My daughter got her first pointe shoes today and the women at The Dance Collection were so knowledgeable and helpful... They even told my daughter she could call with any questions and time. This place is really a cut above.

I had a wonderful experience here after having difficult luck finding the right pair of pointe shoes. The owner was very knowledgeable, informative, and kind. She listened and helped me with exactly what I wanted, unlike the other dance shops I had been to previously! I would definitely recommend this place and would like to say a huge thanks to them for helping me!!!

This is a much smaller branch of The Dance Collection thats in Federal Way. You can get all your dance gear here - any shoe for any style of dance, leotards, tights, hair ornaments...its all here.They are super nice and knowledgeable here. They will steer you to the right supplies and can transfer things quickly from the larger store as needed.Parking is street only, but its easy. Located just West off of Tacoma Ave South.

You can find most of your dance needs here. Leotards can be on the pricey side. You may want to consider other alternatives if youre looking for just a basic leo. FYI no flamenco attire or shoes, though. It is a small shop and street parking only (quite limited) Staff are always friendly and helpful.

I love having such a high quality dance supply store in Tacoma! I have been a patron of the Dance Collection for over 20 years (back when they only had the Fed Way store...) and I will be a loyal customer for many more years to come. Friendly, knowledgeable staff...and if they dont have what you need on the shelf, they can usually get it for you quickly. If you need dance gear, check them out!

BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE! The people who work here are absolutely fabulous! My daughter had only been on pointe for a few months but was not particularly happy with the shoes we had gotten. So we gave Dance Collection a try. The lady worked very carefully with her to pick a few pairs to try for a summer intensive. They all worked fabulously. We only have to pick up the phone and call them to re-order. They even suggest new kinds if one thing or another isnt working. Unfortunately, I dont know anything about ballet, but luckily they do!

Loved how easy they made my shopping trip! They had everything I needed for my daughters dance recital and more! Sweet staff and they were kind to my toddler!

This is a wonderful shop! Im not outrageously difficult to fit for pointe shoes, but it can be challenging enough to find a pair that works well for my feet that Ive had fitters become a little frustrated and ended up in some bad shoes. The woman who fit me was not only patient, but it felt like each tweak we needed to make presented a fun challenge for her to find just the right fit! The other woman doing fittings sounded knowledgeable and patient also, so I doubt its hit or miss depending on who you end up with, these ladies know their pointe shoes!

20 years of ballet shoes and tights..... for both of my daughters.... .♡Oh so much more than Id like to admit ; ) ♡ but these people have always been very professional and had what I needed and MOST importantly......WHEN I needed it!

My daughter just got invited into Pointe for the summer classes. We were told to get fitted Pointe shoes here. Walked in a an appointment and was helped right away. The fitting was a great experience for my daughter as well as being informed on the many aspects of Pointe. Tried on 8 pairs and founds the perfect fit. Really nice ladies. Cute shop off main drag but easy to find.

The staff were kind and informative, unfortunately it seems very costly for something you can get online for cheaper. If you prefer to buy in person this is likely a great option for you

Nice selection of dance supplies for tip of the head to toes. We were there for childs ballet items (SO cute). The sales girls were immediately helpful and knowledgable and went to work outfitting my adorable gdaughter with everything she needed. Outstanding!!
