This has been my favorite store for years, I love that they still sell CDs and records. But honestly this place really saved me when I was going to college sometimes pierce college. One time I needed book for $200.00 and I went to half price books and found the book for.. NO JOKE, $25.00 used. It was the BEST! Also they have some really cool puzzles in right now, Just saying super cool and hippy

Great location! Its always clean and well organized. The workers are helpful without hovering and theres a HUGE selection of books at great prices. Great little date spot if youre into that ☺️

Bought a Gone with the Wind DVD collection only to come home and it be empty... when I called to tell them they said its my responsibility to check the DVD cases .. But why should I? They bought a DVD collection from someone and put it on the shelf to resale with nothing in it? Thats not only unfair but a complete scam... Im disappointed bc Ive been looking for that collection for a while that I could afford and watch while Im bed bound after surgery thats going to keep me off my feet for 8 weeks... Very very upsetting

I love this location over the one near where I live. Their movie/ book selection is HUGE!! Which is a huge perk. Even with a decent amount of people in the store. The staff is always super friendly and engaging with you.

I have always loved this place, and have been a happy customer for many years. I pick up books for my classroom (and they have a teacher discount; bring your current ID and you can get discounts for a year), for reading, crafts, cooking, and my daughter likes to find reading materials here. I always find interesting items here! Thoroughly recommend.

Great place to trade.Awesome assortment of items they accept for trade in and give store credit. Unfortunately I was expecting just a little bit more for my trade in but regardless cool they let you choose store credit or cash.

Came in because I love to collect old maps. Unfortunately they didn’t have a wide collection of maps available - but I still loved browsing their shelves. It’s nice to visit book stores in person.

I bought 3 books, all paperbacks, and it cost $22.03. A bit pricey in my opinion. Had to wear a mask so I didnt stay long to look around because I was uncomfortable with my mask

Very unfair and lots of lazy workers here!! Online says they buy books/vinyls/etc until 9:00pm. Well they FAILED to mention to show up 1-2 HOURS PRIOR if selling at least 12 Vinyl records. Very pathetic, especially when you drive 45min to this store and show up 30min before closing while its completely dead inside.. I was under the impression maybe it couldnt be done due to short staff, but turned out there was approximately 6-7 staff working that night and probably every night.. Ill take my stuff to High Voltage. This place is a Joke!!!Rather have not given it any stars. But 1 star will have to do. 🤷🏽‍♂️

We love visiting this place at least once a month. Rarely do they actually have what I am looking for but they are able to transfer things from other locations which is still cheaper then Amazon. 🤔 I always check here first before buying any book brand new.

Hardworking awesome staff, huge collection of physical, tabletop and video games. Tacked on to the biggest used/resale bookstore this side of Tacoma. Comic book bundles are my favorite thing to grab when Im in for a bit. I can grab a 5 issue sequential run of image comics titles for less than a quarter of one of the TPBs of the new marvel runs. Its a great spot. Please check it out, youll like something in there!

Yeah its pretty good but doesnt catch a lot of fakes with their movies and games

One of the rapidly disappearing bastions of physical media, Half Price Books is an excellent place to spend a quiet hour browsing for that hardcover novel or cookbook you just could never seem to find. It might not be here either, but youre guaranteed to find something worth turning pages for.The shop itself is clean, well organized, and staffed with friendly and helpful people. Its got all the cozy demeanor of your childhood library, but the literature here can be yours to own.

A nice, quiet book store. Their selection is limited, especially if youre looking for books on spirituality. When looking in the occult section, I mostly find books on Wiccan and astrology, but not much on other occult subjects. All-in-all, its a good place to go for a good deal on books.

Shorted me some money on some items I sold the manager was very helpful and made sure I got it back.

Very cool store. My favorite is they always have retro video games. Last time I was there they had a Sega genesis and games for sale. Also tons of anime and Manga.

