My retired A.F. vereran opened an account with brookdale some 50 yrs ago. Way back, that was his favorite (hangout),As his widow i have had lots of advice and help from the staff. Nice store its a relief to find,what you need without wondering all over nice people

The guys who helped me were awesome!I brought in the plastic and cardboard where the missing bolts would go for a bench i was trying to build.They helped me get the more of the bolts I had and helped me get the ones i had none of! It actually really helped that I brought the plastic shrink wrap in because they could measure against it to get me the right length.I really appreciate the help they gave me and that they were super fast finding what i needed!Absolutely the place to go! Thank you again!

I always love the smell driving into the parking lot at Brookdale Lumber. The stores staff is very friendly and always helpful. They know exactly where everything is and will walk you to it. The store is always clean and organized. Has that small town charm the big stores just cant do. Love it!

Had planned to pick up some unusual length pressure treated lumber at another place but when I called they were out of stock. I tried the big box stores but they dont carry the lengths I need. A friend told me about Brookdale and I called them. They had exactly what I needed. Price was a couple bucks per board higher than the original place but it was worth it to get exactly what I needed. The service was excellent and had an enjoyable chat about with the counter guy.

When I entered this establishment I was greeted by the counter staff in the most professional way. After I had wandered around the store front for awhile I again was asked if I needed any assistance, well I had originally stopped by there to see what kinds of things that they sell. They sell a lot of stuff, I mean stuff that I would not have figured that they would sell. Example, many different types of wire keepers, so that you dont trip on lets say computer wire that you have in front of a doorway under a little bit of carpet thats always getting tripped on or the animals mess with. I found this to be a good thing and they are less expensive than the big box stores. I ended up purchasing some plywood from an over flow bin of cut pieces of different types of wood that is near the entrance of the store. All in all I will be headed there again in the future for any around the house projects that will come up.

It reminds me a neighborhood hardware store used to be.Same old folks helping and have a casual conversation without any stress. Good pricing on their lumber and hardware. I always like to shop there knowing everyone who works there who can help me with whatever I need.

Every year i go get 20 bags of wood pellets from them for my animals. They have always been kind and loaded them for me at no extra charge. Thier prices on the pellets beat other places i have ckd. This is my 3rd year going there. Thank you for great service.

If you are still buying at Home Depot you are paying way too much. I bought 2 boxes of screws and saved $10 over what home depot was charging. Same for treated wood.
