The pandemic has caused delays in everything. So it may be tricky to get an appointment as soon as youd like driving around with a busted out window. If you *are* lucky enough to get one with these guys, you wont be disappointed. I dropped off vehicle early, went home and got ready for work. 45 minutes after my appointment time, I got a call from the tech telling me it was ready. Awesome!! And they vacuumed out my entire car, not just the glass remnants. Top drawer, Safelite!!

Amazing people!!! I had a huge rock chip in my windshield. I went in without an appointment. From the moment I walked in until I left - They were professional, fast, personable and all in all just great experience!!! They got me in and out of there in 30 minutes and the results were great and I think they gave me a great deal. In today’s world I’m just not used to getting this kind of customer service. I dont know why they have a phone number. The automated system makes it impossible to talk to anyone. Incredibly disappointing as I called them because they had taken care of a window chip for me in the past

I came in to their shop with no prior appointment for a rock chip repair. The other guys said they couldn’t fix it and I need a new windshield. Safelite had me in and out in 20 minutes with the assurance that the repair will hold. Great job folks! Thanks

Very kind and helpful when they crash wrapped my window. They also did a wonderful job of vacuuming up all of the little glass crumbs that were in the carpet and in the seat. I am going back there after next payday to get my windshield replaced also

I scheduled online although I would have preferred to talk to an agent. Still upset about the appointment window as opposed to an exact time. Even within 1 hour would be preferred to within 3 hours.Regardless, technician called/texted, the work was absolutely perfect, and receipt was instantaneous. I have used Safelite for years now and will continue to rely on them for all of my auto glass needs. Thank you!

Hate coming here. By that I mean I hate having to come here. Ive had good experiences. Always friendly and polite, super clean and they do a good job. Really appreciate the vacuuming they did with my windshield. Also really appreciate the crystal clear windshield in an hour. Id come here the next time I need glass replaced...I just really hope I dont need it.

I rarely get the care I received here after having my truck broken into. They vacuumed the glass bits out of the door so it doesnt sound like rice in a coffee can anymore. They folded the tarp and towel Id used to plug the hole with a level of care I wouldnt have.The best car care experience Ive ever had. Bar none

My experience at this location was exemplary. I was greeted warmly upon my arrival, the staff who interacted with me were pleasant and gave me the sense that they really cared about my solution. They addressed some initial miscommunications concerning my cracked windshield replacement and made sure I had all the correct information. When checking in my car for service, all proper expectations were set very well. My repair was completed well within the quoted time frame, and the job was executed with the highest of quality. Overall, the sense I got was everyone was working together as a team. Everyone was moving with a purpose and there was a confident positive energy about the place. Im going to be coming back for any of my future glass repair needs! I am definitely a very happy customer!

Excellent service. I needed a stone chip repaired. Booking was easy, they sent me a reminder explaining what to expect. When I arrived I was welcomed and everything was explained fully including how long it would take. They completed the job within that time to an excellent standard. Very happy and with car as good as new.

Super swift service and the car was cleaner afterwards than it went in ! It seems appointments at the store are far easier to get than mobile ones.

My safelite technician, Tyler, came to me and fixed my window after someone decided to break it while in a 7/11 parking lot. He was very sweet mannered, timely, professional and did an incredible job. This is my second time working with safelite and couldn’t be more happy with the service I’ve received each time.

I had a nickle-size rock chip in my windshield from driving up to Snoqualmie Pass a couple of weeks ago. Today I stopped by to get a quote and got an appointment the same day 😁 They sealed the chip in 20 minutes and I was out the door. You cannot speak to a person before having work done. You do not get the privilege of knowing your actual cost until the work is completed. Surprise fees, hidden cost of parts...highly recommend avoiding safelite

Safelite scheduled me for today but then FAILED to tell me that the guy that they scheduled for me was OFF today I spent an hour on HOLD with them before I got a person and then they told me he was off but said that if I go to the Puyallup location then Ill get free wiper blades for my inconvenience my vehicle is a 2018 and has brand new Mopar wipers on there why do I want a worse pair of blades. My work order number is 331467. And Zach was scheduled for 8am to noon and it is now 1:17pm and nobody has showed up and currently on hold with the Puyallup location still havent spoken with anyone and I WILL NOT suggest them to anyone.

Josh did an amazing job at the Tacoma location he was very quick and kind. He did such an amazing job I can’t even tell where my window chip was. I’ve had this done before on other cars at a different company and the job was so poor I wasn’t expecting a miracle but Josh definitely worked magic. He was even cool with my dog sitting in the car in the bay (windows down of course) because I forgot my leash. Thanks guys I’ll be back if ever a need. Update had to come back a week later for a second chip. Damn freeway rocks. Thanks John and Mike for another amazing repair and this time even scored some amazing window cleaner 🤗🙏

So first time getting a front windshield replaced ever and the professionals at this safelite location made it easy and stress free. Although the mobile service is down due to covid crisis the waiting room was open and chairs were socially distanced which is appreciated. The employees were kind and worked really quick to get my car in and out. Would definitely recommend this location for window repairs/replacements.

They have rescheduled my windshield replacement 3 times. Every time I spoke to someone different and they all gave me different excuses of why they couldn’t replace my windshield. After the third time of them doing this, I decided to go somewhere else. Would not recommend this place to anyone.

