Ive tried selling my used baby items with online platforms before and while it was kind of fun at first, the time investment detracted from any profits being made. I love being able to bring in a bin of my used items, and browse the store while theyre priced for me. Ive been pleasantly surprised by the value given, especially as store credit.My husband and I have both been really happy with the selection they have in store. We usually end up buying more than were selling, since we find so many things to love! I got a magnablocks set that costs over $100 new for only $15! Weve found a mountain of cute clothes and shoes for our little one, as well. Thanks for what you do, Kidz Kaboodle!

I love this store! I buy almost all of my kids clothes here because they outgrow sizes so fast and the prices you can’t beat. The 25 cent sales have some good finds, even brand new items. Employees are so sweet!

Ive been coming here for 2+ years, so I have a mixed experience. You almost never get greeted when entering the store. Staff tends to be blunt, sometimes rude, not overly helpful. Trade value is usually pretty fair if you are receiving store credit. Store is more or less orderly, though it can take a while of rummaging thru items to find things you need.

I was hoping for a better selection of more premium items, although I realize the store cant really control that as its consignment.As far as things they can control, the entire store felt disorganized and a little dirty. It would really help to have clear, professional looking signage indicating where different items were.Prices were fair.

Donating to this company is the worst. They don’t advise you that you are going to get store credit for items or if they will be donated without credit until a few days after. When you ask which items will be donated and if you could give them to a friend since there won’t be store credit applied they say they can’t since it’s all been thrown together with other donations even though they are sell them anyways. When my partner went to donate items for me, the lady’s, and owner were rude to him advising him of new things to do every time he came in rather than telling him what he needed to do all at once. I just got off the phone with the owner and she was pretty much telling me that this isn’t what happened and they told him what to do all at once even though I was on the phone listening the whole time. The owner then goes to blame being rude and unmindful of others due to being overwhelmed with how busy the business is. You should never take out your stress and frustration on other individuals. I honestly loved donating to the store and shopping at the store until I witnessed what my spouse went through. I don’t know if it was because he was a black man or if they are just in general nicer to females.

I visited kids caboodle today around 1230 to purchase a high chair for my niece I ended up purchasing one which was fine but I also asked the clerk to put a second one on hold so her father can come and buy one for her as well the store Clerk told me she can hold it for an hour my brother arrived 30 to 45 minutes laterAnd she told him she sold it. So I called to verify and she straight out lied and said she I didn’t ask to put it on hold very rude customer service

I love kidz kaboodle! Weve gotten almost everything we need from here! Always a good visit! Friendly and great customer service. Plus you can receive credit for buying things and you can turn in your old stuff for new stuff!

I have gone here twice because of listings on specific items That were posted to Facebook market place. Both times I went, the ladies said those were sold weeks ago. So why not take the posting down for that item? I thought I’d give it a chance and look around at other items anyways. Store was not cleaned well and it was very unorganized. Seemed like it has no good items and was overstocked all at once

Found an item from Facebook Marketplace. The seller offered to hold for an hour, the store opened at 10AM so I assumed it would be on hold til 11AM.Family member went to purchase the item on my behalf, I explained via messenger that I could pay with my card over the phone, Apple Pay, and Venmo, cash app etc. the seller did not sold and sold it right in front of my mother in law who drove 40 mins to get there.

I love kids kaboodle. The staff are wonderful. I wish I could remember the name of the gal I always see because she deserves to be praised. They do a great job keeping the Facebook page up to date, and always check on items for you if you call or message them. They have a great selection of items. Everything from clothing to baths to hiking backpacks and strollers. Prices are pretty reasonable and the sales are awesome. I love that they have a stamp card system for purchases. If you all for a opinion on a product you will get an honest one. I have purchased bassinet, strollers, clothing, shoes and toys here and I havent been disappointed yet.

Will start off saying that the ladies here are super nice but I exchange 2 boxes of boys and girls clothes and 2 pair of Nike shoes of my 6 year and 2 pair of my daughter shoes. Plus 2 pairs of rain boots which I washed everything and folded it all nicely. Nothing had wholes or stains and they gave me $20 cash or $50 store credit!?!?! 1 pair of Nike shoes are between $30-$50 dollars! The rain booth I got at fred meyer last year for $20 each. I just dont think the gave people the right % for there trade in. I know its a Consignment shop but I do believe they need to look up things better and gave better % for people things. Would you say save your time and just sell your stuff on Facebook market or offer up.

