We bought a 2007 Mini that needed a good 120k mile refresh. It ran OK but after the Allied crew got done with it, the difference was like night and day. Drives like its brand new, we love it. Thanks to John and his crew for the excellent service. They stand behind their work and their work is the best. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Did a excellent job on my 2010 Dodge Grand Caravan. It needed a new transmission, the dealership wanted about $4k and John was able to get it done for about half of that. Service was fast, and John kept me updated on how everything was going with the car. Honest people, great service, and affordable prices.

Ive been going to John for some time now and when I was in a minor accident in January I immediately called John. He got to work immediately and dealt directly with my insurance so I did not have to be the middle man, and commuincated with me at every step of the process. The repair did take a bit longer than we had both anticipated - much to both of our frustration, and at no fault whatsoever to John. I own an import and fully understand the possible delays that come with owning an import. Hes just one cog in the vehicle maintenance and repair machine, give the man a break.John is reasonable, honest, and fair in all the dealings I have had with him, and I will continue to give Allied my business and recommending him to my friends.

The repairs on my 2008 base model MINI Cooper were fast, cheap, and were done right, and the workers were very friendly as well. They even found mistakes and missed issues that the dealership didnt even tell me about, such as a broken radiator/cooler mount. If you have an import car and need repairs, this is your place to go. I highly recommend it!

I needed to replace the front upper & lower control arms and the sway bar ends on my Land Rover, and after doing my due diligence researching I decided to give Allied a shot.I am *extremely* satisfied with the level of communication this shop has, and the ease of scheduling my repair. They offered to drive me home after I dropped it off and pick me up when it was complete, as well as other options. Naturally it’s a costly repair but I’m very impressed with how fair the pricing is on a job this notoriously difficult and the turn around time was better than I had expected.John is honest, up-front, and fair with regard to your needs and I will absolutely be coming back for anything else that pops up.

John did a great job restoring my 2007 Maserati Quattroporte that I bought at auction. The restoration took quite a lot of time but the work was excellent. I now have a rebuilt Florida title and the car runs perfectly and passed all inspections. I love this car. George Rogers

John and his guys at Allied do honest, quality work. They serviced my 1995 Volvo wagon for the four years that I lived in Toledo, and I never had a bad experience. My elderly car threw me a lot of curveballs, but I always felt like I had an ally in dealing with them. My exhaust system and air conditioning were replaced/repaired very quickly and those parts of the car never had any other issues. Service is slightly pricier than you might find at other shops, but you can be absolutely sure that Allied doesnt cut any corners. You get what you pay for, and then some.

Had my car taken there to be checked and they removed the cover for front tow hook and now blaming it on tow driver. Now we have a front piece missing on our audi. And no one owning up to misplacing it. Very unprofessional if you ask me.

John at Allied showed great concern and explained my cars issues. I never felt that they were trying to sell me more than what was actually required to fix my car. They updated me on the progress of the repair and even told me what repairs I would expect in the future. Glad to have found a reliable mechanic!

I took my BMW to John last January for a major repair (approx. $3,000 in repairs). I can not honestly say that it was the fastest auto repair, but I can certainly say it was the most honest. There were some additional issues that complicated the repair, but I was charged fairly. He explained everything clearly, and even removed some of the labor costs, because he realized the financial strains this repair was causing me (still in law school at the time).Because the repair took longer than he originally thought it would, he got a rental car for me at no cost to make sure I could get to work/around town. Furthermore, after the repair was complete there was a repair needed that could have been attributed to a mistake on his shop’s end. Instead of arguing, being rude, and challenging the claim, he paid for the repair and called back to make sure everything went alright. There is an unfortunate stigma that comes along with being in the car repair business. As with any business, a few bad apples have ruined it all for guys like John. He was one of the most honest, up front, caring mechanics I have ever dealt with. There was never a time that I felt as though he was trying to scam me, or take advantage of my trust.I no longer live in Toledo, but if I did, I would certainly take my car to Allied. John is a great mechanic with years of experience. However, he also clearly understands the business side of the operation, as he went above and beyond to make sure that both my car and I were taken care of.If there were more like John out there, you wouldn’t even need to waste your time reading this review. However, since you do, I figured I should put in my good words for him.

The owner is fair, and cares about you and your car. Just go to any chain auto car place, then go here....you will save, save save. The owner is honest, and spends time on your car. He will soon be the number one auto business in the area.

Ridiculous amount of time for what was and was not acomplished.... This shop might be okay for simple repairs... My volkswagen was kept for 9 months.. Excuses were as soon as we get this volvo done as soon as this bmw is done as soon as...as soon as....it took me showing up 3 times per week to have them finish repairs... Took vehicle from there to another shop to have issues resolved.....DEFINITELY NOT A GOOD EXPERIENCE