Waited a week for a rear passenger side door piece. Arrived and they’d ordered the wrong window. Staff unhelpful. Merely walked off. The first time I used safelite mobile service for a small ding and they cracked the whole windshield and wouldn’t fix it. Never again. Definitely don’t listen to your insurance company... go somewhere else.Update - These fools actually ordered the wrong glass twice. They actually identified the problem in their computer got on the phone and assured me that the right glass was ordered the second time. Of course, they ordered the wrong part twice. I ended up driving around for almost 6 weeks with a broken window thanks to the ineptitude found here. The third time they sent a mobile out to my house to fix it. This time they had the right window but despite charging me to clean up the glass, left some pieces of broken glass inside under the window where it is clearly visible. Wow, just wow. I suspect that the only reason this place is still in business is because of contracts they have with insurance companies.I read the owners response - Its nice to hear that you spoke with your employees... notice how he / she never mentions contacting me and trying to make things right. Just stay away from this place.

My seal was broken for my new windshield and they only had the one they ordered for me. I had to come in a second time. Windshield was installed perfectly. I will say they definitely tried to make up for it.

I took my older than dirt van in today to have a rear window replaced and the guys were so professional! They resolved the issue of the wrong color window being ordered very quickly. My boys were comfortable and had a snack and a drink while playing with toys as we waited. I am very pleased with the service done on my van today and I hope I dont need any other windows replaced, but if I do, I know just where to go!

I went in to get my passenger door window a temporary fix, willing to pay cash for them to do it and was told I needed to schedule an appointment to replace it for 380$ for them to even help me, not knowing when I will have the funds to pay it, it left me unable to schedule one, on top of that the front desk lady had an attitude like I was an inconvenience to her day, i will not be spending my money here to replace my window

After my car had been worked on as a gift for Fathers Day I went to go pick it up and subsequently went for a ride to see how awesome the new window looked. There was glass left on the passenger seat which ended up cutting the back of the leg of my spouse as she was wearing shorts. The communication was good with the staff and the manager, although the manager did not follow through per our deal to make up for the large amount of glass left on the seats and all over the dash, etc. The rear-view mirror that was broken was replaced in a timely manner. The windshield itself had a few imperfections. The two stars were given for rectifying the rear view mirror issue quickly and for communicating well.

No star service. Have a chip small in windshield. In sun its starred however small. Came to Tacoma at 0800 for Saturday opening. Due to overcast cold not see it. Salesman blew me off like a nutty person.I wasted a trip. Will go to speedy glass Monday. They treat you right

Two stars because the work was satisfactory, but customer service unacceptable.My son scheduled a rear window replacement through their online site. He forwarded me the confirmation notice which included the written direction to drop off car anytime between 7:30a-10a (that’s all). My wife and I arrived (in two cars) at 7:33a to drop it off. Two other customers were already there and another arrived a few minutes later.This location doesnt open until 8a. Employees were moving around inside but they studiously avoided looking outside.There is a slot labeled Keys in a service bay door but no directions, envelopes, etc posted (which have been in place at other auto services businesses Ive used). The slot was quite large and covered only by a simple flap. (I suppose thats why they say 7:30a and not overnight, because it would be trivial to steal keys with a simple magnet or claw parts retriever).They did unlock their door promptly at 8a, to face four irritated customers. Their young (mid- 20s Id guess) front desk persons interpersonal skills were...not strong. Communication was limited to:Name? [type on terminal] Car?We dont open until 8 andThats what the key slots for.Sign here [why do they want signature when they seem to expect people to just drop unlabeled keys through the slot?]One of the other customers said she understood the directions were to drop off at 7:30a and it would be done by 10a, and she’d wait. Service rep was very curt, saying they promise only to be done by 5p, and showing no understanding or sympathy, then telling her to wait until he finished with everybody else.This is an entirely avoidable self-inflicted injury. Could have been prevented simply by including instructions to tape key to printed confirmation (or attach name and confirmation number) and drop keys in slot, or arrive after 8a. Could have been mitigated by a little customer service training, as well as some corporate motivation to resolve customer issues courteously and directly. Instead, they end up with at least four aggravated customers who will tell others to avoid this business.Coincidentally, I had the occasion to use a different auto glass business last year. If you’re interested, please see my review from that time of ‘Genuine Auto Glass’ on South Tacoma Way in Nalley Valley—a business I’ve recommended to many people (including my son, but he thought he was doing me a favor by using a place closer to my home).

I’m just a little disappointed that the Mobil service is booked out so far. My car got broke this morning and I’m not able to get Mobil service until March. I will have to go with someone else 😔

Professional, quick, price was exactly what was quoted. They replaced my windshield faster than promised. The guy even transferred my good-to-go pass to the new windshield. That saved me money and a hassle of getting another one. If that wasnt enough, they left my car cleaner than when they got it. Yeah. This will be the first place (and likely only place) Ill do business with for vehicle glass issues.

Had to replace a shuttered window and they were quick and professional. Cleaned out the car from any pieces and time wise they were much faster then I expected. I was welcomed when I entered the office and the repair was handled quickly while I waited. The convenience of being able to change my appointment online was very helpful too.
