This place is awesome and a great addition to Proctor. The space is beautiful and bright with amazing windows and a very clean design. They have a wonderful staff as well. Everyone was friendly and provided suggestions. I did the Ethiopian pour over on their cool “poursteady” machine! See pictures and video!!!This is a great stop while out shopping the farmers market or just walking Proctor in general.Check this place out when your in town or show it off to friends from out of town!

Probably the best vanilla latte I have ever had. It is smooth, vanilla syrup does not overpower the taste of milk or coffee, coffee is not too acidic. Mostly likely my favorite coffee shop now, just sucks I live so far away, because I would come here everyday. Their staff is friendly and personable.Plus, their pastries are well done and taste amazing. If youre around or not, come visit this place.

The one in Olympia was recommended in an article I read. So we went on our way hiking. We werent impressed honestly. Husband is a coffee farmer. So not sure if we are just overly picky, but honestly not worth going out of the way for.Service by one young man was unfriendly. Thankfully the young woman in there could see the look of tension on me and tried to make me feel better, but I got out of there. Maybe the Tacoma one is more friendly.Im sure the coffee is the same.

In the land where theres a coffee stand on almost every corner, Ill make the bold (probably premature) declaration that this is my favorite coffee place. You wont be disappointed in their specialty drinks, but what sets Olympia apart is their bean selection and roast. Believe me, Im on the hunt for better and open to recommendations, but havent found it yet.

Came in for a latte and when I received my drink the rude barista girl with a tattoo on her left arm is telling me to hurry up and get out of the shop when Im trying to find my keys. It was only about 10 seconds after being handed my coffee that she has the nerve to force me out. I understand with the pandemic there is a limited capacity, but dont rush me when I am a paying customer.

The quality of the roast comes through with the care that they pull the espresso shot. The barista was clearly skilled truly stretching the milk not just heating it with steam. The atmosphere was clean with a classic mid century vibe. The offering of a few sweet and savory treats in addition to nitro cold brew makes for a well rounded coffee experience. Well done.

If you love high quality coffee, you have to try Olympia Coffee. My wife and I stopped in on the way to Olympic National Park and had some of the best cups of coffee we’ve drank in a while. GAH-- I love Olympia coffee so dang much. First of all, all of their locations are incredibly well designed and beautiful. It feels nice to be there; minimalist, clean, and elevated. I appreciate that Olympia coffee is a B corp and their coffee is fair-trade. I am always diligent to make thoughtful + ethical purchases because it is important to me to support businesses that value not only their employees, but also all of the people who work hard in the chain of production. As far as quality, their coffee is top-notch. Their espresso has notes of caramel and chocolate, but sans any burnt flavors. Phenomenal coffee beans make for phenomenal drinks. Whenever I am in Tacoma I make sure to give them a visit.

They have about 5 different coffees and the ones we tried were not good but the main reason I give them a one star is for refusing to follow the state COVID protocols. The business pre COVID has a maximum of 34 people Allowed inside and with current restrictions it should be 50%. They literally allow 2 people inside at a time, what a joke.

Euro style cafe, bright stylish and clean looking. The pastry and quiche are really great, from an Olympia bakery. Get your beverage for here, to get a beautiful presentation on wooden tray with a water back. All this said, I dont personally like their coffee. They favor Central American roasts. I like deep Indonesian profile. I still go there, I like the hot chocolate, chai, and other non coffee drinks.

Really good coffee! They take care of their coffee throughout the entire process, from bean to cup. The interior is modern but cozy and quaint. Menu pricing isnt bad, and they dont have any gimmick coffee stuff here! Im a huge fan of the mocha, which they seem to make better than anyone else with almond milk. The only cons I could come up with were its a fairly small spot for how busy it can get, which means youre in line quite a bit without a place to sit. Another would be the small tables that make it hard to meet more than 3 people here at a time.

Since I don’t drink most of what they serve, I can only remark on the service and cleanliness of this retro modern house. I needed only water and was greeted by pleasant smiles and attitudes from the staff. The glass I was given for water appeared to have been hand washed and dried as it was spotless just like all of their patron tables and counter tops. Everyone dressed with professional attire and you just felt relaxed. It’s only given 4 stars because I haven’t tried their food. But if the service is any indicator, the food must be great.

They make good stuff if youre a fan of coffee, although if youre expecting a lot of sweetness in your drink, then this may not be the place for you. What does one go into a coffee shop for? Well, it was really very exceptional. I read some less than stellar reviews here but none could fault the paramount purpose of this establishment. I had an excellent breakfast sandwich and very good green tea, but overall I was disappointed by my first visit to this new occupant of a key corner in my neighborhood Proctor District. Food offerings are very limited. The decor is sterile, uninviting and doesnt fit the District, the place is cramped, and the seating is so incredibly uncomfortable it has to be a deliberate effort to keep people from lingering -- worked with me. OK to grab a quick take-out drink and pastry, but thats about it. On-street parking only -- may be in short supply. Ill stick with the Starbucks across the street.

Interior is overly sterile with white on white and hard surfaces. The exterior is simple and unassuming but extremely bland like the coffeeId thought a third try was in order since I buy coffee daily on the way to work and on the weekend at Starbucks directly across the street.I should make an observation about business at Olympia Coffee now when they open in the morning they have an absence of customers for the first hour or so. I sit reading the paper at Starbucks every morning every day of the week and clearly see no one in the place. My question is why open up if you have no business.Top Pot Donuts have nearly learned their lesson as to when to open. (Could I suggest 10:00 till 4:00 for TP)As for OCR maybe 7-4 for them as well.Coffee in both of Starbucks competitors is not as good as what the mermaid offers. The service is straight forward and like the interior bland and sterile simply not a lot of personality bit they are nice.Ill be so very surprised if either of these places are open in the Proctor area in 5 years. Unless the landlord is giving them the space.Like the Walla Walla must be an online company because no one is ever in the placeSome of these places ....what are they even doing open...

I came down to Tacoma for a day trip and came across Olympia Coffee. Ive been wanting to try their coffee ever since I started working as a barista since I heard how good their coffee is! I was not disappointed :)The Place:Such a clean and consistent aesthetic thats conscious of their brand. It is small, a bit more suited for a grab and go sort of deal, but if youre by yourself or just with a friend its cozy and ideal! They have all the fancy coffee gear for you coffee nerds (automatic kalita pour overs, automated tamping and dosing, etc)The Coffee:SO GOOD! The benefits of serving your own roast are limitless. Having such a good understanding of their coffee definitely helps their dial in (speaking from experience here haha). I ordered a simple oat milk latte and it was super smooth :)I cant wait to go back!
