The store was staffed with 4-5 people working and it was not busy when we walked in. We noticed that they messed up the orders for the folks in-front of us. When we ordered they never made my food item order, which I paid for. My friend’s order was made incorrectly, as they did not listen to him indicate his food allergy. We had to reorder food for my friend and wait even longer and my order never came so i just asked for a refund and we left. There was no empathy for the situation or any sort of customer support to rectify the situation. In fact, the staff member was more excited about eating my friend’s messed up order than they were about helping us out.

The shop seemed to be adequately staffed (4 people) but were struggling with management of orders. Forgot to make a paid for food menu item. Not allergen friendly - made items with dairy (food and drink). I also observed another customer have to have 3 separate drinks made over again. Best to get your coffee elsewhere.

This is my go-to local coffee shop! I love sitting and working in here and they also have a great outdoor area to enjoy. Sometimes this place can get a little busy, but seemingly no matter how busy they are, the baristas are always so friendly! They also have great food as well as great coffee! I always get the breakfast burrito. :-)

I got great service. Had a delicious latter and donut, and they provided excellent wifi and power for my laptop. One of the best work setups Ive seen.

Service with a smile. The baristas made an effort to connect with each customer authentically. I don’t live in Ruston or Tacoma but make the effort to come down about once a month because they always make me smile. Solid coffee. Amazing gluten free bakery items. Out of this world fries.

Horrible service!!!! you can be easily embarrassed by the staff members if you ask questions, I had the worst experience this today with both working ladies. Never going back there.

If I could put 0 stars, I would. Whenever my husband and I come into this location after work to try one of their Naan Pizzas, we’re given a different excuse every time as to why it can’t be made. “The oven is broken”, “I can’t cook warm foods this late (5:20pm) because we have to turn off the oven to clean it”... we just left on our 5th try with another excuse.. I thought you clean the oven when you close? Very disappointed, also their coffee wasn’t that great either. Lost business from us. Puyallup is better. ✌🏼

Jaxon and Ciara are the best baristas! very friendly and have lots of personality that vibe well with the atmosphere and each other. Would come again just to see them! The drinks are really good! better than starbucks! I recommend orange juice, gauge energy syrup and seltzer water! so yummy! Im switching over here for my drinks!

I would give this place 6 stars if I could! The first time I entered this wonderful place felt like I had been coming here for years! The staff were extremely upbeat, smiling ear to ear and treated you like a friend. I ordered a White chocolate and Carmal Mocha, Coconut Breve and a Chicken, Bacon and Ranch pizza. All three items were made to perfection! The waitress who made my delicious pizza warned me that I almost didnt receive it because it was the best one shes made. SHE WAS CORRECT, IT WAS THE BEST ONE I HAD EVER EATEN ANYWHERE!! The wonderful staff really make you feel welcome, unlike places like Starbucks! I will DEFINITELY visit this place often.

My sticky bun was chewy so I asked if I may return it. I mentioned that it could have been over heated in the microwave. The young lady that prepared it said, I only heated it for 30 seconds Thirty seconds in a microwave for a small bun is too long. I told her that it was too hard and chewy. She became so defensive and wasnt polite after. I brought it up to the other person and she apologized for her. I was told I will get a $3.50 refund for the bun I couldnt eat and it wasnt done! I should be able to enjoy the food I payed for. I understand things can go wrong but being polite should always be important. I finished my $5 cup of coffee and left.

Ive usually always had good service here, but today was pretty awful. I ordered two 20oz coffees and proceeded to wait. Theres usually a bit of a wait, but today was of course particular long at about 15min. Okay, no big deal. Then the barista hands me one 20oz and one 12oz coffee. I asked her if there was a 20oz coming and she sharply said no, theres one 20oz and one 12oz and immediately walked away. So I stand there waiting somewhat in disbelief wondering what my next move is whether I should re-order or wait for someone to talk to? Another 5 min goes by and she finally acknowledges me again saying I only made what was on the order and there wasnt another 20oz and walked away again without being able to get a word in. Like, I understand you only make what is on the order, but she didnt even try to resolve the situation in which Ive now waited over 20min at this point and didnt receive what I ordered. There was a giant line and needed to go, so unfortunately I left unsatisfied with a 12oz. What happened to customer service?

It was my 1st time ordering from the app. And the service was not very friendly. I walked in and waited for a while until someone acknowledged me I was the only one at the counter another person was waiting for their order. I got a sandwich and a chai tea latte (it was just okay nothing great) sandwich was pretty decent. the barista asked if i wanted the sandwich toasted but seemed bothered when i said yes. I dont think ill be going back try the jewelbox cafe.

Great coffee, incredibly slow service.I love the variety of drinks on their menu, including alcohol and food. However, rain or shine, busy or not, their service is soooo slow and they dont seem to care when anything is incorrect.

I love this place. Before Anthem came here, there was a little Italian Bistro and they had amazing coffee and pastries. Anthem took over recently and has even better coffee. Highly recommendable.

If you are the early bird type and dont like huge crowds and people invading your space, its best to come here in the early morning hours (6-7am). The service is absolutely amazing. They offer gluten free treats that are super yummy.

Adult Chocolate milk Marbled Cold Brew, Anthem Fries and Naan Pizzas are just what I have been looking for in a Coffee shop. My wife and I are frequent fliers to this place and will be for quite sometime. We will drive out of our way just to get coffee. The service is 110%, the environment is exceptional, what more can you ask for?Starbucks may be on every corner, but Anthem knows how to brew, present and deliver taste with coffee.

My coffee was too sweet! And looks like she put sugar in my coffee. Ordered a iced caramel white mocha. The drink Has specks of white powder in the cup and could taste the sugar the barista put into the drink.

Literally the friendliest staff that Ive ever encountered at a coffee shop (over-exaggeration? Definitely not!)! Mikayla, Mckenzie, Jackson, Carys....they are all phenomenal people and all deserve a raise! Youll go in for caffeine and leave with felicity!

Service was pretty disappointing. Ordered just a drip coffee and waited 10 minutes while others walked in, ordered and received their drinks (some ordered drips as well). When I finally asked if I could just get my drip, the lady rolled her eyes and finally got me my drip coffee. Coffee was delicious, the wait was ridiculous.

You can literally ask for all the syrup flavors as a drink and they will make it for youI highly recommend the Blue Lotus with Lemonade or the Pink Lotus with Orange juice

If youve been to an Anthem Store before then you know this one is already good. The staff is friendly, the coffee is great, the atmosphere is comforting, and their baked goods are wonderful.

This specific Anthem Coffee always disappoints. I have now been here 4 times and each time they totally mess up my simple 24oz iced white chocolate Americano. Seriously who pours so much hot water in an iced drink leaving very little ice in my iced americano. I have asked for it multiple different ways now to see if they can actually make it right and it continues to be wrong! I do go into the Puyallup location by the Spray park and I have never had an issue with the way they make my drink. The Ruston baristas need to be retrained! As much as I love Anthem (puyallup location) when I go to Ruston I will now go to Jewel Box Cafe for my coffee.

I was disappointed when the old Sicilian Cafe left this location, but I was ELATED when an Anthem went in. Anthem always offers the best coffee experience they can and they bring Point Ruston an important and established south sound coffee presence.
