We just moved to the area so we wanted to try some local restaurants. Browns Point Diner was at the top of the list and Im glad we camr here because thr food was delicious. Thr eggs benedict was perfectly cooked and the waffles were delicious. Its a smaller diner but has a very friendly and attentive staff.
Friendly staff, homely atmosphere. I got the 1/2 sandwich and chowder for just $11 and was not disappointed. My wife had the French dip with chips that were homemade! They sell chowder on Fridays and boy was it my lucky day to try this place. If youre ever in the area and not sure what to try but want something new, this diner is a must!
Food was pretty good, very flavorful. Service was quite friendly but didnt come to our table very much but it couldve been because it was a busy day. Food also took about an hour to get out but then again i restate that it was a very busy day for them. I do recommend!
Great neighborhood location. Friendly staff, Karaoke on Thursdays, good food. Chile Verde omelet on the weekends is to die for!
Always great food, patty melt being my personal favorite. Have also enjoyed their breakfast items over the years. Great location, pleasant and friendly staff. It’s always a nice escape from Tacoma to Brown’s Point for breakfast at the diner. Been meaning to try out the bar they have on a weekend night some time, haven’t had the chance yet.
Wow! Came here on a busy Saturday afternoon. The service was excellent! Faster than I expected really considering I think they only had 3-4 staff. The food was amazing and fresh. I will certainly be coming back here soon
I was disappointed this afternoon. The person whom I assume is the manager was speaking rudely to her employees. Speaking down to them about what they should be doing when it is slow. I also heard her having a conversation with someone else, maybe the owner? She spoke about sending everyone home because it was dead. She spoke with a customer whom I assume was a regular. She told him if he goes to the deck to let the bartender know because they cant read their minds ..All of this should in my opinion be done behind closed doors and not where your only customers could hear you. My server was great!! A thin women with longer brown hair. The other women had blonde hair that was in a bun.This was my second chance for this place. I will not be going back to support this business. Very sad even if it was a tough day everyone has them... It was not okay.

We were extremely impressed with the fast and friendly service on a Saturday morning- not just from our waitress, but from the young man seating us, the other servers, and the cooks. We were both happy with our meals and enjoyed the big windows with a view of the water and easy parking. We look forward to going back!
I would give this place a five star review most of the time to begin with. I went to the browns point diner and had been there many times before. I asked to put a lunch order in 10 minutes early and was told it was fine(10:50am). I ordered a burger dip. I was sitting right next to where the staff is cooking the food. I heard the woman that is obviously running the ship complain saying Really joe? A burger dip?. The servers name is joe. I have ordered this many times and received the food without the bread being toasted or the beef being seasoned. I would have been completely fine if they had told me I needed to wait for it to turn 11:00am to order this as I would have had to wait only ten minutes. To hear the person in charge react like this when reading the order and then it is subpar compared to every other time was annoying.
Food and service was outstanding. Booth was clean and not sticky.. you know what I mean. :). We really enjoy coming here and are really looking forward to future visits.
A cute diner with outdoor seating which has an amazing view of the lake. The food is great and so is the service.I loved their chocolate milk shake and veggie omlete!
Hmm, this was an off day for the diner. Been there before with much better experiences. Was late lunch time. Lots of online orders which took priority over us dining in I guess (2 other small groups and more in the bar) our wait to receive our food was almost an hour. We got our food and were non-plussed and took most food away which was discarded later. Our waiter was apologetic but honestly, not sure if I will ever go back.
Good breakfast.I walked in a few minutes after opening, and this diner is sweet and comforting. I loved the social distancing movie character cut-outs at every other table, and the overall aesthetics.I had Over-easy eggs and French toast, which were perfect, and the individual sauce cups were a plus. The QR menu was handy, and the prices on the menu were not too steep for the quality.The service was a bit slow, but my friends and I were having a great time and did not mind too much.
I had a really really bad food poisoning like never in my entire life! I am breastfeeding and my baby had to suffer from it also, he got sick also ! The food tasted so bad ! Not fresh, the wings not cooked properly! Never ever passing this place by

Everything was perfect! Clam chowder yum and the 1st time we tried it after going there for years. Burgers as always one of the best around! Homemade potato chips and dip SO GOOD!! Buffalo wings were also great and rival many wing places... Great service tonight!! Very pleased..

