This is an absolute classless store. They ripped me off completely. They charged me $28 for 7 yards of gauze or cheesecloth. If you look on Joann website the cheesecloth for 36 yards is only $22. I will never recommend this place to anyone.And personally, as a customer that is a terrible way to conduct business and it doesn’t bring in more customers whatsoever.To better this situation I’m just going to assume the store needs help financially because it makes no sense to charge a customer that ridiculous price. Money hungry much lol?Anyways my suggestion is you take your money, time and go elsewhere. This is no way to conduct a business. Absolutely disgusted with this establishment.I’m back!Correction: they only gave me 2 yards of fabric instead of the 7 yards that they said they gave me. So for 2 yards they charged me $28. Even more ridiculous. Scammers.

Super friendly and acomidating

Very interesting place to shop for fabric. Staff is variably accommodating, some were super friendly, some werent. Its almost like warehouse shopping and the choice/variety is good. Will definitely go again. Prices were ok but a bit of a haggle worked it out.

I am a seamstress so I go here to buy fabric and other essentials when sewing for my customers. Nice variety of fabric and other sewing materials at a relatively good price.

I felt I was a kid in a candy store. The Spanish lady who helped me was so helpful and nice! Told her I Came from Atl and she needed to give me discount for my far travel... she did! We talked about her many Nigerian customers and we even talk about her family in Georgia. She was superb! The owners were too! I’ll be shopping there again

I like the store very much. Yes, you have to go through the stock twice to learn what is there, it has a lot of choice and it is organized, but in a peculiar way. Sarah and the man up front will help you a lot if asked, they have more behind the scenes than shown.Always ask what you need.Prices are not cheap but reasonable.

This was a nice place to go to look for a different assortment of fabric than what you will find at Joanne Fabrics. The place is a bit cluttered, but the workers are helpful and friendly. The prices vary, but are reasonable. I will visit again soon!

I love this store. It is great to browse in. I always find something of interest. It is crammed with materials, and it can be hard to locate a specific thing, but if I ask, they always seem to have what I need. The staff is knowledgeable and helpful, and the prices are reasonable.

Decided to venture out seeking new fabric patterns as summer is upon us. Nice fabric patterns here and a great variety of choices no matter the fabric. However I rate them 3 stars for a two reasons. First, theyre overpriced. If you want to make a simple dress requiring 2 to 2 & 1/2 yards, at material costing $12.99 - $18.99 a yard you have to ask yourself is it worth it? There are far too many reasonably priced places to shop in the DMV for fabric apart from here. And from what I was told they dont really have sales.Secondly I purchased pretty feminine patterns there. When I got home only to find 2 out of 2 were cut 3 & 4 inches shorter than my requested yardage. So I would advise anyone getting fabric cut there to watch the cutter because clearly in my case, they dont know math. I had to go back and look at my receipt and they really made a mistake. Im fuming of course because it was overpriced in the first place. Since this isnt a major retailer and likely a policy against returning cut fabric, Im at a loss. Choose wisely folks.

Never had the opportunity to find out how good the store is. I have a support dog. We stepped through the front door and I was told she was not allowed. After I explained she was a support animal I was curtly asked what I was looking for. I said, Silks, linens and batiks. The clerk said they did not have any and could not help me. I just left.

Crowded with so many choices of fabric at really decent prices. I also have found beautiful lace here by the yard at great prices!!

NEVER EVER IN THIS STORE AGAIN!!! THE MAN IN THE COUNTER WAS RUDE I THINK HES THE OWNER OR SOMETHING. I WAS LOOKING FOR AN INVISIBLE ZIPPER AND HE RAISED HIS VOICE TOWARDS ME. ACTUALLY, THEIR PRICES ARE VERY HIGH AND DISASTER, VERY AWFUL SELECTIONS ID RATHER SPEND A LOT OF MONEY IN OTHER FABRIC STORES WHEREIN THE PEOPLE ARE FRIENDLY RATHER THAN BUYING IN THIS STORE.

HUGE selection of fabrics and notions, if you can sort through the chaos.We realized after we left prices probably arent set, so be ready to negotiate.

Place has tons of fabrics, very cluttered and not organized unless you have someone show you around. Prices are reasonable, but vary depending on who you talk to.

They have a good selection of fabrics at an okay price but the location is cramped and things are hard to find. Service us bearable but more workers could be very helpful as waiting for assistance could delay.
