I come here every time I visit Syracuse. A lot of great HO scale items and always fully stocked. Owner is nice. Can be challenging parking but worth it. One of the best inventory systems I have ever seen in a hobby shop. Just ask and he can tell you if it is in stock.

I paint minis and checked this place out for scenery for my bases, was not disappointed. A huge variety of foliage, rocks and gravel, and small humans, animals, and scenery bits/props. If youre looking for stuff to base your minis with, definitely look here first and support a local store.

Very nice model train hobby shop. Good selection for all scales with fair prices. Owner is friendly, knowledgeable and pleasant. Will stop in again next time I am in town.

Amazing store i had issues with my last midle shop on selling items from under ne conttacted jr junction witch is 4 and a half hrs away from me. Explained the issues and asked if they could take over my pre orders and if pick up could wait till I whent up to my inlaws by them. They have been fully helpful and wonderful to deal with would recommend them to anyone.

Great selection of O-scale, decent selection of HO-scale, and fairly limited N-scale selection. I hope for more N-scale products in the future. They have plenty of Lionel products. With N scale, they have mostly Atlas and Bachmann with some Kato mixed in.

Been going to JR Junction for the better part of two years for my familys Lionel Train set. If you need expert knowledge on model trains this is the place to go.

Not many hobby stores dedicate this much floor space to O gauge trains. Great selection of all gauges, and owner is very friendly and helpful to all.

Around Christmas I got the Super Chief Set,I got over fourty feet of fastrack,two huge ovals going through my dineing room den and part of my living room,the track cost around five hundred the superchief set was $350.00 Yoy have to lube the gears of the engine with WD40 it comes in a small can with a nozzle. This engine flys and I mean flys around the track! It hauls two passenger cars and an additional car with ease! Soon I will add the dome Vista Car to the set and add the crossing unit that lowers gates and rings bells when the train goes by! Its worth the one fifty as its a must have! This dealer-my dealer stocks everything! Lots of track!All the worth while pieces and then some! Next up will be the Union Pacific Set all in one box ready to go! A worth while endevor for sure and this dealer like I said has got everything you could want! for extra special train lay outs!

One of the best stores I have been in. I have an ho scale layout I’m working on and a finished o gauge layout and 90% of all of my collection has been purchased at your store. Another thing I love is the locomotives and cars on display. I was in recently and loved seeing the o gauge southern pacific daylight on display all lit up which is something I’ve always wanted to see. I plan on coming in soon to look at some ho scale passenger cars and plastic model kits for my central New York modeled layout that I would like to run New York central locomotives and cars and some csx on. I love the store and love the great customer service, I highly recommend this store to anyone that is building up a model railroad or even starting to get into the hobby.

This place was great. Very close to online store prices. The staff was knowledgeable and helped me find the cheepest options for my 5 year olds first train set. They also had all the top options in trains although that is probably a couple years away for us, it was great to see and explore all the options out there.Couldnt be happier with my visit.

Great service and friendly staff that treat you like family. Theres such a vast selection of kits and models to choose from its almost impossible to find at least one thing you dont like. Stock there changes on a rotation so its always good to check back every now and then just to see what kind of new deals could be lurking.

Came here with my son, who loves trains and railroad crossings. We were playing around with several of the used/older cars and junction barriers, a disgruntled cashier was staring at us periodically, without saying a word. 30 minutes later, the curmudgeon-like cashier comes over, says, We are not supposed to play with that! There were no signs indicating this.My wife, whos was 38 weeks pregnant, asks if there is a restroom. The curmudegon responds, not a public one. She went across the street to the Korean cafe to use theirs.My son settles on a used conductor booth to buy. We walk up to the register, he looks at the model booth, looks at me, do you have a model train? No, I dont, can I still buy it?Well this is electric and it hooks up to the railroad, but I suppose you just use itI take out my wallet. He says, its cash only. There was a card swipe next to his left hand.I tell him Ill be back.We came back, with cash, ended up purchasing a package of brand-new small scale model crossings. Half of them broke apart with gentle use within 30 minutes.