I wont be supporting this business anymore. Maybe you caught me on a bad day, yeah...must have because Im leaving a review. I never leave reviews. I live in Puyallup. This store is located in Tacoma. I have 2 small children. The youngest I just had 6 weeks ago. I planned my entire day around the fact that Kidz Kaboodles BUSINESS CARD says they take trades on Tuesdays from 10-3.After getting the boxes ready, getting myself ready, and my 2 small children, pulling over twice on the drive to tend to my infant, I finally arrive at the store. Only for the owner to immediately tell me that Im past the time I look at my watch to see that it is only 2:15. Confused I pull out the business card in my wallet and tell her thats weird because your business card says that you take trades from 10:00 to 3:00 on Tuesdays. Annoyingly, she tells me oh it has been edited since then. And that was the extent of the conversation so I then have to put the two boxes back in my car and forget all the effort that I put into bringing all these clothes myself and my children because Im 15 minutes past her edited time. I will never come here again.

It wasnt worth the drive to it, in my opinion. Its small and not well cleaned. The store itself isnt in a safe area of Tacoma either, so it isnt a place Id like to go a lot. I didnt want to browse too long either because the selection of items was very limited and over picked too. Overall disappointed.

Lots of different items to choose from, but a lot of it looks dirty. I spoke to someone on Facebook about a product they were selling, quick to reply and friendly, but when I went in the next day to pick up said product it was hard to find and the staff wasnt very helpful besides just saying we have the same item just a different color which wont matter because my baby will only use it for like two weeks maybe four. She went on to check her cell phone instead of checking us out for the item.

Wow!! I am in love with this store!! It seriously has become me go to for everything baby related! The ladies are so friendly and comfortable to talk with! Very helpful when asked about different products!! Also the products themselves are clean and very organized! Would give 10 stars if possible!!!!

I saw an ad on Facebook for a sale on Fri. from 10-6 I got there around 3, I asked the lady and she said that was 12-2pm I wish there ad was more clear because it didnt mention that time. I drove 25 min for nothing.

Love this store. The sales they have on Friday and Sunday our every little item is $0.25. and although you have to dig through a bunch of clothes theyre clean. And you cant beat the price. Highly recommended special for newborn things. Like brand new.

They dont pay good for anything you bring in, they do specials where they say they are paying better but seems like they are paying worse. Clothes they put out on shelves are sometimes ripped so be mindful when shopping. One of the ladies( not the blonde) was pretty rude and seemed anxious. However some of the clothes are in good shape for good price. Most of the equipment is normal priced so might as well buy new. Will gladly keep everything as donations however. Seems scandalous, dont even know why i come here anymore.

I have been coming here for very long time. I have bought several baby clothes. I purchased a car seat base ... not even hours later I brought it in because it didnt work with my car seat! I spent $15 on that car seat base only to be told that I cant return it. I was never told I couldnt return something or was given a notice that sales was final. I guess they dont care about their long time customers or customer service in general. I will not be returning here. I am greatly disappointed and satisfied. Please be aware of what you are buying here before you buy it because they dont care about your or that youve been a long time customer.

I’m really enjoying this place. I’ve built a full maternity wardrobe and I’ve gotten several quality baby necessities. I don’t see any reason to pay full price for brand new stuff when I can get it practically new here. The staff has been very friendly and helpful every time I go in. I will be back often.

This was a disappointing waste of time disappointing to all the kids I had with me disappointing because it was supposed to be stuff for Christmas and clothing that the kids needed and shoes this is a total lie!! They offered as a free event and it was so bad I cried. I do not know how they can actually do this to people in a time of need with the covid-19... during the holidays when nobody has jobs this is ridiculous this place needs to be boycotted

Employees do not appropriately wear cloth face coverings as required by the state of Washington and recommended by the CDC. I will be shopping at other businesses in which customer and employee health is a priority.The mask was not temporarily off her nose. I asked her to cover her nose and she refused. Face shields are not approved to take the place of cloth face coverings over the nose and mouth.If asthma is such an issue that she cant wear a mask properly, then she is at too high a risk to be out in public.

We just had our first grand baby who spent his first year in the hospital having 2 open heart surgery’s now he’s happy and very healthy. Our first time at k.k was amazing the lady who helped us was so sweet kept talking to our grandson and was so helpfulJust went again today getting a few more things staff always friendly great selection of things when you have no baby stuff what so ever and prices are fair.I will continue going back I love how when he or grows clothes we can bring them back.

Honestly this is the best consignment store Ive found for a childrens shop. They pay you cash same day or store credit. Everything is like-new and theres tons of clothes and sometimes furniture with the tags still on them. They have so many sales that Ive been able to keep my sons wardrobe full for 7 years now. The owners are super nice too!