Affordable, friendly servers,, was a unique diner, seating was very fast, food was good but just bland which could be a good thing if you dont likes spices. My daughters chicken strips were tender and most and fish sticks were good Id recommend those.
First time visitor, lifelong returner (?). The BEST smoked salmon scramble I have experienced in 40 years. Our waitress was fabulous - knowledgeable and very sweet - Felt like home.

A true and classic diner in the age of “Black Bear Diners” and other large chains trying to imitate the charm of places such as this. Delicious breakfast, friendly staff, frequent visits to your booth with a coffee pot in hand, and a true “hometown diner” feel with old school pictures of NE Tacoma hung on the walls. There’s even a coat hanger at every booth! This place’s charm can’t be replicated, nor can the food. Without a doubt the best breakfast place in Federal Way/NE Tacoma regions.

Very friendly service. We hadnt been in for 6 months, and they still recognized us and greeted us accordingly. Had to take out order that day, and it was delicious: Joes special and the pumpkin bread french toast. Pumpkin bread french toast didnt really need any syrup. You could just eat it with your bare hands and no toppings, if no one is looking!
Diner style cooking. Nothing fancy or noteworthy. Its sustenance with a nice view. Fairly priced.

We always enjoy going to BP diner. They are friendly and the food is good. We just had take out from them and the whole order was done in 10 minutes and was ready for us to eat when we got home. A great way to do a quick dinner and at an affordable price.

Amazingly Awesome American food with big smiles and a 50s diner feel in a modern age. I had one of the best burgers Ive ever had!! And thats coming from a well traveled hefty guy so Ive had a lot of experience with different burgers across the country. Being originally from the south, I also had try the biscuits and gravy. It came as 2 large fluffy and soft biscuits with a great thick white gravy with perfectly done hashbrowns. I will DEFINITELY BE EATING HERE AGAIN AND OFTEN.
Delicious perfect old school American. Bring family and kids to the diner during the day and at night enjoy the sand bar with music very nice clean bar great staff don’t forget to bring a tip once u see how the cook whips.
The crispy chicken Asian salad was great. My friend had the club sandwich. It was so big he had to take half of it home. The waitress was sweet and very attentive.

This neighborhood diner is a great spot for breakfast all day or lunch after 11:00am. Although busy, the staff was attentive and the food was served fairly quickly. It was good ol diner fare which is exactly what we expected. The portions are a good size and the cost reasonable. We love spots like this so well definitely be back.

Been here several times since moving into the area. The service has been good. It was a bit slow one time for lunch but it was a Saturday and very busy and not unreasonably slow. The food is fair, not great but not bad(except had burgers a couple of times and they were both very dry)

The young waitress was very nice. We shared an order of fish n chips with the fries. The fish was battered nicely, the tarter sauce was good enough. Fish was flavorless and there was more batter than fish and the fries werent seasoned. The nice waitress never checked back with us. I wont.be back. There are too many other food places to try. I did leave a 15% tip.

Great place for a family breakfast!The whole place has a nice casual feel to it and the staff is always very friendly, food is well made. I definitely recommend this place to try if you haven’t before and I will be coming back again!
My home close to home. Ive been going the Diner since I was a toddler. While management, staff, and ownership has changed over the years, the atmosphere, good food, and friendly vibes never change. Best place in the world hands down. 6/5 stars

50 years ago we used to wander into this corner location in this small community shopping center to shop at the drug store and buy penny candy. For many years it has been refitted as a casual dining restaurant.Classic dinner feel and comfortable boothes and counter. Food is always tastes fresh....and even the coffee is good.
I had breakfast here for the first time on the day after Thanksgiving. It was very busy at 9:30am and we had to wait for a bit. The wait was worth it though. The food was great. They make terrific bloody marys. I guess the bar, with a better view, is open on weekend mornings.