LOVE THIS PLACE!!! Books are easy to find; store is organized by genre and then author. Prices are very reasonable. Most of the books are paperback which is fine with me I think you get the best deal that way. Was able to find a few of my all-time favorites to add to my must-haves library as well as some new fun reading. Big thank you to my kids for giving me a gift card for the the holidays Ill definitely be back.

This place has a little bit of everything and I love it! Books, obviously, but also board and video games, movies, records, creative kits, and oddities. I have found some amazing and obscure games here as well as popular classics, and every time I go I find something I didnt know that I needed.

I called them up looking for Blacks law dictionary. They kindly told me they had a copy, ordered it they called me a day ahead to say the book was ready for pickup only took a few days. I was truly impressed and happy to do business with this Half Price Books establishment. FIVE STAR SERVICE

Found a physical PC copy of the game S.T.A.L.K.E.R: Shadows of Chernobyl there for 10 bucks when its usually $20 (they have a small physical PC games section.) This place seems pretty cool to me.

Store has a gloomy atmosphere. No carpet and insufficient, glaring lighting. Many of the titles for sale are outdated, especially in the business and travel sections. Travel books don’t age well, and I spied one guide from 2016. There are pallets of boxes sitting between the buy area and the clearance section—why those need to be on the sales floor is a mystery. Greeting card selection was extremely paltry compared to other locations I have been to. At checkout I was not offered a bag, despite obviously not having brought one with me and a downpour going on outside. My polite request for a bag was met with pursed lips and no friendly “Thanks for coming in,” or “Come back again soon.” Just… silence. Unlikely to return.

My daughter is really into books right now, and needed a certain one for her ongoing thirst to consume input. We searched a few stores looking for a good price, it is a book offer 10 years old but still can be bought brand new everywhere for over 15 bucks. Needless to say, we ended our journey at Half Price Books, the book store we should have just gone to first. The staff was super friendly helping out at year old who is shy in public but was confident enough to ask where to find her book she was looking for.The price was amazing too, she has extra to get a hot chocolate on the way home.Thank Half Price books, well be coming back again for the next book Im sure.

I hate that books that arent in print are actually more than the list price even when I can find the exact same books for half the list price or less. Do your research before buying here is all I can say.

Half Price Books is an asking place to go. It has not only books, but games, CDs, records, and all sorts of fun things like that. Its also a great place to sell old books if you wanna clear some space for new books. If youre ever in the area, pop in, even if just for a little bit, and look around. Its worth the trip every time.

Great variety of products at very reasonable prices. If the store you are at does not have what you are trying to find, they might find it somewhere else in the USA and ship it to you. Very friendly and professional staff.

I love half price books. I go in with one or two things in my mind and come out with a half dozen. Books, toys, puzzles, videos, educational stuff. You can find it here. The checkout is always quick and courteous.

It took me over an hour to get offered $12 for two dozen books all which they found acceptable. Ill never ever bring books here to sell again. Its a scam. They would have been worth 3-4 times that if I had been able to take them into my favorite book store in Bellingham. I would have made more waving a sign on the side of the road. They have lots of books. So thats nice.

If you’re looking for old video games, they have some of those as well. They also have a collection of board games you can buy. There’s a good selection of records. They even have old movies. Its better than a book store it has a homey feel. Youre not rushed to make a decision, you may find a new author to read.

I love Half Price Books! Ive sold books, DVDs, CDs, and do all my Christmas shopping there. From Everett, Lynwood and Mainly Tukwilla. They usually give me a fair price and there prices are great and there clearance prices are unbelievable! Until I tried Tacoma. Although they have a huge inventory, there prices, especially there clearance items are very high! Very disappointing

Havent been here in years. They used to have more of a selection. Perhaps its because of the pandemic.I picked up a paperback for $5 and my wife got a couple of movies for $6 each.

Great selection, very clean and organized and overall very well merchandised. Prices are middle of the pack, but again they employ enough people to make the shopping experience easy and enjoyable.

Every HPB i go to has super nice employees. I usually find great fiction or theology titles. The business books also has a great selection (and often multiple copies). Love these stores!
