from different companies.....

Ripped off at this establishment. Did business with them for years the skated on me over a measley 400.00.Review keeps getting wiped also

Im a little disappointed in the fact that Ive been put on hold of obtaining my purchased firearm Monday, MLK day. Last time I checked if these gun background checks exceed 3 full business days, the transaction of firearms can move forward. This is according to the various articles and NCIS website. It wouldnt matter if I wasnt leaving town, but I am and my wife will be unprotected while away for work. So this may prove beneficial for others in my predicament. Thank you.

Great local gun shop! This was my first time dealing with C.O.P.S. and I found them very professional and friendly. I used them for their FFL services at a cost of $20, or you can spend $40 in the store and they waive the $20 fee. Great guys and gals at this place. I will be going back!

This was my first time gun shopping, first time I ever held a gun. The guys were so nice and friendly, they made me feel comfortable and showed me how to hold the gun properly. I really found a gun I liked, I plan to go back and buy it.

Solid guys behind the counter. Both my brother and I have done transfers with them. They are cordial, thorough and friendly. Most importantly, they dont make you feel like youve slighted them personally by buying elsewhere and having the goods shipped.

Purchased a new Walther PK 380 through Cops Gun Room back in early 2014. The first time i shot the gun i had multiple extraction failures, returned it to Cops they sent it back to Walther explaining the problem within two weeks it was returned to me after they replaced the extractor saying it was fixed. Again I went shooting at the range and again had numerous extraction problems. Went back to Cops and again it was sent back to Walther and returned after once again replacing the extractor. Went to the range again and you guessed it same problem... Now Im not a happy camper at all!!! Mike from Cops called Walther and went all the way to the top at Walther and went over the entire sequence of problems. Well finally instead of repairing my original PK 380 they sent me a brand new PK 380 as soon as i could get to the range again i shot the new gun from Walther and finally I now have a Walther that works the way it should.... So if you need help with a purchased weapon from Cops Talk to Mike or Ray! Avoid this place at all costs. I asked them to ship a firearm to a MFG that I was in contact with, thinking since they are a FFL holder this would be normal for them, and instead THEY decide to ship it somewhere else to be looked at!! Three weeks later I start to call around to see if it has been received and they never shipped it where I asked them! It was just sitting in the cabinet and I was never contacted!Now that I see how they do business, I believe I would of had better chances with Bernie Madoff doing this for me.BE ADVISED AND AVOID!

Way more than a uniform shop. Changes have occurred here and all for the better. If you were unhappy, try it again. If previously happy you will only be more pleased now.

Great shop with a knowledgeable staff and gunsmith. Great selection of firearms and supplies and well as items for Police/Fire/EMT etc.

I have purchased items at both stores. I have had no problems whatsoever. Mike has had many people just stop to see what the store is about and purchase items. I happened to be there when a student stopped in to by pepper spray and Mike gave her the best one he had that a civilian can carry. ZZ Cops has also been good to me. I asked Dennis if he could get me a gun that is compact yet affordable and had it to me in my price range within two weeks. If someone had a problem with an FFL transfer they must not have been in good communication with them. If you are in law enforcement, fire, ems, security, or a civilian you need to go and check this store out. Mike and Dennis have a lot of time in law enforcement and will get you what you need, even if its a fire truck or a police cruiser. This store is a no BS store that will treat you like your family every time.

Please stop by here, the gunsmith Nick is very friendly and knowledgeable. Not to mention they only charge $20 for an FFL transfer, so much cheaper than other places.