I called over the phone to make sure the item was in the store. I was told it was placed on an hour hold. I called in advanced TWICE before I drove there to make completely sure. After driving in I5 North for 45 minutes.. I get there and The lady was totally rude and told me that it was sold already? Like my customer service didn’t matter. I WILL NOT be spending my money at a place I am not welcomed NOR WILL I EVER COME BACK! I will continue to shop at Children’s Trading Post In Lakewood, WA. I recommend EVERYONE who wants to be treated with the utmost RESPECT go to Lakewood. Don’t treat other like they are nothing.. your business Will not prosper with a stink attitude. As being in the Military I decided a review would be better than to waste any more of my time! Thanks.

I’ve been going to Kidz Kaboodle for 4 years now! It has always been my go to store. The prices are so helpful to us mommas who want a lot for fair prices. I JUST went to their Green Child and Maternity store at the Tacoma Mall and I recommend everyone to check it out. I left happily! Such a cute store and the lovely lady behind the cashier whom I’ve seen at kidz kaboodle as well as was so nice and helpful.I’d love to see both stores continue what they do for us mommas!I recommend both stores 👌🏼☺️

I was planning on giving a very positive review because frankly I love this store. But had an awful experience with a purchase that I bought from there and the outcome from it. I purchased a baby monitor and brought it home to find out that there needed to be a separate charging cord for the monitor and the cord that was in the bag was only for the camera portion and was a different size and would fit the monitor. I sent the shop a message on their facebook page and to see how to make things right since Im a recurring customer to their shop. They left me on read and did not bother to even respond or try to make the situation right. As a shop, shouldnt they be making sure that everything they buy from a trade is in working condition? Clearly, they didnt check with the monitor.

I found two identical Activitý jumpers both $39.99, but one was missing a piece off of it. I went and asked the lady if she could switch the missing parts to one so it would be a complete jumper. Instead of honoring the posted price, she told me that if she switched the parts over she would have to raise the price to $50.00, this is bad business. They were BOTH marked the same exact price, she should’ve made one of them a complete jumper and sold it for the posted price $39.99. At that point the other jumper should have been reduced since it was not a complete system. A store owner or manager always honors a posted price, he or she should carry themselves in a professional manner and never raise it in front of you. Do not go here, they may change their price at any moment.

Lady in charge is quite rude. I used to love this store, but I dont like shopping when the staff is rude. I asked a simple question about the punch card, I couldnt even get my question all the way out before she started talking over me. And then she threw her hands in the air and got an attitude. Customer service is what keeps your customers not prices. Please be nicer to your customers when asking questions about loyalty/punch card, because if the process has changed since the new ownership, then it is your job to explain and answer my questions rather then throw your hands up and get a attitude.

I read the reviews, yet tried to give them a chance based on my own opinion... Needless to say they, reviews were correct...I was highly offended by the offer of the clothing I was selling. Let me say this...name brand,neat, nearly new clothing... I would hand them out on the street for free first, before I accepted their offer.

I prefer Childrens Trading Post, I had a $150 carrier and they wanted to give me like $5 bucks for it, it was brand new.

Wide variety of all things kid related. They will buy or trade you for gently used items, which is helpful since kiddos are constantly growing. I was able to find the answers to my questions online before making the trip to the store, so I was prepared....I’m only giving 4 stars, because I was not offered a punch card for their loyalty program.

Ive been shopping here for 12 years. It used to be great before the current ownership. Staff is terribly rude. The shop isnt nearly as clean or as organized as it used to be. Our family wont be shopping here anymore.

On 1/20 I took several baby related items to KIDZ KABOODLE in Tacoma. They called me at 13:12 yesterday (1/21 and gave me an amount for the items and said I had 24 hours to approve which would be 13:12 on 1/22. I called at 1640 and informed them that I wouldn’t be selling them the stuff and I would be by by the end of today 1/22 to pick up. The employee told me it would be ready to go. I went to pick up and everything they gave me an offer for was missing/tagged for the store. I asked about it and they are refusing to give me my stuff back because I wasn’t their at ten am even tho I called at 16:40 on 1/21 and told them what time I would be their. Please do not have the same experience I have had.

I have been really happy with Kidz Kaboodle. I have been buying and trading there for the last 6 months. I generally will come here when I need to find special items for the kids (Kehne’s, dance clothes, swim suits, snow boots, bike, double stroller, etc).The prices are higher than a thrift store because they have to purchase the item-I have NEVER felt shorted when selling items to them-they are fair and consistent. Giving you a certain percentage of what they will sell your item for. Could I get more on Offer Up? Of course....do I REALLY want to do the work of posting and meeting people? No.What I try to remember when selling and shopping at consignment stores:If they buy high, then they will sell high.If they buy low, they will sell low.As customers we can’t expect a lot for our items and then expect screaming low deals on the items we buy from them.Thank to Nicole for always recognizing me, always being kind, and for the great deals I have gotten.

