Jeff did a great job doing a setup, refret and nut replacement on my Guild. It plays now plays awesomely. Very good customer service, good and prompt communication, very friendly. Brought in a 70’s Martin D-19 for a once over after purchase, Jeff reset the neck, cut me a new saddle and did a partial refret amongst some other love it needed. I cannot believe what a difference it has made in sound and playability! Prices were beyond fair for the quality of work and I know I don’t want anyone else touching my guitars going forward.Thanks Jeff!

Jeff has done a lot of work for me- he did a reset on my ‘63 Gibson LG-1 that was impeccable. Jeff is the only guy in town I would trust to care for my guitars, well him and Ben Bryan. Plus Jeff cares about his community, loves baseball and generally is pretty easy on the eyes. Plus he’s a good dude all around.

Jeff is awesome, just picked up two guitars that I had him work on. Both needed a setup and one needed a pickup swap. Jeffs work speaks for itself, these 2 guitars play amazing, one was suffering from some serious fret buzz and now that issue has been resolved.The pickup install went off without a hitch and he nailed it, 100% will be bringing my guitars to him from now on. Well worth the money, his work is 110% solid.

Jeff really knows his stuff, both for electric and acoustic guitar, 6-strings and basses. He does super quality work and is a guitar-lover himself, so can make great suggestions for upgrades, etc. The most refreshing thing is, as a female musician, not getting talked down to or feeling dismissed. I so often avoid guitar shops because of the attitude Ive received over the years, but Jeff is super respectful and talks to me as an equal. Big bonus for that!

I just picked up my Taylor K26ce from South Sound Guitar repair yesterday and could not be more pleased.The task was to improve the action and they did a fantastic job on it which included a neck reset. The action is now as I like it, real low. In fact it is about as low as it could be and not a bit of buzz.I own five Taylor acoustics and I have owned this guitar for about two years and never thought it was capable of playing this well!!!Thank you for an incredible job at a more than fair price. This was my first visit to this shop and this shop will be my guitar tech when needed in the future. They treat the customer very well, and put quality first, not profit.

I bought a brand new American strat with an all rosewood neck that was pretty nice, but fender did a terrible job with the frets. So I decided the give South Sound guitar repair a try as I do not trust GC. He leveled the frets and set it up perfectly. By far the most enjoyable guitar ive played in a long time. He got the job done in a timely manner, and was very friendly. Price was great too. I Highly recommend South Sound Guitar Repair.

Very happy baught a 1974 Guild D-40 it was checked out had the string holes underneath repaired and a setup. Very fair on price and very happy with the low action on setup. Just a trust worthy place to take your instrument.