I really wanted to like this place. I love diners. I think that a good diner should have good coffee and a solid omelette. The coffee here was OK at best and I ordered an omelette that had cheese. There cheese was literally a slice on top of the omelette that I scraped off with a fork in a single swipe. It was disappointing to say the least. Our server was friendly though.
Nice little gem of a deli. Been there 3 or 4 times so far and the food was always good, service is fast, and the prices are right. Definitely recommend Browns Point Diner!
The food is wonderful, but it took a LONG time to reach our table. Also, they dont have any non-pork options, at least for breakfast meats. In 2020 who doesnt at least have turkey bacon?
Nice place, good food, nice staff. Some of the menu items were creative. For example, the hot tea set up was stylish and modern. Tea Forte was the brand of tea. The only reason I didnt give five stars was our waitress could have anticipated our needs better. We could have used more water refills and napkins. The Ruben sandwich was a little messy but delicious! The meat on there wasnt messing around, it was thick, flavorful, and juicy.
Food was very bland. Ordered a burger, meat had no seasoning or flavor. The bread was way too thick and tasted like it had been a week old or so. While we were eating the staff was playing Death Metal over the restaurant speakers. Dont waste your time here.
A must try on the menu, the Country Fried Burger. Your favorite breakfast staple done up as a juicy, messy burger! Ask for extra napkins, youll need them! Homemade Ranch chips are the side to get. We will definitely be back!
We went off hours, about 2 pm, and enjoyed super friendly staff, quiet accommodations, fast service and most excellent food. Very nice experience.

Great little diner for the Browns Point community. Service is fast and friendly. Helpings are generous and has a greesy spoon, diner like quality that is perfect on a Sunday morning after tying one on. I always get the eggs Benedict which are served with a nice thick piece of ham and the best hash Browns Ive found lately.
Come here for breakfast never disappointed. The back is a bar so you can get a bloody Mary if thats your thing. There is a newspaper machine out front for weekend comics/crosswords during breakfast.
The food here is pretty basic. Staff is friendly! A few times weve been, service was slow, but usually theyre timely. A lot of the dishes seemed over-priced for the quality, to be frank. Breakfast items are best. Other than for breakfast, Id rather go elsewhere. Also- not very vegetarian friendly.
Had a BLT. It was very good, fresh veggies made it taste awesome. Came with lg order of fries which were yummy. Reasonably priced.
Browns Point Diner and the attached Sand Bar are neighborhood icons. Food and drinks are reliably good and staff are friendly. You should go there.

Sad to say today may be our last visit here.We have been regulars here for five years and always treated like family but the last three visits have been pretty bad. Hostess is rude and cold. We have always sat in the sand bar the last three times we asked we were told no!!!!! Literally sitting here after being told we can’t sit in the bar and a 4 top walks back. Very unfortunate I really liked this place.Best of luck
I like breakfast here. Scrambled eggs are usually fluffy, good thick bacon, generous portions of hash browns. Lunch deli sandwiches are good. The fries are a little disappointing - a bit limp. Good service, reasonable prices.

An amazing place to have a good time, great drinks, good service, friendly people. Food is home style cooked to your liking with a smile, the kind of place youll want to come back to again and again. The desserts are one of a kind, and the owners walk around and talk with the customers. Have made tons friends here, and met a lot of great people.

Food was okay, place is clean and service was friendly but took much to long (30+ minutes) for our food to be brought to us. Especially when you consider it wasnt busy at all. Only 2 other table (besides our) and both with only 2 patrons per table. Also, we could see our food sitting at the window for at least 15 minutes before it was brought to us, literally 3 steps away.

Friendly people, great breakfast foods. My favs are Dads Omelet (tons of protein and veggies) and Jims Croissant (comfort food). I like the Asian Chicken Salad and Maple Salad, but otherwise am a bit ambivalent on the lunches and dinners. Theyre tasty good American comfort food, but not distinctive.Ive used the diner extensively this season as remote office, and the staff have been very supportive, and always taken good care of them. The overhead music is often a bit loud, but I mute my microphone during WebEx and no one else in the meeting seems to mind much. Their guest Internet connection is fast and reliable.
Food and service were both great. We loved the decor. The photographs walk you through the history of Browns Point. Id love to come back and try a water-view table.