Nice little place for lightly used clothing, toys, and accessories for babies and toddlers. Reasonable prices. Not a huge selection of items, but they get their inventory from donations and what not.Some days you might find some great items, and others you may not, just gotta go and see what they have that day.

Cool childrens everything store exchange. You can bring items to sell here as well. Good place to find anything you need for a infant to a toddler.... Accessories, clothes, toys.

I went to a 25 cent sale & I got some pretty cool stuff for my grandkids & my youngest son. The vintage baby clothes were the best! They have a huge table where you just go thru the pile of clothes...can be crowded but worth it if you are on a budget & have many kids to buy for. They do it once a month so check with them to see what days.

I Told my 8 year old son we’d go through his clothes and anything they bought he could keep and use to replace some clothing. Dropped them off only to be told they were “too wrinkly” and asked repeatedly if we wished to donate them to them. We said we’d come and pick them up REPEATEDLY. When O stopped by the store to get them, I was told that they understood me as wanting to donate them AGAIN only this time they said they were just keeping the clothes. They won’t give them back, I keep getting a run around with the managers, and best of all my kid gets to see the true colors of some businesses that will not be lasting much longer due to their own corruption. Shame on you.

For the most part things are reasonably priced. The $.25 sales are fun but chaotic. In my experience the staff hasnt been very friendly, not rude or anything just not very engaging.

Nice staff easy to find i like the fact that they buy and sell their inventory. that makes it nice because kids clothes are pretty expensive to just throw away especially infant clothing which is often only worn once or twice before they grow out of it.

The prices are sooo high for a kids consignment and they don’t have a wide selection when it comes to kids, also the times I have gone I always get rude cashiers who don’t seem to enjoy their time working there . Children’s trading post is definitely my go-to everytime. Only reason I’m giving two stars is because they have the .25 c sale which looks cool but I’ve never been to it.

Ive found that theyre limited on boys stuff, especially anything about 24 months, but over all they have great prices, the staff is friendly, and they have 25 cent sales every week. Which is amazing for us when our son has a growth spurt.

If I could give a half of a star I would. I went there for the first time after the new owners took over to see if theyd take some baby clothes I had. All of it was name branded in pretty decent shape. I took what I wanted and put in the tote for them to look through. They call me oh well give you $17 TF? Ah no thanks. No to mention they sell things way to expensive! A shirt that is missing the pants for an outfit for $3.99, a onesie for $2.99. There isnt a big selection of boys clothes to choose from at all. Needless to say I will stick with shopping and trading at the Childrens Trading Post! They gave me $50+ for a little more then what this ridiculous place offered. If youre looking for a place to trade your clothes that gives you fair trade definitely go to Childrens Trading Post!

Terrible customer service!!!! Do not sell items to this store. I have brought hundreds of dollars worth of baby items to this store for a small return and I always donate the remaining items for nothing. I went to purchase a baby jumper this past weekend and their “system” was down and they could not check my credit balance. I had to pay full price when I knew I had credit there. No “sorry for the inconvenience”, no offer of a percentage off, nothing! If you can’t take care of your customers they will not take care of your business. I will be going well out of my way to shop/sell at another baby resale store instead of ever going back to this store.

Terrible I called there to ask if they take formula and she said yes. so I drove an hour-and-a-half there for the lady at the counter to tell me that her manager wasnt in to look at the stuff and she couldnt do it till tomorrow. it was very inconvenient as this happens to be my only day off and I drove a fair distance after I called and asked before I went!!!

Ive been shopping and trading with Kidz Kaboodle for 18 years. The staff were always friendly, and fair with their pricing, and the store was always clean and organized. Unfortunately all this has changed with the new ownership. Prices have gone up, quality down. Sizes arent clearly marked, making it really hard to shop. Ive actually had a hard time using up my credit there. When I asked if I could convert my credit to cash, the women behind the counter seemed confused about their policy, and never really gave me a straight answer. I left feeling frustrated. I used to recommend this shop to everyone.....not anymore.

They were rude and not very helpful. Try to down sell me my items that was trying to sell. Then the clerk just threw my things back all messy (where when I handed to her it was neat.) Very snooty looks and tonality of here voice. I would not go there ever or recommend anyone there as well. Very unhappy how I was treated.

Have a wide variety of baby and maternity items. Very reasonably priced. Would rather shop here than a big name store!
